TTRPGs & CRPGs (GM learning session ideas)
As to learn the ropes of game mastery and earn the associated title of "Game Master" (for fun and profit), I felt like asking out if anybody would be interested in my second-ever attempt to run TTRPGs. I am contemplating towards a few experimental short campaigns or one-shots, filling the role of what the commoners call a "dungeon master".
Whilst I am not exactly sure whom desire to play such short campaigns (mostly customized one-shots, with pre-generated options, for the time being) with me, here are a couple suggestions and check in if you are interested.
Gila RPGs' NOVA ( alongside its Creator Kit ) with Heliopolis & ChronomancerTomb & Burnout UserGeneratedContent, powered by the LumenSRD
WONDERFALL
iXe
PARIAH with MÊLÉE & GENIUS LOCI modules
Cyberpunk RED, but run likewise to "Cyberpunk 2077", with or without its "Phantom Liberty" expansion pack. May or not include BlackChrome, InterfaceRED Volume 1, InterfaceRED Volume 2(Unsure because I don't own it compared to the others here but maybe eventually?), ElflinesOnline & FractopianCityPlanner ;
TalespinnerEU
Pathfinder 2E adventures but set in a fantastical version of Angora around the end of its 41st century (according to their mainstream calendar that is)
(dreaded by WotC politics & ethics) Dungeons and Dragons 5E (revision 5.1) adventures with much first-party content (considering specifically "Icewind Dale" but divided into way smaller chunks & editing around its content by much)
I am taking at the very least major hints from my constructed worldbuilding project to joint fun at the table and creative pertinence if not using those world's planets as campaign settings in all serious intent. And even thought it is far from satisfactory in immersive scenes bottom-up level on its own due to lack of multimedia content (especially over visuals, soundscapes, films, in-world feelies and other manifestation aids), it is quite enough to get started a few mystery-oriented sessions in all kinds of gameplay systems, play-styles & time periods. Especially looking forward to acquire the above-mentioned NOVA stack as well as a bunch more... Bronze Age materials. I got a couple more products I would love to use & cover over the indie scene, especially Game Mastery resources for historically-inclined dense immersive worldbuilding. Most likely going to host and play campaigns in a somewhat chronological order as much as possible to emulate the progression of my "Civilization 5 Complete Edition"-inspired workflows. Thus, this "shared"-paracosm if you will, would have plenty of content for anyone to immerse themselves onto. (Don't forget to consider that the major curator timelines and interpolating data between "save-files" / journaling record instances in a open source-y version-control manner is a transparent manifestation games' process and its private paths should be taken very seriously but its maintainers.)
And yes, I am definitely considering continuing what I did for the Gygax75 challenge too (only did the first "week" over the five presented thus far due to detailing scope creep / "worldbuilders disease"). Excited to make some retro-computer aids for my constructed world stuff once I reach a satisfactory level of expertise in that game mastery stuff (it helps to have a better grasp of how players interact and what they seek in my works) but I am very open-minded about whatever we can do to enjoy those sessions for whom wants to play really. (Still putting a decent social contract and safety tools there regardless, but that shouldn't scare you off considering that they only are a matter of handling edge-cases like nightmare players)
(It would be really nice to have a pool of at least 24+ contributors / players for this massive creative endeavor but I am not gonna force hands here. And I do have plenty of ways + resources as to get to my desired outcome. However, more people feeding into the project in some way or another really helps speeding the whole process up and making it way more accessible / useful for you all once it is ready for publishing than it would be if I did it all by myself alone)
Going to write a handful of suggested group-wise specifications relatively soon for those of whom want to play any specific sessions or campaigns I am setting up for fairly soon. Still preparing homebrew materials of my very own too for such and will play solo campaigns too. Farewell to soon fellaws!

The Adaption of Wizard of Oz
As a child I remember watching, The Wizard of Oz, with my parents. At the time I wouldn’t have been much older than 6 or 7 and the flying monkeys were terrifying at the time. It also was a formative moment for an imaginary creature that lived in a large mirror in the basement of my childhood home, and for my love of wizards. This all influences the reason that I want to build an adventure/setting for the Wizard of Oz in the weird imagery that I remember as a kid. As well as mix it with the clockwork, bodyhorror, science fantasy elements that I have been seeing in my Dungeons and Dragons game of late. The first step is to revisit the source documents, luckily these documents are all part of the Public Domain excluding the movie. Which from initial and limited research is still owned by Warner Bros. and as such won’t be able to include that directly into the imagery or material. This shouldn’t be to bad as this is being used as inspiration and not a complete adaptation. I will be using the Gygax75 challenge as the building for this. Building a dungeon and expanding the location to more and more locations as the game or in this case the write up continues. I hope to share some of the work that I have going.

