To celebrate finding a new procreate brush that I actually really like, I’ve decided to draw @habken as a merowl! Bc drawing ppl is hard! And I felt like mermaid! And owl!

Seriously this got out of hand so fast, it was only meant to be a sketch and it just kept going and don’t slow down

If you like birds then you prob already know this, but the reason owls are so quiet is because their feathers are made different from most birds!! They don’t make flapping sound and are literally silent when they fly, except for the quiet take off and landing. Their wings are way larger than their body, letting them glide for longer without the need to flap, which while silent can still cause subtle noise!!! Barn owls are also the owl with the BEST hearing!!!
