It seemed as though the temperature in the city had risen, the Sun beating down on the streets with an almost ridiculous intensity. Yet still, in this unpleasant weather, Jade walked along clad in his usual uniform. Seemingly unfazed by the heat, he simply wandered on his way, passing idle glances over those around him.

“I’m not so sure why everyone insists on complaining about the weather. Of course it’s rather warm, but it’s nothing to cause a fuss over.”

The little girl clone was the last person (or ghost) that he expected to meet in the Hive’s streets. Not shifting into his ghost form, annoyed that he would run out of its daily use, he stepped outside the cafe that he treated as his office, approaching her.

“Ah, Daniel might not be here, but you will do for now. That is, unless you start melting again”, he said with a smug grin on his face. Maybe now it was his time to shine and get Danielle on his side in case the annoying half ghost boy showed up.

For an acrobatic performer, Sora could be surprisingly clumsy, like when she tripped and fell forward, managing to recover by flipping onto the side of a nearby fountain only to slip and fall into the water.

"I-I'm okay!" Embarrassed, she clambered to her feet, her dungaree shorts sopping wet as she assured no one in particular that she was alright, not yet conscious of the fact that the outline of her sports bra could be seen through her white shirt where the dungarees didn't offer cover.

        Some chumps were easier to steal from than others. The plus side of being in a crowded city was that people just sometimes did not pay attention. So with a few turned heads, Meenah grabbed whatever she could and ran off with it. She didn't need any of it, maybe a little food, but there was plenty and she'd work on selling it all off to gain her fortune back. Spotting what appeared to be a human wiggler, she approached and waved some kind of lunch box in her face.

        "Hey, chum--er, kid. You hungry? You wanna buy some 'a this delicious shit? We got uh..." She riffled through it and shrugged. "Yeah, I don't know what any 'a this shit is but you a human and it's human food so you probubbly gon' like it."

 Insisting for his companion to return to the safety of his Pokeball had been an argument and a half, but Makuhita had finally obliged, likely exhausted from the familiar-gone-unfamiliar exertion of plentiful walking with such short legs. Brawly pressed the capsule to his chin contemplatively for a moment, before pocketing it and leaning back against the wall of a building.

With a heaving exhale, he slid down to meet the sidewalk, his left hand fumbling over a loose rock as it came into contact with the hard ground. 

"This. Is. RIDICULOUS."

With the last word breathed, he slung the rock aimlessly, a bit of a grit in his teeth-- right towards a female figure. With widened eyes, he jumped to his feet, apologies fresh on the tip of his tongue. "WHOA, LOOK OUT. I'M SORRY--"

"It is best that I just get used to this place." Lexicons were mumbled just slightly above a whisper, but the tone was secretly not of an agreeing nature. Still, complaining & droning would not be of much aid, that much Kanade could come to recognition with. As she surveyed the location, emerald hues came across a market area; this made her realize that she hasn't ate anything since her arrival, perhaps she could find something close to the Yakisoba she used to eat back at home. & she's shifting her clutch in her hands, coming to the decision to explore the market, but thoughts ceased the moment she noticed what appeared to be a girl either her age or younger, various food items cradled in her hands in a suspicious manner, were the items not paid for or something of the like? It was not like Kanade to intervene on others' situations unless called for, but, she was more than sure that her guess may be right. Keeping her stomach muscles from tying in continuous knots, Kanade went to go catch up with the raven-haired girl, holding out her hand to call out for her.

                 "Hey!" she exclaimed, hoping the other could hear; she didn't want                   the girl to feel as though she's trying to apprehend her or what-have-                   her, but she at least wanted to see what has brought her to what could                   be her hypothesis that she may have just been stealing.
