❛ i can’t sleep either . ❜ hi soji
ANGST SENTENCE STARTERS.
❛ . . . i guess we’re in the same boat , huh ? ❜
much like a SECRET , his words are spoken quietly and retain some double meaning beneath the surface. no – one in the group really talked about how yuugo had trouble falling asleep , or how his few moments of slumber were often plagued by ghastly nightmares and his specters from the past. only a handful like emma and ray bore witness to the latter , but nevertheless – all of the kids sort of just knew. what they didn’t know was that ray could empathize with those sort of bygone regrets. in a way , he and yuugo were a lot alike.
ray spends an instant longer processing the page of his book beneath the candlelight before shutting it closed. when he redirects his attention to where yuugo is leaning against the doorframe , there’s unspoken understanding in his eyes. but he isn’t emma – initiating or sustaining heart to heart conversations isn’t his forte and a part of him remains tactfully SILENT. ❛ i was just rolling around some thoughts in my head. there’s this new recipe i want to try cooking for the younger ones. in fact , i was thinking of doing a trial run at this hour. if you’re up for it , help me out. ❜