LinkedLists in Lisp Machines and the power of "Parentheses & Macros" (0x1D/?)
16^12 sideline thread follow-up to this article:
But yeah, lets chat some about amazing features of the 16^12 simulationist setting, its virtual realms' and a couple more components worth talking about as the aspie I am.
While '(expt 16 12) is also a topical info-dumping mechanism, a personal worldview expose, a manifestation toybox and so much more, this whole... paracosm I invented really has started as a reaction to a couple trends I observed in mainstream multimedia during my childhood, like 2000s movies' X-Men, Halo 2, Godzilla & documentaries I used to watch regularly. As the hobbyist historian I am inside, I fantasized about distant future character scenarios where one persistent OC (initially called Nexus) and a few more corrected events in movies and stuff and that kinda thread-mill carries onto me even now but in further abstracted ways.
Now the premise is that Jana (new name for such a mothfolk construct INTJ individual) studies and supervises long-running history simulations at the dusk of time itself (black holes epoch - iron stars aka way farther in time towards heat death) around some Matrioshka Brain with less and less of her peers sticking around. And as the one constant android remaining in this facility, she is slowly granted & gifted the responsibility to log, to archive, to supervise... in the search for a solution to entropy, which does lay directly within their bare hands. (kinda Rags to Riches for sapient computers & with some supplemental esoteric aspects attached as well to emulate the cycle / circle of life trope) Calling that rendering of the trope as "GitWorld Power Escalation" ^*^
Which does grant my half-speculative setting plenty of possibility room while retaining key positive / constructive elements across various different simulations in very immersive manners... And yeah, I will be going over some more themes & specifics too within these reality hexagon instances (taking hints from the Library of Babel / Memex & some neuroscience video here) quite soon as their planning / implementation / manifestation is going to be very interesting to see unfold on live-streams and whatever other media forms I wanna explore.
The "Servitor" speculative fiction project is only one curated narrative among many set within one such reality hexagon, with Kate & Ava being agents inside such virtual context windows. Will try my best to keep you all updated on its progress, it has been slower than I would like but it is moving forth well enough.
Anyways, back to how I look forward to use & customize Steel Bank Common Lisp to develop my way towards sapient synthetic-tier android peers... Will write that in a later article in the thread, I swear.
Checklist of key stage-1 tasks left for a 16^12 MVP
Write Ava Character RefSheet
Write Kate Character RefSheet
Write Jana Character RefSheet
Write Tano Character RefSheet
Develop "Maskoch", the woodland town where Kate comes from
Develop the Shoshoni major cities, especially the one where Ava & Kate reside
Develop the Matrioshka Brain structure's rooms
Develop "Servitor" narrative novel outline
Augment the cartoon pitch slideshow
Solidify the worldbuilding / lore systemically for the live-streaming feeds
Experiment & draft the cohesive systems at play for the copyleft worldly simulations
Prepare several short demonstrations (interactive or not) to show not tell my setting guide
Compile the inspirations into a few pitch points as per the Gygax75 guide first stage
Curate my useful learning resources into proper topics, priorities / with a "Pomodoro-driven Kanban board" to get a micro-learning daily habit going strong.
Optimize, clean, polish & peer-review what remains to be done for the next stages of the process

16^12, a constructed alternate history thread far far away into the future...
Greetings folks, I am a bit of a mess but at least I am productive and caring so that's nice. Showcasing my main pitch to my far far away future campaign setting and its constructed languages... with some key sources (doing my best to avoid inspiration sources overdoing-creep), much notes and a "multimedia" mood-board to guide the manifestations and creative processes involved in this project.
Mostly following the "Gygax75 challenge" steps for the next few weeks and also juggling between WIPs when I still can for my sanity's sake. A couple of basic ideas are pretty much already noted and a handful are already on my other articles in here so I will spare you of unnecessary details as much as I can.
Major Sources:
Sid Meier's Civilization 5 Complete Edition + FreeCiv
Cyberpunk RED
Talespinner EU TTRPG
Wonderfall
iXe Solo Journaling TTRPG
Historical encyclopedic works
GURPS?
Pitch
Player characters are a party of humans in a larger world of multiple sapient species, point-crawling across time, space and existential planes for a eldritch library historian patron [*ahem* INTJ vibes]
Futuristic yet timeless nuanced world instances with much historically-informed contrast, feeling both foreign and yet comfortable & familiar (alternative path yet close-enough parallel history, constant astronomy and overarching geography)
Heavy use of diverse languages, skills & trade whilst restraining violent gameplay in favor of diplomacy, deeds and factional-management (politics & trading favors...)
Small community of legal magick users with very potent and abundant magical gifts every so often... (secularism and esoterism in-juxtaposition) seeking to preserve their craft and pass it to the party...
What to do and what not to do
Respect the social contract
Be nice and understanding to others and to yourself
