Part 2.

An Akaashi Keiji fanfiction (Haikyuu).

Y/n opened my door to see him, soaked in the pouring rain, his hair dripping and glistening under the porch light. His light blue shirt was covered in dark blue wet patches.

"Akaashi-kun? Oh my god. Come in! Why didn't you bring an umbrella?" She yelled frantically.

"I thought I could run over to your house in time but it started raining too much." He said, chuckling as he ran a hand through his dark locs.

Y/n offered him a towel and a change of clothes into the oversized things she owned.

"Everything you own is pink." He smiled, coming out of the bathroom, still rubbing the towel against his hair.

"Yep!" She grinned.

"It's cute." He said, looking down at the shirt.

'Cute? Who- me?' Y/n thought for a second.

"The shirt? Oh yeah haha" She said, shaking that thought off her mind.

He sat down on the desk chair in her room, opening the books he brought when something caught his eye.

"... Are those Spiderman cards? You like marvel?" He asked, slowly picking the cards.

"Of course! What about you?"

"Me too! I can't believe I found a fellow marvel fan."

After a long conversation of discussing fan theories and plot points, the pair realised they hadn't started on any work yet.

Y/n reached her hand out to pick up a pencil when Akaashi's hand brushed against hers. She immediately receded her hand, apologizing. He didn't seem to mind and just smiled.

'His smile is so sweet.'

They quickly wrapped up their assignments and Y/n saw him to the front door.

Before he left, he turned around and said, "I had a lot of fun today. We should hang out again sometime."

Her face lit up, "Yes, that would be so much fun! Y'know there is a festival this weekend. You wanna come?" She said expectantly, leaning forward towards Akaashi.

"Yes, Y/n, I'd love that. Let's- uh" He hesitated for a second.

"Let's invite our friends too?" He asked.

Y/n's face dropped for a second.

"Oh, uhm, yeah okay. You invite Bokuto senpai and I'll call Sasha from our class." She said, a little less excited than before.

"Alright I'll see you then." Akaashi walked out the door, flashing one last smile.

"Bye, Akaashi-kun!" Y/n yelled before closing the door and sighing.

'Well, atleast I get to hang out with him, huh?' She thought.

Y/n's phone started ringing. She got up from the sofa to answer it when she saw the caller name. A bright 'Akaashi-kun😉' flashed on the screen. She answered it to immediately be greeted by his deep morning voice.

"Hey, Y/n?" He said groggily, still half asleep.

She was caught by surprise as Akaashi never called her before.

"Yeah, what's up 'kaashi-kun?" She said in a cheerful voice.

A deep low chuckle escaped from Akaashi's lips. "I wonder how you are always so energetic."

Y/n giggled at his remark. "Because unlike 'a certain someone' I actually wake up on time."

Akaashi's low laugh echoed through the phone. Y/n froze for a second at his voice sounding so... different.

She cleared her throat, "Anyways, what did you call about?"

"Right yeah, Bokuto just cancelled. He says he's sick. I think it's because he got into trouble with the festival's ferris wheel manager last year."

Something came over Y/n for a second.

"Actually, Sasha also can't come! She's actually sick, unlike Bokuto." She chuckled nervously.

"Oh, I guess it's just the two of us then. We'll have a lot of fun." He snickered.

As soon as he hung up, Y/n immediately called her friend, explaining the situation to her.

"You like him, girlie." Sasha teased.

"No! I just- I don't know. I wanna get to know him more. That's it."

"Okay well, you get to know him or... his lips?" She snorted.

"Sasha, STOPPP." Y/n whined and hung up the call. She sat there for a second, wondering if there was any truth to what her friend said.

Y/n stepped outside her front door to see Akaashi already there, waiting for her.

His figure loomed over her, his usually messy hair, carefully styled, and a dark blue kimono hung on his shoulders.

"Oh 'kaashi-kun! You look nice. Blue suits you."

"And pink suits you as well. " He says as he looks down at your kimono, admiring it's design.

"And your hair, you definitely didn't do that by yourself. Or it would've been a mess."

Y/n scoffed and hit the side of his arm. "Hey! That was uncalled for."

Akaashi laughed as they made their way out, closing the door behind them.
