I only have a few documents related to my WIP on my computer, and their names aren't very interesting lol. I do most of my writing/brainstorming in various notebooks and then eventually transfer them slowly (very slowly) to digital, so yeah most of it isn't on my computer but yeAH without further ado..

Badly summarize your WIP in bullet points

For my main original writing WIP - still sans a title, but quite literally just part of a scriv document called Fire Gods. Dragons have been hunted almost to the point of extinction, but their bones and body parts (scales, spikes, teeth) are extremely valuable and fuel magic in this setting. Their song-language is even more magical, however it is greatly lost to time and can only be spoken by a few choice mortals. Most people burn their mouths even trying to sound out the ancient syllables.

Word Find Tag!

Thank you so much for the tag @space-writes. I haven't written as much as I want to lately, so I used this opportunity to sort through some older drafts I have and find what I still liked or may want to continue in the near future. Others I had to just hunt through my old rp blog for...

My words were: miserable, arm, serve, and sigh.

Miserable

At this, she makes a rare mention of a younger sister, who she compares to a rabid dog that she regrettably had to put out of her misery. There is only a little sorrow in her prose; Iraestra seems mostly detached from the event as she clinically describes the early symptoms of her sister’s insanity that she should have noticed.

Arm

She's given a slow, considering look. “What, trying to impress him already?” “I don’t need to impress him. My presence does that all on its own. He needs to impress me, only he’s been failing miserably. That’s why I’ve sought solace in the arms of a temptress.”  “Temptress. Nice. I see you’re getting into character already.” 

Serve

“I’m not here to be part of that,” Deyanira’s voice is mostly steady. Falters at the last word, but they square their shoulders defiantly. Fear serves little purpose here, other than to get them killed. They’re not so sure that the threat of that isn’t imminent. Danger sings in their bones. The Seaspring is once more a placid lake behind Ais, but they won’t easily forget what they just saw. Neither do their fingers loosen around the knife. “I need your help.” 

Sigh

Your dreams are not mine to partake, she thinks with only a little bitterness. Disgust turns inwards. Who is she, to sigh after a lover like a girl again? Is she not far too old for such things? To make half-imagined promises in the back of her mind?
