So a lot of people died this year in Hajj because the Saudi government is a piece of crap with no proper management. My mum almost got crushed and came back traumatised from the amount of dead bodies she saw.
Why the hell would you block all the roads and taxi service, then force people to walk in a heatwave?
Where were the authorities to break apart the huge crowds?
Where is the Islamic morality Saudi Arabia? First the whole loving Israel thing, now this.
Great job👏👏👏

The holy city of Mecca is a sacred site for millions of people around the world, but it's become increasingly difficult for octets to attend their sacred ceremonies in the city.
For starters, Mecca is under strict Saudi Arabian laws that make it challenging for octets to find religious freedom. The Islamic faith requires worshippers to face the direction of Mecca while performing their prayers, but octets prefer to face their caravan or home when worshiping. Additionally, octets are often subjected to exacting regulations that forbid certain kinds of worship and pilgrimage in Mecca. As a result, octets are often disallowed from attending sacred practices like Hajj or Umrah.
Furthermore, Mecca has become increasingly commercialized, creating difficult conditions that affect the religious practice of octets. Mecca is home to some of the most luxurious hotels and luxury outlets, and these appeal to wealthier tourists more than the average octets who are struggling through difficult economic times. The commercialization of the city has caused prices to skyrocket, driving away octets who can’t afford such luxuries.
Finally, foreign taxi and tour companies often discriminate against octets. Many of these companies are owned by non-Muslims and prefer to serve non-Muslim visitors, leading to octets being treated unequally.
These conditions make it difficult for octets to practice their religion in the holy city of Mecca. Octets are faced with barriers of all kinds – from legal restrictions to economic factors – and it can be extremely difficult for octets to find religious freedom in Mecca.

Umrah in October: A Simple Guide
Why Choose October for Umrah?
Nice Weather
One big advantage of doing Umrah in October is the pleasant weather. Saudi Arabia can be extremely hot in the summer, making July a tough time for many pilgrims. By October, the weather is cooler, making it more comfortable to perform rituals and travel. This is a big difference from the intense heat you might face during Umrah in July.
Fewer People
October is not as busy as the peak Umrah seasons, such as Ramadan or the Hajj season. This means that the holy sites in Mecca and Medina are less crowded. You can perform your rituals more peacefully, without the long lines and congestion that happen during the busiest times.
Lower Costs
Traveling for Umrah in October can be cheaper. Airlines and hotels often lower their prices when it’s not peak season, making it more affordable. Hajj Umrah Travels offers special packages for October Umrah to give you the best value for your trip.
Getting Ready for Your October Umrah
Spiritual Preparation
Umrah is a spiritual journey. Start preparing by increasing your prayers, reading the Quran, and making du’as (supplications). Learn about the rites of Umrah and make a list of personal prayers you want to say while in the holy cities.
Physical Preparation
Even though October is cooler, you should be physically ready. Exercise regularly to build stamina, as you’ll be walking a lot and performing physical rituals. Make sure you’re healthy, and check with your doctor if you have any medical conditions.
Packing Essentials
Pack items that are necessary and comfortable. Here’s a list of must-haves:
Ihram Clothing: Two white seamless cloths for men, and modest, comfortable clothing for women. Comfortable Footwear: Lightweight and comfortable sandals or shoes. Personal Hygiene Items: Unscented soap, shampoo, and deodorant. Medical Supplies: Any prescribed medications, a first aid kit, and over-the-counter medicines for common issues. Travel Documents: Passport, visa, travel itinerary, and any required vaccination certificates.
Travel with Uajj Umrah Travels
Flights and Transportation
October offers many flight options to Saudi Arabia. Book your tickets early to get the best prices. Hajj Umrah Travels can help you find the most convenient flights.
Once you arrive in Saudi Arabia, you can choose from various transportation options. Taxis, ride-sharing services, and buses are available to take you from the airport to your accommodation. We also offer personalized transportation services for a smooth transfer to your hotel.
Accommodation
Choosing the right place to stay is important for a comfortable trip. There are many hotels and guesthouses near the holy sites. Think about how close it is to the Haram, the amenities offered, and your budget. Hajj Umrah Travels provides various accommodation options to fit your needs and preferences.
Performing the Rites of Umrah
Entering Ihram
Ihram is the sacred state you must enter before performing Umrah. For men, this means wearing two white cloths, and for women, it means wearing modest, plain clothing. At the Miqat (designated station), perform ghusl (ritual purification), put on the Ihram garments, and make the intention (niyyah) for Umrah.
Tawaf
The first rite of Umrah is Tawaf, where you walk around the Kaaba seven times in a counter-clockwise direction. This act shows the unity of Muslims in worshiping one God. Even though October is less crowded, be patient and respectful to other pilgrims.
Sa’i
After Tawaf, pilgrims perform Sa’i, which means walking seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah. This act remembers Hagar’s search for water. Wear comfortable shoes, as this involves a lot of walking.
Halq or Taqsir
The final rite is Halq (shaving the head) for men or Taqsir (trimming the hair) for women. Men are encouraged to shave their heads, while women cut a small portion of their hair. This act signifies the end of Ihram and the completion of Umrah.
Visiting Medina
The Prophet’s Mosque
Visiting Medina, the city of Prophet Muhammad, is highly recommended. The Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) is very important spiritually. You can offer prayers, send blessings to the Prophet, and visit the Rawdah, considered one of the gardens of Paradise.
Historical Sites
Medina is rich in Islamic history. Sites such as Quba Mosque, the first mosque built by the Prophet, and the Uhud battlefield, where an important battle took place, are worth visiting. These sites offer a deeper understanding of the Prophet’s life and early Islam.
Practical Tips for October Umrah
Stay Hydrated and Eat Well
Even though October is cooler, staying hydrated is important. Carry a water bottle and drink regularly. Eat nutritious meals to keep your energy levels up. There are many places around the holy sites offering a variety of food.
Manage Your Time
Plan your activities to make the most of your time. Set specific times for performing rituals, visiting sites, and resting. This ensures a balanced and fulfilling experience without feeling overwhelmed.
Be Safe
Always stay aware of your surroundings. Keep your personal belongings secure, and avoid carrying large sums of money or valuable items. Know the emergency contact numbers and the location of your country’s consulate or embassy.
Comparing Umrah in October and July
Weather
As mentioned, October offers cooler weather compared to the intense heat of July. This makes the pilgrimage more comfortable and less tiring. Pilgrims in July often face challenges like heat exhaustion and dehydration, which are less of a concern in October.
Crowds
July, especially if it overlaps with the Hajj season, sees a lot of pilgrims, making it very crowded. October, on the other hand, is less crowded, providing a calmer and easier environment for worship.
Costs Travel and accommodation costs are generally lower in October compared to July. Airlines and hotels increase their prices during peak seasons due to high demand. Therefore, October can be a more budget-friendly option for many pilgrims.

