Tyria Pride Parade 2024 - Day 2 Screenshots

Marched with some friends and the PIO peeps. We took a screenshot together before some of them had to leave early.

I switched to Corrupted Kudu in the middle of the march. He was very suspicious seeing Zojja (played by @ratasum) but no time for hostilities at pride.

I do headcanon Kudu is a trans man. Lore wise only female asura have vowels at the end of their name. Kudu has a female name because he liked it too much to change it.

I don't play Guild Wars 2 much anymore but I always look forward to pride. See you all next year! <3

My computer can barely handle GW2 anymore as I take forever to load into the game and I lag so bad with large groups, but I couldn't miss Tyria Pride. I barely took any screenshots at the beginning because I was busy chatting with old friends I hadn't seen in forever. Good to see you all again! <3 See you all again for day two!

I ended up in the map that started way late, so half of Lion's Arch was running through the city to catch up to the other maps. It wasn't a pride march. It was a pride run, haha!

It was nice to be back. I miss this game. Still surprised how many familiar faces I see every year. See you all next year! Stay safe and happy pride!

I haven’t been active in GW2 in months, but I wouldn’t miss this event for the world. Thank you GW2 community for hosting this every year. No other MMO has such a supportive community and a place I can feel safe being who I am. It is truly something special.

Spent this day of pride with both old and new friends! It was wonderful to see people I used to play with again, and invited a trans friend from the current MMO I am playing now to come and she had a ton of fun and gained a few levels on her new character, haha.

For now I am on hiatus from GW2. I am far too busy with another MMO for my free time, but hey, maybe someday I’ll come back. I know I’ll have friends if I do.

Tyria Pride Parade 2021 - Day 1 Screenshots

It’s good to be back in Guild Wars 2. I haven’t played in so long, but I’ve been to every Tyria Pride Parade and I wouldn’t miss this event for the world. <3

I did miss how pretty this game is. These screenshots, despite the massive lag and crashing twice, turned out wonderful!

It’s so nice to see the loving community I knew years ago is still around and terrific as ever.

Oh boy did my computer cry and crash twice for having max graphics on for these screenshots but worth it!

Second day of the march from Lion’s Arch to Gay Rat City Rata Sum. On our way we found some homophobic Ettins that tried to block our parade from completing!

But that didn’t stop us!

Thank you so much everyone that made it to Tyria Pride. This is an event I look forward to every year and by far my favorite GW2 event. I always leave these with warm fuzzy feelings, happy to know there so many other LGBT+ people out there like me.

Tyria Pride is an event I love every year but I have to say this day was the best one I had. I got to march with a bunch of friends in our own little squad. Shoutout to @sparkyopteryx @elisketching @rata-whitz @radioactivesoda-gw2 @adurolobe @ependadrawsguildwars2 and two others in our squad I don’t know your tumblrs (please tell me yours)! I also saw more friends along the way!

Thanks again to @opencommunity for organizing the event. From this gay trans man to everyone in this game, LGBT+ and allies, thank you for making this game community the best I’ve ever been in!

Oh man, it was so so hard to narrow all the screenshots I took down to just ten for this photoset. I have to add a bonus screenshot of all of us visiting Sya, a canon trans woman NPC in game.
