eom jisung, remember the name.
#eom jisung#gwangju fc#football#k league#the kid is crazy good for ppl who don’t follow kr football he’s compared with sonny basically#he’s a tricky lw who can shoot with either foot but he relies more on dribbling than pace#he def needs to add some muscle tho and his injury history is a little concerning (he’s had a couple of ankle injuries)#but with some development he could definitely start for a k league 1 team and the knt#possibly even move to a european club and do well there i’d like for him to go to the buli first before any other tho#but yeah first development in kleague then possible move to a lower buli club that would be the dream#he doesn’t have military exemption tho 🥲#funnily enough he’s from jeollabuk-do iirc he’s probably a jeonbuk fan LOL#i think he came to the FA cup final against fc seoul#also he’s named after park jisung 😭😭😭 his parents really said project mbappé#rahul.txt

[K-League Classic] Kim Min-Hyuk
Kim Min-Hyuk in the match vs Jeonnam Dragons recorded his first K-League assist of the season. Kim Min-Hyuk was a recent transfer from FC Seoul along with Jung Jo-Guk in the off season. In 2014 while playing at Gwangwoon University, Kim received the U-League MVP award. Due to limited playing time options Kim opted to move to greener pastures and is pleased to be playing again. He believes that working with Head Coach Nam he will further gain confidence and to be aggressive.

[K-League Classic] Gwangju FC 2-2 Incheon United
Gwangju FC are off to a flying start to begin the season in the top flight after a 2 year absence. We opened up against Incheon United at their ground for the opening fixture. I was cautiously optimistic coming into the match having observed Incheon last season I have a gut feeling they will struggle for good parts of the season without Moon Sang-Yoon and Lee Suk-Hyun. Gwangju started the match off on the right foot putting Incheon in lots of pressure and keeping the majority of the possession. However Incheon struck first against the run of play on some defensive/keeper errors. Gwangju showed its fortitude by maintaining the pressure like before which paid off when a late run far post cross was headed in by Jung Ho-Jung into an Incheon player and redirected in for an own goal. There was some bad luck when Incheon took the lead again via an own goal as well. However the team again struck back quickly before time was up grabbing a well deserved point. Lee Jong-Min was able to control the final corner and tuck it away. Overall it was a decent first performance for the side and something to improve on. The bane of our existence in the top flight a couple years ago was the terrible defense despite our good offensive play. Next weeks match for also promoted Daejeon will be a better indicator of where the team is at right now. I was pleased with the play of Im Sun-Young (MOTM) and Kim Ho-Nam who both will need to be huge for our survival.
