Warren gritted his teeth. He couldn’t argue against that logic because it was completely true. He wasn’t so sure that he wanted Erik to know everything in his past just yet. It was much nicer to just be treated like he was a normal human-looking mutant and didn’t want the other to know that he spent the best part of the last year hiding because he was blue and looked like a monster. “You really want to know?” he asked, raising an eyebrow. He couldn’t unload all of his past if the other didn’t really want to listen to all of it. It was a lot to unload to someone who wasn’t really ready to hear it all. Erik had seen and heard a lot, though. All of his past problems probably wasn’t even going to sound like much of anything to him.

they'd ran into each other a few more times after that day in the shit bar, shomron was staying the week and they were on the pub crawl. but daniel was ruthie's friend and ruthie's age, so as drunk as they got the most exotic thing they encountered was the bacteria in the bathroom. and warren had inevitably left with erik's number in his phone. they texted a few times, mostly with erik shooting him open-ended invitations to places. no expectations, no concerns. sometimes it was easier to be in your own apartment, though, so then he'd shown up with a six pack and a recorded soccer game. they were several beers in each when he looked over and posed the question. warren's answer surprised him-he expected another rebuff. (it was, uh, not easy to hurt erik's feelings.) "hamem oti," he nodded, gesturing to himself. "you can't heal in isolation," he added, eyes slits as he leaned back into warren's couch... feet up on the table. the dude really had no sense of basic human boundaries, like, at all. who needs boundaries, warren can almost hear him reply, boundaries just mean you're afraid.

The white screen is a rough and dirty avante-garde band based in israel. They aren’t just trash and grunge, they are sure to put glam and lust at the forefront of their music. They are a political band, criticizing everything about the current state of israel. A big part of their music is performance. They dress in white and usually wear wildly messy red lipstick. Take a look at just one of their music videos and you’ll get the idea.

Their self-titled debut album features just about everything their band stands for. Sex, lust, and rock all while berating the system. If I could into their lyrics I would but I have not been able to find any translations online of their music.

Strong visuals that go along with their music are their attire- pure white clothes and red lipstick. Static and the concepting of trudging always arise in my mind when listening to this band. Madness and disfunction come along with much of it.
