Happy Birthday to Hakuno Nekoda from NOISZ STΔRLIVHT!

I can't use my tablet right now, so unfortunately, these are staying as sketches.

It's my first time ever drawing Hakuno, and I think it turned out alright. It's never going to be bad so long as I draw all my art with joy and passion.

I love NOISZ STΔRLIVHT, both for its innovative gameplay and engaging story. If you're okay playing mobile games with optional microtransactions, I highly recommend that you give it a try.

Hakuno Nekoda for the send you a character thing

I love her, and I'm sad that she had to go through what she did just to be herself, but I'm glad she had friends that accepted her the way she is and that her aunt was willing and able to take her in. I also really like how she clashes with Sera in funny ways, how much of a goofball she is, and how she can get really serious when she knows it's time to get serious despite how much of a goofball she is

I don't know if it's because I missed pretty much all of the dating scenes, but I don't really ship her with anyone (yet?)

Definitely Sumire and Sera. Sumire and Hakuno are really cute, and Sera and Hakuno can be really funny (but also I wanna see where the discovery of them being related will bring their friendship)

Not sure how unpopular it is, but she's probably my favorite singing voice from STΔRLIVTH. Not like anyone's bad, I love how they all sing, but she's the one I enjoy the most. Her singing in True is very very good. Props to Leon for voicing her.

I imagine this is where the plot is going with the Clash of Twilight, but I want to see Shion and Haku talk again, in general, even if they don't reconnect right away, I just want them to take that first step. Also more sister shenanigans with Sera

You see, I have been completely indecisive for what team I will be on for NOISZ STΔRLIVHT's Convergent Event 02.

Your votes on that poll decided my team. Cats are a stand-in for the team associated with Hakuno Nekoda, and birds are a stand in for the team associated with Sumire Hitori. (I am phrasing it this way for a plot-spoiler-related reason, iykyk).

Therefore, I will be on Team Hakuno for Convergent Event 02.

The Convergent Events will decide the outcome of NOISZ STΔRLIVHT True Heroes' ending, so in a way, the voters of this poll, even if you don't play the game, have an impact on the ending. It depends on you, too. Let's see where this decision takes us.

It's a bullet-hell rhythm game with a story chock full of interesting lore and compelling characters, some of the most creative and fun charts I've ever seen, and a really solid core gameplay foundation for those gimmick charts to build on. Plus, there's great LGBTQ and plural representation.

The first Convergent Event, between Sera Hoshikawa and Grace Kamenashi (the game's main queer couple), begins March 29, 2024. The next one (which this poll is related to) begins April 12, 2024. Due to the nature of these events, they will never be rerun, so now's a great time to get started with the game.

NOISZ SL CH5 Spoilers

I've been trying to correctly attribute the lyrics of Clash of Twilight to the characters singing it (besides the end part that ktern gave us), and it's been a pain.

I think my guesses of who's singing are like 50% accurate, maybe upwards of 80% if my method of splitting the SUNRaiSE v STARLIVHT sections turned out to be right. Also, there're a couple of lines I can't tell if are Sera or Grace (guessed Grace bc Sera got a special line starting as SL's leader).

Not including lyrical accuracy bc I'm going off of other people's guesses on the SL Datasheet + my own interpretations based on that.

And then there's the rap section, where I'm, like, 90% sure it's Hakuno and Shion based on the pitch of their voices and the strained family relationship the lyrics embody.

Thank goodness that the lyrics by themselves sorta hint who's singing them sometimes.

Like with the rap part, talking about unmasking your true face is probably sung by Shion because of her strong misunderstanding of Hakuno's identity (thanks to her terrible parents aggressively sheltering her). Plus, when she visited the STARLIVHT office, she accused Hakuno of pretending to be herself, in essence calling her a faker. The “ending the cold” theme in the preceding rap lyrics would fit Hakuno wanting to repair her relationship with her sister and get her out of her abusive household.

And the mentions of daylight in certain sections lead me to think it's SUNRaiSE there, and that the lyrics swap who's singing which part in the repetition, kinda like how Parhelion did with Asuka and Hikari in its repetition of one of its section.

The “Take me far far away” part HAS to be SUNRaiSE, based on Shion's situation. But I'm not sure on splitting the other chunks.

I've listened to this song like 7 times in the past hour. I'm going to lose it. I feel no closer to getting this right. Ugh.

I love Clash of Twilight so much. Its lyrics have a threefold meaning: the literal song competition between SUNRaiSE and STARLIVHT on the surface, SUNRaiSE trying to advise STARLIVHT based on their experience with being idols and STARLIVHT trying to help with getting Shion out of the Nekoda household to see a brighter future (okay not exactly, but I'm struggling to word it), and then the third meaning relating the inaccurate nature of the False Timeline itself.

Being hard to unpack and decipher is both its strongest asset and greatest frustration.
