Yes, a lot of people came. There is Gunnel's boyfriend Mikael. There's Marianne and Håkan Tanaka (spotted behind the sofa). There is Ebba's brother Kjell. Her aunt Karin(!) and uncle Matteus Jr. Her mother Ingrid. Her father Martin is there too somewhere, and his wife. Gustav Tanaka and Tomoko is here as well.

Waiting Women (Ingmar Bergman, 1952)

Ingmar Bergman's Waiting Women is also known by its slightly racier American title, Secrets of Women. Both titles are apt. Four women are waiting at the summer home of the Lobelius family for their husbands to arrive. Each is married to one of the four Lobelius brothers, who run the family business. When Annette (Aino Taube) complains about the lack of intimacy in her marriage to Paul (Håkan Westergren), the other three respond with stories about their marriages. Rakel (Anita Björk) tells how her confession to an affair with an old flame caused her husband, Eugen (Karl-Arne Holmsten), to threaten suicide. Marta (Maj-Britt Nilsson) tells of her affair with the youngest of the Lobelius brothers, Martin (Birger Malmsten), who wanted to break free from the family business and become an artist in Paris. Marta discovered that she was pregnant with Martin's child, but when she went to tell him, his brothers had just arrived to tell him that their father has died and he's needed back home to run the company. She decided to have the baby on her own, but Martin returned to marry her. The oldest, Karin (Eva Dahlbeck), tells of attending a party with her husband, Fredrik (Gunnar Björnstrand), who scolded her on the way home afterward for wearing a dress that he thinks is too décolleté. We have already seen how pompous Fredrik can be in the scene in which the brothers try to persuade Martin to give up la vie bohème and join the business, but Fredrik loosens up a lot when he and Karin are trapped overnight in an elevator. It's one of Bergman's best early films, with his usual bittersweet comedy touch that he would perfect in Smiles of a Summer Night (1955), though it's decidedly pre-feminist in its outlook: Contemporary viewers may wonder why marriage seems to be the only object in view for these intelligent women.

Håkan and Marianne has at the height of their life been blessed with another son!

Ebba of course makes her way over to them, where they live next to their older son Gustav, to congratulate them and meet her newest "cousin" - little Daniel.

Visiting friends and family!

Marianne now lives with Håkan, which really warms my heart. Talk about a love that needed time to grow and find it's shape <3

Cousin Gustav lives next door, with his wife Tomoko.

And so, all good things must come to an end.

Marianne decides to move to Del Sol Valley, with Gustav. Not long after Gustav will move out (to the house next to her!) and get married to Tomoko Yamaguchi. And Marianne, she will find her way back to Gustav's father Håkan who moves in with her and eventually marries her.

Ingrid stays with her mother in Oasis Springs, enjoying her life as a body builder and raising Kjell.

Ebba, she says goodbye to her brother Kjell for now. She can't wait to start her new life - over at Moonwood Mill! Bring it, Gen 10!

Not only is Marianne working hard on her acting career. She also hosts parties (and her sister Elin and ex Håkan showed up!), writes autographs and takes selfies with her fans.

Her fame is rising fast!

Gustav is having a very good life as a non-heir in a legacy hpusehold. There’s always someone around to read for him, bathe him, play with him or tuck him to bed. Soemtimes his dad comes by too.

Marianne is pretty happy with this too. She can be both a mum and have her own life while her mother dotes on her grandson. For Yumiko, being with Gustav means the world to her. She doesn’t have to worry about money like she did when her kids were small and she can just focus on being a present and attentive grandma insead.

We get the news that Marianne has had a baby! The child is called Gustav and is quickly being spoiled with love by his aunts who come visiting from University.

For Marianne, this might not have been fully thought through, and she is not interested in pursuing anything serious with the father of the child. She is happy that her family so easily embraces Gustav.

Her sisters however, actually truly dislikes Håkan for knocking up their baby sister. He is a dormie of theirs and both have their relationship with him in the red...
