Can I request how you think Poseidon, Zeus, and Hades would react to the reader asking them to come hang out in a blanket fort? Idk y but i think Poseidon would absolutely love blanket forts

Note(s): Poseidon definitely would be the most chill of the three, imo.

Hades

He doesn't even look up from his work as you ask him to spend time with you. He did hear you, he's just caught between being in the middle of something and processing your question.

Hades looks up after a few moments and sighs at the question. On one hand, he's extremely busy (like usual). But on the other hand, he feels horrible saying no to you.

"Give me five minutes," he tells you and does his best to finish up the paper he's currently working on. You probably have to remind him when five minutes is up.

Hades grumbles a little trying to get into the pillow fort, as he's rather big and he doesn't want to destroy it on accident. It's quite comical watching him squat down to join you.

Poseidon

An amused smile crosses his face when you ask him to join you in a blanket fort. Poseidon absolutely agrees, just give him a few moments to get ready.

Puts on his comfiest toga before joining you in the blanket fort, also doing his best not to make a mess since he's pretty big too.

His arms wrap around you as he pulls you in for a bit of a cuddle, easily chatting about your day with you or whatever else.

Poseidon grumbles if there is any interruptions while he's trying to spend time with you. If Zagrues calls to request a boon, he just hurries the boy to choose some offering so he can get back to cuddling you.

Zeus

When Zeus jokes(?) about fun under the covers, a blanket fort isn't quite what he meant. But he shrugs and goes along with it.

He's smaller than his brothers, but still struggles a bit with getting into the blanket fort. "Might need you to lay on top of me to make more room," he teases before settling in with you.

Honestly, he criticizes the blanket fort a bit. Stating that he's got plenty of pillars and area in the throne room, you could surely make a much bigger blanket fort with him happy to help too.

Doesn't care if anyone tries to interrupt. He stays cuddling with you while nonchalantly discussing business. You end up showing up in the message to Zagreus when the godling requests a boon, Zeus bragging about how cute you are before letting the boy continue with annoying his father.

A/N: Still on that Epic the Musical high. I don't know if it's ever stopping.

Apollo enjoys nothing more than basking in the morning rays of the sun while cuddling in bed with you after a night spent together. His touch is hotter than the warmth of the Sun itself, waking you up was he runs his fingers across your back. So are his kisses, further stoking the heat you already felt between your legs when he started making his way down again.

Aphrodiete admires the scratch marks she left on your body the night before. For her love and passion are her battlefield, and she wants to have proof of it on her skin and yours, even if it can get a bit painful but that's also where the pleasure comes from. She wants to spend the whole day kissing you actually, one night isn't nearly enough to satiate the thirst she feels for you.

Ares pulls you on top of him while you tease him about the bite marks you left on his neck the night before. It wasn't really your fault, he was the one who was so rough he almost broke the bed. And besides he was the one who told you to bite down on something to help silence your moans, so really, he should be proud of you that you bit so hard you marked him.

Hades doesn't let you go unless you have to go to the bathroom. He wants to cuddle with you for as long as possible before he has to go back to the Underworld and has to wait a while until he can see you again. The last thing he wants is to have more time away from you than he already needs to, if it was up to him though he would gladly take you with him, but he can be patient.

Hermes loves teasing you from the moment he sees you, into the morning he wakes up and until he has to leave to do his job. When he leans in to kiss you he nibbles on your bottom lip, when he runs his hands down you body he lifts you up into the air and kisses you hard. He has to keep you wanting, keep you guessing what he's gonna do the next time he visits you.

Poseidon was the first one to wake up but not because he wanted to leave but because he wanted to count all the hickeys that he left on you. This can be his possessiveness kicking in but it's also the admiration for you who were asking for more and more and more. It's impressive that you managed to keep up with him for as long as you did, and even gave him a few hickeys of your own.

Zeus brags about how made you pass out the night before and he wants to do it again now that you're awake. He pouts when you push him away, arguing that you need at least a bit of rest before that, and one night of sleep isn't enough, he should at least give you until noon. While he doesn't like to be kept waiting he also doesn't want to push you too hard, he likes you, and he wants you to stick around.

Hades characters and affection

In an established relationship

Zagreus

Zagreus’ favorite place to kiss you has got to be your forehead, where he can just quickly bend and give you a quick kiss.

If you’re busy doing something he can, and will, disturb you by lifting your head up so he can give you that goddamn forehead kiss.

If his dad killed him (again), he’ll be even more insistent on his affection, wrapping his arms around your waist and putting his head on your shoulder, muttering under his breath about how his blasted father won again

Hades

You’re not getting kissed, for one, not even Persephone gets kisses most of the time.

His affection is mostly just him having a hand on your shoulder, he’s just not very touchy- with how touchy his brothers have always been he’s grossed out by most interactions that include touch.

