Basically there was some suspicious activity in a smaller, more out-of-the-way part of Octaria called Octo Outcrop (big enough for a few kettles, including a Boss Kettle, but too small for more than one Sector), and Cap'n Cuttlefish was going to bring Harbor with him to do an in-depth sweep of the area, but Harbor caught a nasty stomach bug a couple days before they were going to head out, and instead of grabbing one of the other agents for it he got the idea to use it as a chance to do some 1-on-1 bonding with Meggy for a few days (in terms of the timeline this is somewhere between the Anime and Youtube Arcs, so Meggy's had time to get used to Paige being part of the NSS but she still doesn't know most of them all that well yet).

It actually goes well enough that Craig offers to make her an actual Agent, but she declines since she's already got a lot of her own stuff going on between whatever the Crew gets up to on any given week, training to fulfill her promise to Desti and win the TWT, and the fact that she's still in the process of recovering from Anime Island. But she does end up agreeing to help out every so often like she did here.

Also the suspicious activity turned out not to be a new Octarian Plot, but rather the Octarians reacting to a different villain's plot. Doctor Pootis (that one evil scientist from the older videos who's a buff version of Lord Crump from Thousand Year Door with TF2 Heavy's voice) was stealing some of their technology and combining it with some other tech he stole from E. Gadd (namely some early FLUDD prototypes) to create an army of robots with ink-based weaponry and Inkfish-like abilities called Guzzlers. Meggy managed to take out all but one of them, which abandoned its creator and ran off to who-knows-where, and she and Cuttlefish managed to capture Pootis and decided to let the Octarians have him since he was captured on their turf and he had been causing trouble for them specifically.

buck's jeep supporters are earnestly supporting that thing in the name of symbolism and jeeps being fun and cool and whatever. whereas it's not about "liking" or "supporting" eddie's fuckass truck it's understanding that it's embarrassing and annoying and beautiful GMC product placement and loving it anyway because eddie bought it for himself with tens of thousands of dollars in awesome blood money while experiencing horrors and curses beyond belief. i don't think we are the same.
