Weird realization that I’m gonna need to figure out some reason for: when Dana and Leo pull out their wings, they’re more like... generally awe-inspiring than their mom or their aunts and uncles? Like, Zach just had wings and eyes that glow when they’re out, Will gets a little glowy when he does magic and gets wings and the eyes, Allison doesn’t get the wings but she gets radiant when she’s cancelling magic, and Maria, their mom, has two sets of wings but doesn’t get any glowy. Zach has 3 sets of wings and gets radiant with them, and Dana is like... more. Girlie gets a halo and she can just glow at will and she has 6 wings (although like, only one set is big enough to hold a person’s weight. The others are just cool) and her eyes can change colors instead of just going gold by default? And like... even their cousins aren’t as much? Alix just has a set of wings and it ends there, Zoe doesnt have any wings and only glows faintly when she’s cancelling magic, and Rae and Syn, the angel’s kids on the other branch of the family tree, just have wings and it ends there. Jorden seems like he’d be the main factor contributing to a change in the like... pattern? And it could be for the Noren schenanigans or it could be for the whole ‘fucking around while reality was kind of making peoples magic weird’ thing or it could be the ‘didn’t experience the passage of time for around a century’ thing or it could just be smth else and this is honestly just aimless rambling at this point and ik I haven’t given a ton of context but my brain isn’t really doing that rn so like... ig if you’ve read through this all and have questions, feel free to ask?