The only time he’s really ‘clingy’ is when he looses a fight to Zagreus, but even then it’s mostly just him sitting on the ground and leaning his huge weight on your side.

Nyx

Nyx also isn’t super affectionate, I mean she’ll lean down and give you a little peck on the forehead, but it’s not often.

She’s more of the kind of person to sit down on the bed with your head on her lap as she pets your hair and tells you about some story Chaos once told her about.

If you’re out in the House she’ll hold your hand or put her hand on your shoulder, but not much more.

Charon

Chances are, even if you have Charons affection- you’re not getting touched.

The most he will do is let you lean against his side if you’ve been walking for a while, otherwise literally all of his affection is in small free gifts.

If Charon likes you enough, he will sit down beside you and drape his long cloak over your shoulders.

Hypnos

Out of everyone here, Hypnos is the clingiest, arms constantly around you whenever you’re close enough to grab.

He’s not much of a kisser, usually just having his arms and legs locked around you as you force him to actually do his job.

He will however freeze for a solid minute or two if you give him a kiss.

Thanatos

You’re being kept at an arms length- literally.

Thanatos loves you, he does- but he just doesn’t do affection, if you’re lucky he’ll have his scythe around your shoulders to keep you in his presence.

The closest he’ll get is when he’s tired, or in bed, but even then it’s just him resting his head on your stomach or lap.

Zeus

He gives Hypnos a run for his money at how clingy he is, but Zeus won’t leave you alone.

Kisses are being pressed all around your face, your neck, even your hands. He has his arms around you with you in his lap, nuzzling you or bragging about his achievements.

Your ‘alone time’ is just when he’s tired and sort of flopped against your side with his head tucked under your own.

Poseidon

He’s not nearly as clingy as Zeus, but he still almost always has an arm around you.

He’s not exactly a person who will give you kisses, but he will absolutely hold your hand or link arms. He’s also fond of leaning against your side.

Poseidon will absolutely have your head tucked under his chin as he tells you a story that one of the ocean creatures told him.

Aphrodite

She is quite affectionate, going between holding your hands, cupping your face and even nuzzling her nose against yours.

Most of her affection comes in the form of praise, complimenting your appearance, what you’ve done today, what you’re wearing- everything.

Aphrodite definitely has her hair over your shoulders as she shows you this interesting new thing she’s found.

Ares

I honestly wouldn’t recommend accepting his affection- his affection is not nice and sweet.

He’s more likely to put you into a headlock and wrestle with you, correcting your form and giving you a smug grin or a (hard) pat on the back to praise you lasting that long against him (it wasn’t long at all)

The sweetest he will be is putting all of his weight on you when you’re in bed and passing the fuck out.

Dionysus

He’s sort of clingy?? He’ll have his arms around you when he’s drunk, mumbling random stories into your ear.

He offers you wine, an arm around your hips and hand on your thigh just to hold you up against his frame.

His kisses are rare and sloppy, usually on your cheek or forehead.

Hermes

He is the king of quick pecs, always moving around so whenever he spots you he nearly knocks you on your ass as he quickly kisses your cheek or forehead.

Hermes will never hold hands or lock arms- just because he’s too impatient for it.

Hermes will, however, football tackle you into a hug.

Achilles + Patroclus

If this is in a platonic sense, you’re not getting much. Achilles with clap you on the shoulder or give you a side hug- Patroclus won’t touch you at all. They’re tough soldiers, not super affectionate.

That’s all taken away if you’ve joined their chaotic relationship.

If you’re dating them, Achilles has an arm around you always, causally leaning down for forehead kisses. Patroclus is even affectionate, cupping your face and nuzzling his nose against yours… or mocking your height.

Theseus

First of all, how did you get this man’s affections?

Second of all, his form of affection is holding you, he’ll hold you up in his arms and walk around with you as if you’re the sun itself.

Kisses are not a thing, you just have to listen to him bragging for hours on end.

Just curious but what is Hippolytus!readers opinions of the gods? Considering how Aphrodite and posiden pretty much ruined his life for no reason.

Hi! I'm working on your other request, but in the meantime I'll answer this question bc its short.

Hippolytus grew up close to several gods thanks to the influence of Theseus. That, plus his Amazon blood, makes Hippolytus automatically compatible with gods related to battle, bloodshed, hunting, etc.

For the same reason, I think he greatly respects Ares, he's like an idol figure to him. Alonside Athena.

Along the same lines, after his death, I think he may have met and become friends with Apollo, maybe even having something like a "situationship" between them, but it didn't come to anything.

Obviously Artemis is the goddess that Hippolytus most respects, admires, and one could even say that he loves platonically. She took him under her wing when he recently passed away after all, and they have a bond similar to older sister-younger brother.

