I don't put a lot of stock into social media interactions as indicators of closeness but then as one of your anons rightly mentioned - the members are also co-workers and public figures who have a responsibility (kind of) to keep up an image of ot7. Given how vocal almost all of them have been about returning as a team in 2025… how does that tie in with the perceived lack of closeness and basic congratulations (on SM) for vmin?

Wouldn't there be some kind of hesitancy from v and Jimin if such a possible lack of closeness existed? Especially since they've been very loud about their friendship/soulmate status and it maybe does hurt on loosing friendships (or maybe not loosing but cooling down of) ..

Also I haven't been here in the fandom for a long time (less than a few months frankly, so maybe my opinions are not that well formed or accurate) but is this lack of closeness something that has been observed by you since some time or is it a new development?

It's a new development for me tbh. For some people they think there has always been something shady going on with Vmin. Like when V said Jimin likes men at a radio station, something that had the potential to go really bad if Jimin hadn't been quick witted with his reply. "I don't like you." But that could be chalked to immaturity and the fact that BTS did not have mouth filters back then. I mean, can u imagine 2023 BTS admitting they watch porn?

Coz I sure can't. The bigger they got the more careful they had to become.

I would go as far as to say he was taken aback. As we all know Jimin is sensitive with the weight topic. So some people think V should have known that. But as usual Jimin diverted the situation and the interview continued.

But what if this was just their dynamic back then? Picking on eo? Like when every member was asked who they would introduce their sister to and they all said Jimin except V. And that other time Jimin was asked what he would do if he was king for a day he said he would make V his slave so he could stab him?? 😂😂 I can't remember exactly what he said but it was something along the lines of making V suffer. For soulmates they sure used to fight alot. 😂

I have always found them to be cute and adorable but even as u watch their early content u will notice V treats JK now the way he used to treat Jimin. He used to be all over Jimin, used to tell him I love u all the time, used to always choose Jimin, etc. But Jimin seemed to have put up some boundaries between them in recent years. If this has to do with JK, idk.

Because Jimin is not as touchy feely as he used to be... with all of them not just V. So this skinship part of things could be Jikook related. Yes I know he kissed Jhope on his birthday but I dare u to find JK "jealous" moments when it comes to Jhope. Real ones, not out of context ones. They are close to none. Very, very, few. JK doesn't have an issue with Jihope moments.

While we are on the topic have u guys ever noticed when Jhope hugs Jimin he turns his body so they're not hugging front to front but rather front to side?

So yes... I wonder what's Jikook related and what isn't. 🤔 maybe Hobi knows how JK can get? Idk. Just food for thought.

Anyway, I digress. Back on the Vmin topic. I honestly didn't see it as anything. Not even after Jikookers started having an issue with it. But now it's kind of hard to ignore. He really is doing it on purpose and I can't help but side eye him a little bit. U know?

But like u said, would Jimin want to come back as ot7 if there was animosity between them? I think from the latest ot7 content (Jhope BB) its safe to say there is no animosity.

I'm not sure i answered your question but I'm not the best person to ask this. Because I didn't have an issue with this until I saw he keeps doing the same thing over and over without fail.

But I still maintain my stand that I hold nothing against the man as long as Jikook continue to be okay with him. And that seems to be the case rn. So if Jimin and JK don't have an issue with V, neither do I. Haters will always hate no matter what. But I can and will listen to other Jikookers who have an issue and I do see where they're coming from.

These two kind of end up being the power couple of Fairy Tail? Nobody expected it but their relationship is much less dramatic and more stable than most.

These two are both loyal lovers whose love language is favors and acts of service. They have to do relatively little speaking in order to understand each other and their affections.

Laxus has so much pride in Gray. Back in the Battle of Fairy Tail, he was calling the guy a loser. By the time Gray stalked off to go kill Mard Geer, Laxus was like "I can't not date him".

They can commonly be found touching each other in small ways--arms around shoulders, usually, but also heads on shoulders or in laps, or even just holding hands occasionally. The casual PDA isn't too dramatic, but it's consistent.

This is because of the way their magics interact. A lot of people are surprised that a guy like Kiryu could be into guys, but honestly Kiryu is the type of man to put more importance into who someone actually is instead of their gender or their genitals. He's been on dates with hostesses who were actually lesbian and has a pretty good understanding of homosexuality and has a pretty neutral approach to sexuality. He won't really slap a label on himself. If he thinks you're a good person, then he thinks you're a good person He's straightforward like that.

Having said that, Kiryu never really expected to date a man who is also a hostess. Honestly, Kiryu didn't expect to date anyone anyways given the fact he's taking care of a lot of kids and that he always gets caught up in stuff with the Tojo Clan. Perhaps that lack of expectation is what makes him so open to dating a man though.