Conversation
Elizaveta Vereykina: Are they happy in Afghanistan?
Alexei Nikolayev: Yes, they all are married and have happy families. Sergei Kransnoperov is the most successful person I met. When he was a soldier during the Soviet-Afghan war, he had a conflict with someone at a military base and left to try to make his way home. But he was captured by mujahedin and spent a year in captivity, until he converted to Islam and was released.
Now he has two jobs as a road constructor and an electro-mechanical technician at the local hydroelectric power station. He earns more than $1,000 a month, a very good salary for the region, and built a house. He is in great demand in Afghanistan and wants to stay there. He is afraid he wouldn't find any work back in Russia.
Another person — Alexander Levenets, whose local name is Ahmad — has also adapted really well. He converted to Islam and went on the Hajj, the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, last year. He works as a taxi driver and is happy with his job.
But others aren't so happy. Gennady Tsevma, whose local name is Nekmuhammad, lives in Kunduz. He was disabled by a leg injury in the war and can't work. He has no pension and gets no proper medical care. I even had to pay him for the interview — it's one of few ways for him to earn money.
#i mean u should be paying all these people for interviews...??? but anyway#Elizaveta Vereykina#Afghanistan#interview#soviet#Alexei Nikolayev#Sergei Kransnoperov#russian

Some clarifications; Sufi does not mean:
Above the law (‘shariat’) as taught by Prophet (ﷺ)
Somehow exempt from Salat, Zakat, Sawm, Hajj and most notably Shahadah
Separate from ‘muslim’
Sect, or anything of that sort (although some so-called “sufis” do deviate…)
For the purpose of this question, a Sufi means ‘muslim mystic’. A more accurate term is ‘muslim who takes an oath (bay’ah) to walk the inner path (tariqat) of Muhammad to reach proximity with Allah (hadratullah)’, but for the purpose of simplification think of Sufi as ‘muslim mystic’. Can you be a taxi driver as a muslim? Yes. Can you be a farmer as a muslim? Yes. Can you be a teacher as a muslim? Yes. Can you be a mystic as a muslim? Yes. Sufi is that. There are 1,8 billion muslims (and growing rapidly), somehow expecting all 1,8 billion to be a homogenous group is actually quite uninformed. The one who somehow removes ‘Islam’ from Sufi has invalidated the term Sufi.