Artemis was very protective of Hippolytus the time he was with her, those were good days for both of them, where they didn't feel alone anymore.

NOW, with the gods that Hippolytus doesn't really get along with, Aphrodite can't be missing.

Let's keep in mind that Hippolytus still has to deal with the consequences of his trauma with women because of her, and the fact that she did it simply because he preferred Artemis simply confirms to Hippolytus that she is an immature, volatile and inconsiderate woman.

Aphrodite ironically likes Hippolytus better now, precisely because Zagreus and him are together (she sees it as "her influence finally catching up to him"), but honestly it only makes Hippolytus angrier.

Poseidon tries to avoid interacting with Hippolytus at all costs, going so far as to not give him Boons in his battles with Zagreus. precisely because it's an awkward situation. for both parties.

Poseidon only did what he was asked. Hippolytus understands that, but still can't help but go into a MURDER RAGE every time he sees him. Yeah, if it weren't for Aphrodite he wouldn't have such a bad relationship with his father. But if it weren't for Poseidon, he'd still be ALIVE.

Then there are gods that Hippolytus doesn't get along with either, but dosen't hate. like Hermes, Dionysus, Demeter, Zeus, etc.

He respects Hades, but definitely puts that aside when Zagreus talks to him about what a bad father he is. He relates to that a lot.

Hipólito crecio cerca de varios dioses gracias a la influencia de Teseo. eso, mas su sangre de amazona, hace que Hipolito sea automáticamente compatible con dioses relacionados a la batalla, al derrame de sangre, a la cazeria, etc.

por lo mismo, creo que respera mucho a Ares, es como una figura de Idolo para el. Junto Atenea.

en la misma linea, después de su muerte, creo que el pudo haber conocido y haberse hecho amigo de Apolo, talvez incluso teniendo algo asi como una "situacion" entre ellos, pero que no llego a nada.

obviamente Artemisa es la diosa que Hipólito mas respeta, admira e incluso se podria decir que quiere de forma platonica. ella lo tomo bajo su ala cuando recien fallecio después de todo, y tienen un vinculo similar a hermana mayor-hermano menor.

Artemisa protegio mucho a Hipolito el tiempo que estuvo con ella, fueron dias buenos para ambos. donde ya no se sentian solos.

AHORA, con los dioses con los que Hipolito realmente no se lleva bien, no puede faltar Afrodita.

Poseidon solamente hizo lo que se le pidio. Hipolito entiende eso, pero aun asi no puede evitar entrar en una RABIA ASESINA cada vez que lo ve. si, si no fuera por Afrodita no tendria una relación tan mala con su padre. pero si no fuera por Poseidon, el seguiria VIVO.

después hay dioses con los que Hipólito no se lleva ni bien ni mal. como Hermes, Dionisio, Demeter, Zeus, etc.

el respeta a Hades, pero definitivamente deja eso de lado cuando Zagreus le habla del mal padre que es. se relaciona mucho con eso.

A/N: Seeing as I'm still in Greece as of writing this and EPIC the Musical made fall in love with the Gods I'm writing this.

Apollo serenades you at the start of every sunset. For him it's important that his belobed starts the day right and he more than happy to help. Somehow he never runs out of sappy verse to whisper in your ear as he leaves, giving you words to replay in your sleep.

Aphrodite visits you every free moment she has. She is affectionate in every way possible. In her words, whispering sweet nothings in your ear, in her touch with which she is able to make your whole body tingle and want more, in her actions with which she displays affection for you in grand guestures because you're her beloved human and all other Gods should know it.

Ares doesn't know much about gentle touch but he is willing to let you teach him. Eager to tell you of his many victories but also provide you with lessons so that no one can put you in danger, not that anyone would dare with him watching. Protectiveness is also part of his nature to the point of being perfectly willing to be cruel in order to protect you from others.

Hades showers you with many gifts over the time he spends trying to win your heart. Makes sure you're always thinking of him while you're apart and he wants have something of yours too, each of you would have one piece of each other with you. Sends his kisses from afar until you're in his home and he can kiss you for real.

Hermes runs everywhere all the time but he always makes time for you, it doesn't matter what message he needs to deliver. There's always something intersting for him to tell you when he comes back from his travels but he also likes using the excuse of sending a message to see you. Not unnusual for you to see a love letter randomly appear in your room, right next to your bed.

Poseidon takes you to many islands for a vecation with him, a romantic getaway if you will for you two to get to know each other better. He loves to go on a midnight swim with you under the stars and give you lots of gifts from the sea, things to decorate yourself and your home with.

Zeus brags a lot about himself when he's with you, he's a big showoff but he also wants to lift you up. If you want to be his lover you have to be worthy of him, the King of the Gods. He is very loving when you start returning his feelings, he wants to be a good lover, which also means he can hardly keep his hands to himself when you're alone.