Kiryu isn't a super jealous person because he's very mature but he's not immune to the possibility. Given how popular you are as a host, you'll be out on after hours dates, doing escorts, and working a lot of shifts. Don't get it twisted, Kiryu is proud of you and supports you, but he can't help but feel a little jealous on nights where you're out rather late with a client.

In regards to the Pewdiepie thing: Can't a joke be funny even if the content it was about isn't? Like obviously the holocaust is no joke but a joke about the holocaust is. Not sure where the line needs to be drawn, I've seen some jewish people not care about the joke and some who were upset but understood it was a joke. There are others who are taking it seriously though and they have a right to be upset. But the entirety of the video was made to be satirical. In the end it was just a joke.

tbh it baffles me when people point out Um u know it was a joke :) like yes, literally everyone is aware that it was intended to be a “joke.” nobody is really disputing that fact. the issue is whether it was a good joke or the sort of humor that people ought to support. when u point out that pewdiepie was Making a Joke ur rly not pointing out anything new my guy. and it carries the implication that since it was a “joke” we can no longer criticize it. 

but!! guess what!! we can criticize jokes. jokes dont exist in some kind of Elevated plane of reality where they have zero impact on us, how we think and the ideas that we find acceptable. ppl who claim that smth is just a joke so others shouldnt get angry seem to be under the impression that humor is Always beyond critique and also that humor is completely separate from how we conceptualize the world around us. any kind of interaction exists and can never be separate from societal context and this applies to jokes too. jokes exist in context and jokes and Understood and interpreted based on the context surrounding their core ideas. saying that u can take jokes out of social context is pretending u can take the Social part out of social interaction. u cant.

but its not!! humor Affects how people think!! in the same way any sort of interaction does. when u go around making antisemitic jokes (or any sort of bigoted joke really) u Normalize the ideas behind them. whether or not /you/ believe the idea in all sincerity, people who Do believe it will hear it and say yeah u know what!! me too!!

humor is so often use as a tool to relate to people and u cant take this component out of it. thats why so many jokes function on the basis that “its funny because its true.” that is the central aspect to So much humor out there- hence why you have a thousand and one comedians up there on stage complaining about how they never get laid or whatever. obviously this isnt the only kind of humor that exists but a Large part of many jokes are: taking a relatable story on concept and framing it in a way that makes you laugh.

thats why bigoted jokes aren’t good to make. ur using a style of interaction that is so often meant to communicate “this is funny bc it is true” and then positioning the bigoted idea as True. you can claim that its clearly meant to be over the top or Obviously too absurd to be taken seriously but?? when u have a significant portion of people who genuinely believe this?? its Not absurd?? its not over the top?? when u make bigoted/ “offensive” jokes, ur literally acknowledging that ur borrowing from lines of thoughts that have been Widely Held to create systems of oppression and then u pretend that repeating them wont somehow help uphold these systems.

if u really wanna make something absurd say Death to All Plutionians- thats absurd and it has zero basis in reality and zero impact on any person. but when u use jewish ppl who Are the victims of hate crimes and u use the rhetoric Unironically Dealt towards them?? thats not too Over the Top thats something with an Actual Basis in Reality. if u want something to read as Satire it cannot parallel exactly what nonsatirical statements sound like otherwise ur just creating content that will be consumed as nonsatirical.  you trivialize the actual antisemitism that people face and pretend its nonexistent. whereas people are out there getting hurt by antisemitism, u turn the ideas that hurt them as a Funny Joke with no basis in reality. you cant say ur mocking the people that actually think that if ur just parroting exactly what they say like ?? the line is pretty simple: dont shit on people who have been historically shit on and still face oppression for that aspect of their identity. dont cater ur content to bigots.doubly so if ur a rich white dude living comfortably paying poor brown kids to say offensive shit and laugh at how far they will go for money?? like i mean even How he chose to express this in the first place is questionable as fuck. 

this is doubly important for pewdiepie who has an audience. hes not some guy in a room talking to himself and only himself, he has Millions of people out there listening to him so to a Reasonable Extent youve got to be responsible for what u say. this is something he put out Specifically for his audience too so like!! when u put content out there, be prepared to have people interact with it and use it. you can say that its not their Intent, but u take responsiblity  for ur actions that hurt ppl even if its not ur Intent (which is why we apologize to people if we accidentally step on their foot). to note, even if some antisemtic people dont yet think something as Extreme as what he said, ur tending to the seeds of antisemitic thought in them. some antisemitic person who thinks “yeah u know i dont want them to die but i dislike them” will have the Core Concept of that thought validated, even if its being expressed in a more extreme sense. a lot of humor is also about taking concepts that are relatable at their core and blowing them up so they are easily read. youre normalizing the unacceptable. 

like picture this- if u punch someone in the face and then say Its a Joke, its Satirizing people who punch others, is this is any way acceptable?? would u expect the person u punched to not be angry?? literally any person can see that that is absolutely ridiculous and the same is true for statements u say. dont punch people in the face and expect them to laugh.
