This weekend my husband and I did hair for a large group of bridal party in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara, CA. It’s about 2 hours drive from home so instead of hiring an assistant why not teach my best friend, my business partner husband how to curl hair and assist me prep Rochelle’s bridal party. We arrived a little earlier than schedule (which is good) because we just wanted everything to go smooth and of course deliver our best work together. I was only hired to do hair which is rare because people know me for my make up work more and find out I also do hair just as good but anyway here’s a clip I put together just playing around on iMovie. (Originally from snapchat)

Tools & Products I used to create these beautiful hair dos:

Freeze and Shine by Paul Mitchell Moroccan Oil Hair Spray (super strong) Moroccan Oil Dry Shampoo Control Maniac by Sexy Hair

Bobby pins Rat Tail comb Marylin Brush teasing comb Wet Brush Hair clips Cape

The plan was to put 3 girls in rollers which takes me 7 minutes each and while they’re setting I work on the more intricate up do’s. It turned out they all wanted twists and braids and lots of textures. I used the hot rollers just on top to create volume on some of the girls and mostly used the Bio Ionic Style Winder and the NuMe wands.

This was indeed a great appointment. Well organized and not so rushed on my part. Hope you enjoyed our "hairventure" from this weekend .
