it sounds ridiculous but prior to this year i wasn't really into watching movies; i'd see around a dozen a year and rewatch my favorites every halloween, but other than that i didn't seek out new films. this year i made watching new movies a priority and i'm really proud of how many i managed to see! i started watching older films and fell in love with them, and also really branched out in the horror genre, because despite it being my favorite genre i'd always been very picky about certain subgenres <3
