10. thoughts on Jeremy's backstory?

idek where to start tbh it all makes me feel sick. being a child of divorce myself, his daddy issues hit close and seeing him be estranged from his father but also keeping his last name as a last tie to him hurt deeply. the fact that his mother is a bigoted homophobe aligned with her father-in-law’s political agenda and image instead of taking care of and supporting her children makes me furious. his older brother being an Asshole who got him hooked on pain killers and drugs?? obsessed with dragging him through the mud and using him as the fall guy since he’s ‘already the biggest disappointment in the family’?? despicable. his sister calling him scandalous and blaming him for tearing the family apart bc of the incident??? foul foul foul. and joshua basically ignoring his existence until he wants to make jeremy feel even guiltier about the whole thing is basically the icing on the whole rotten cake. they can all go fuck themselves <3
