crying. no i mean, more than usual lskdjd. would feel bad about it, like really bad, but if it’s to make sure you’ll be happier later than he would do it. he doesn’t want you to suffer because he has to fight against kibutsuji and lord knows what could happen.

not gonna lie here, gyomei would be surprised you want to spend your life with someone like him.

physically, he is always gentle with you. our boy is big af, he can’t afford hurting you in any way.

emotionally… well, at first he was a bit rough. but then he opened up and kinda accepted that you deeply care about him, so he tries his best.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

YES. hug him all the damn time. 25/8. forever if you have to. he likes receiving hugs, i’m not kidding.

he would hug you a lot too if he notices you like them. bear hugs, yes. you usually get squished (gently) between his big arms. you literally disappear every time. it’s funny.

alright, i’m done. gyomei would wait months before stating explicitly that he loves you. of course he would do anything to show you his love, but saying that? not happening any time soon.

i don’t think he’s on the jealous type. but if he gets jealous of you, gyomei would lift you up with his arm and pull you away from the conversation, excusing you both with a shitty excuse.

“but gyo! i was talking,” you pout at him, trying to free yourself. “they were too close to you,” he says, acting like you were about to be taken away.

well, i can say that he likes to be kissed anywhere? his face for sure, and he likes when you kiss his nose. gyomei would laugh when you kiss his hips tho, since it’s probably one of the few places you can reach by yourself.

he’s very responsible and knows his way around children. would gladly spend a lot of time with kids, and would enjoy hearing you play with them too.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

i believe gyomei gets up pretty early in the morning, so he would usually stay there for a while to let you sleep peacefully. but when he gets up you start whining and trying to convince him to stay in bed. not happening any time soon… but if he didn’t had to train that much and fight demons, i’m sure he would happily spend his mornings cuddling in bed with you.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

cuddling of course, he’s a big and warm and gentle bear. gyomei would usually ask about your day in general and then help you relax before going to sleep.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

100% sure he would reveal things slowly. he opened up to you after months of knowing you, so it was really a special event.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

well… i think he’s pretty patient, he rarely get angry at you. but when he does get pissed he’s scary ngl.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

he remembers a lot about you, he’s not one to forget things easily. but i believe he would categorise what things are important to remember and what not? i don’t know if that makes sense.

R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)

when you confessed your feelings and started mentioning every little thing you like about him. it made him feel loved and special.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

man fighting demons— no i’m serious, he would do everything he can to protect you from demons, that’s his job after all.

he doesn’t really need protection, so… yeah, you’re his only priority.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

um, i think he would try his best even though it’s his first time. he tries to be as romantic and caring as he can & tries his best to remember everything.

gyomei would also do his best to help you around the house or basic tasks, he doesn’t want you to feel like a maid or something.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

what i mean is, he can still go on with his life, it just feels less colourful i imagine.

okay, since he can’t write because he’s blind (duh) and thus can’t send you letters, he usually sent you little gifts through his crow whenever he’s out on missions.

i believe he’s a light sleeper so he easily wakes up, but would probably stay in bed anyway if it’s still night.

gyomei would exit the bedroom to reach the back garden and spend some time sitting there, but he would be back soon. he does it when he find it difficult to fall asleep and the quiet offered by nighttime helps him.

A/N: This was my first time doing a male reader and I honestly had so much fun with it. I know there is a lot of room for improvement but this was a good way to start!

Being a Demon Slayer was anything but easy. The constant training and missions kept you on your feet constantly. And any moment of free time was dedicated to healing or training with the higher-ups.

Today was no different. You had just gotten back from a mission a couple of days ago and after some much-needed healing, you were ready to go back to training with Hashira Gyomei Himejima.

You don't really know how you guys ended up training buddies but you weren't complaining. Something about the gentle Hashira always gravitated you to him. The way he walked around so menacing but once spoken to you realize how soft and gentle he truly is. It took a while for him to completely open up to you, but once he did, it was an avalanche of emotions.

Training with him allowed you both to understand each other. To build a bond without words.

Your training with him had lasted a while with him showing you some new exercises to work on during your resting periods to keep your body and mind in top shape. Leaving you both to go shower and head to bed to prepare for the next day.

Your mind swirled as you replayed your interactions of the day with him. The way he spoke to you differently than he did the others. How your touches would linger even out of training. Even how your eyes seem to always gravitate towards each other keeping this contact that made you feel butterflies in your stomach even when you were just thinking back to it.

You reached your room hesitating a moment as you kept your hand on the handle. A light blush covering your cheeks as you snapped back to reality. You were about to enter when you noticed someone coming out of the bathroom. Your head immediately turned to see who it was when you make direct eye contact with Gyomei.

Your eyes drift down taking in his freshly showered body. His normally styled hair was now laying flat against his forehead droplets hitting his toned chest. You follow the droplet down his body noticing how the towel hung dangerously low on his hips. He clears his throat making you meet his gaze again a slight blush covering his face.

You turn toward him making your way to him as you mentally prepared yourself as to what was to come next. "Hey Gyo how was your shower" you smile leaving a small gap between you as you looked up to him.

"It was great" he answers looking down at your lips before keeping his gaze on your eyes the blush on his face turning a darker shade.

"That's good to hear" you nod not sure of how to go about things.

"Y'know Gyo there is something I have been wanting to tell you for a while now..."

"Yes," he eagerly responds watching as you fiddled with your hands.

"Is it alright if we talk about it somewhere more private?" you gesture to your room watching as his eyes followed your movement.

"Of course lead the way"

Your mind raced as you tried to figure out what you were going to do next. You had laid awake at night preparing scenario after scenario of you finally acting on your feelings for him but now that you were actually here your mind came up blank.

You opened the door letting him in making sure to lock the door afterward as you turned to him. He stood awkwardly in the middle of the room unsure of himself when he met your gaze. Your eyes conveying emotion after emotion as you made your way to him stopping once you were a step away from him.

"There's sort of a lot I want to say but I can't really find the words to" you explain your eyes never leaving his.

"Its alright words have never really been our forte" he smiles giving you a reassuring nod "Just do what feels right."

You nod taking a moment before closing the gap between you. Your hands cupping his face bringing him towards you. Feeling your breath hitch as you felt him lean closer. You close the gap letting your emotions flow through the kiss. Lips perfectly molding to each other as his hands wrapped around your waist pulling you flush against his dampened body.

His body was warm to the touch, you could feel his heart pounding against yours. You could feel his tongue swipe over your bottom lip. His movements being just as gentle as he is as his hands wander over your body desperately trying to pull you closer to him. You hum allowing yourself to melt into his touch.
