I'm planning on streaming over the last weekend of September to do some Patreon requests and catch up on commissions! I've kept people waiting, and while I'm extremely thankful for your patience, I am aiming to deliver something worth the wait!

A money and family-related vent kinda thing because I need to scream about it somewhere—

I'm just barely getting by money-wise rn. Like I had a little over 3 USD in my bank account and while I'm fortunate enough that I have an emergency set of vouchers for food if I really need to get it, it means I have to hold off on stuff like laundry for ages at a time — and makes traveling around the city almost impossible unless I prepare in advance.

And that's why it's so frustrating to me when my family pops in with a spontaneous "I'm visiting for a few days! Let's do something!" I love my family, but I have to try as hard as I can to conceal how bad my financial situation is so they don't— whatever. You know how families get.

And I thought that a couple weeks ago was the last of it. I had time to myself, no keeping schedules open for them, just time for me to catch up to my bills and commissions that have been waiting for so long and start earning properly again — I even paid the rent I've been missing for the past 2 months — but nope! Someone had to pop back in with a "Have an exhibit in 2 days! Hope to see you there!" It's so, so hard to say no because they have to fly here for a chance to say hello but holy shit does it take a toll on me.

And now I'm here over an hour late on the way to the event because I had a breakdown over having to scrounge around for loose change to be able to travel.

Anyway, if you've read all this — I don't really know what to say. If I owe you a drawing for a commission, I do have progress in all of them and will get to you hopefully sooner rather than later, and also thank you so very much for being patient with me.

I have a lot on my plate. I'm part of the staff for a zine too and we got caught up in a convention whose organizing team all but forced us to move our schedule up (honestly, they're making us look incompetent or worse like scammers) but hey, at least we're close to printing — which does mean more work for me. I'm a mess. Thanks for bearing with me and supporting me. Fuck, I hope I can get my shit together.

It's my favourite panel too, Anon~! I was hoping I could come up with a good expression and convey the image I had in my head of him fanning at his face... Happy to know I managed something good! 🥰

And I adore Ly/ney's voiced sneeze line!! He's already so charming and cute — and then he mentions the superstition where you sneeze because someone is thinking of you... and ends it by wondering if the player is the one thinking of him! So so cute~!

I'm definitely planning on drawing him! Also I believe @sneezytomatosquish has an animation of him in the works! ;)

I especially looove the JP interpretation of the sneeze because it sounds kinda half-stifled!

Also his JP VA has quite a bit of experience voicing sneezes... I have some of them posted here! He voices the sneezy guy from XXX Allergy on the BLCD!

If anyone is looking for commissions—

I know I still am working on a bunch, and I'm very thankful for my commissioners who are being patient with me, but I really do need the money fairly desperately right now, so here's my price post.

I'm behind on a lot of payments, even with most of the money I earn already going towards bills.

On the bright side, I'm gonna be selling stickers and prints at a convention next month, so I'm hoping I can turn that into a business at least. That's in the future though.

I'll make this the official commissions post for now!

As a base, I'm offering a fully-coloured halfbody/thigh-up drawing for 50 USD. Additional characters will cost 40 USD per character.

I'm also open to drawing a few watercolour-ish sketches (sequenced or not) on a page if you'd prefer. The prices for that can be discussed and will depend on the number of characters and the number of sketches you would like.

And as for comics, I am willing do them either sketchy monochrome or fully-coloured at the prices in the examples, with a discount for additional pages.

FAQ

Do I have to be 18+ to order?

Yes, I’ll only accept orders from people 18 and older.

How do I know when you have commission slots open?

I’ll have it on my bio and reblog this post when I get slots open. Of course, you can also message or email me to ask!

What methods of payment do you accept?

I’ll accept payment through PayPal only. That does mean invoices I send will include a fee for PayPal in addition to the prices listed above.

What are you willing to draw?

Characters must be over 18. I’ll need references, but in general you can ask me.

Fictional characters (anime, game, cartoon, etc. — feel free to ask)

OCs (you can ask for yours, mine, someone else’s even)

Furry

Kemonomimi (animal ears/tail)

Some humanoid fantasy races (elven, vampire — again just ask)

If you’re interested, you can send me a message (not an ask/submission) through Tumblr or email me at hachiibun@gmail.com and we can discuss your order.

When we confirm your order, I’ll send you the PayPal invoice. Payment will be due in 3 days by default. We can discuss this deadline, but I may refuse if the extension is too long to give others a chance.

I’ll begin working on your order only when I receive confirmation that the invoice is paid.

If there’s anything you need to change in the order, let me know immediately so I can make changes. If you want to add a character, I’ll send another invoice with the additional payment.

I’ll send you a rough sketch and wait for confirmation before doing the clean-up, line work, and colouring. You'll get further updates from me during the process.

I’ll show my finished work for a final confirmation. Minor changes may be accommodated, text can be added.

After the final confirmation I’ll send you the final drawing through a GDrive link. Then it’s all yours, and the order is complete!

Happy New Year, snzblr!!

I've done a lot this year and... I'm pretty proud of myself. It's small steps for sure but I think they're in the right direction. I'm enjoying what I get to do and more opportunities are opening up.

I made good on an old promise to sell art at a convention, and I'm hoping to go even further.

My resolution this year is to release a game for you guys before the year is up!! I'll have some updates here but they'll be more involved on Patreon.
