I can’t believe I gotta be the hater but that music video was horrendous
#like I get she set it up to be speak now tv revel and that’s the only function it serves#but literally nothing about it is good#Oscar winner Laura Dern directed into some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen#half a song spent in an elevator with boring visuals#a runway stage that’s pretty but last forever#then four different plot points shoved into a 30 second closer that is emotionally hallow#the back half is what needed time to breathe because it was the most interesting part!!!#and yet!!!!
