i decided a canvas size of 64x64 wasn't going to cut it for something as detailed as the dai-guns so i bumped it up a lil to 96x96 except well. they're not fitting in that horizontally either. point is though. they're big! the biggest i've made as of yet, and it was a fun challenge. i'll do the rest of the dai-guns at this size and will purrobably even make some even bigger sprites on top of that. exciting! *collapses*

I’ve watched the eighth episode of “Gurren Lagann” and WOW. This episode got me. They’ve raised the lath almost too high I can’t imagine the next episodes if they’re going to be at least half as good as this one. Logically, after the previous episode, this one should have started with a great fight, and it almost did, but… (Spoilers!) It started with relationship development – Kamina and Yoko kissed. And Simon saw it and can’t get this scene off his head. Then: a great fight a lot “our” Gunmen and a lot of beastmen’s Gunmen and their Dai-Gunzan. The plan was to make Simon and Gurren fuse with the giant Gunman but his full concentration is needed for it and he thinks about Yoko, but the Kamina comes and hits him in the teeth and it surprisingly works. Nevertheless, Kamina almost was killed (it was very dramatic) and Simon became devastated until Kamina stands up and hits him again. Then, they fuse into Gurren Lagann and defeat the former Dunzan’s owner… and Kamina dies. I mean they really killed Kamina. What are they going to do now?! How’s this series even going to survive without him?! I refuse to understand it. I never thought that a mecha-anime with stupid jokes and pathos can make me cry, but it did. I did cry at the beginning of the episode when they all went together in the beginning and I cried ten times harder when Kamina died.

Whenever this kind of post comes up, I always think of the time being accidentally spoiled for a show I was watching made the show more intense.

Spoilers ahead for Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

You see, I had only just started watching the series, which had been out and finished for a while, and did as I usually do and took a look at the TV Tropes page. But I forgot to hit the switch to turn off spoilers.

So when I found that the Mighty Kamina-sama was going to die from the Battle of Dai-Gunzan, I was a bit chilled. Kamina is an amazing character, and he was going to die?

But I continued watching. And when Team Gurren first encounters Dai-Gunzan in episode 7, I started to get tense. Was it going to happen here?

It didn’t.

Then episode 8. The real Battle of Dai-Gunzan. Three times, Kamina gets knocked down, and I panicked every time. But he got back up, and relief washed through me. Until those fateful words.

“Later, Buddy.”

That whole thing hit so much harder because I knew what was coming, but didn’t know exactly how or when it would happen. Having had it spoiled didn’t ruin the show for me, it made it better.

So if a piece of media says “no spoilers! You’ll ruin the experience!” then it makes the whole thing a bit less to me. Because if knowing what’s going to happen makes it less enjoyable, then there’s no rewatch value. So what would be the point of getting it to watch again?

I'd rather have a thousand "OHMIGOD WE WERE RIGHT!!!" theory confirmed moments where due to good storytelling and foreshadowing the audience was able to figure out parts of the future plot than just one more stupid twist that makes no narrative sense to avoid being "predictable".

If people knowing anything about your plot spoils the show entirely maybe it's just no good lmao.

It's not worth ruining your narrative themes and character integrity just so everyone is shocked. Sometimes twists that have been guessed .... Are better.

🏴‍☠️—THE INTERIOR LAYOUT OF THE DAI-GUN ENGANN:

   Much of the interior of the ship was assembled according to the Chouginga’s archived files of the Dai-Gurren (or rather, the Dai-Gunzan) constructed within its Ganmen production bay. Its interior reflects bold shades of color, with chrome or metallic accents. The quarters and cabins, in particular, are customizable to their occupants’ preferences

   The “Crew Quarters,” indicated by category 9 - is a bunkhouse for those who don’t need a lot of personal space or prefer a simple sleeping arrangement. Nonetheless, the bunk beds there are sizeable enough to accommodate even the tallest and broadest among the crew.

  Avant chose to eschew a cabin of his own, and instead shares Simon’s Commander’s Cabin. Simon, out of deference and affection for his veteran star-sibling, brought in a katana rack for Avant’s weapon, and allows him relatively free reign over the space they share. However, Simon also ensured that the cabin be arranged as comfortably as possible, just in case his beloved Nia ever decided to join in on the seafaring adventure.

Hey I'm really sorry if this seems like im pressuring you but im wondering if the proofreading on the gurren lagann game is going well and if it's close to completion, again, no rush, i just really wanna know cause im super excited about it and if youve given up on it i completely understand and i wont hold it against you. im just really curious.

Hey! No worries, it’s always lovely to hear that there are people out there waiting on patches, it makes it all feel worthwhile 😊

As far things on my side are concerned, the work is finished! I’ve translated, proofread and playtested everything, but I wouldn’t want to release it without knowing that someone else has seen it through to the end to make sure that both the patch works correctly and that the translation makes sense.

Although there were a few people who were interested in proofreading/playtesting the game (for which we are really grateful!), we decided to limit it to one playtester to hopefully reduce the amount of time the project was stuck around in this ‘almost ready’ stage. Enter TheSeventhCrusader! 

They’ve been doing a great job, but unfortunately life has been getting in the way of progress recently, as it often does. Proofreading is currently at chapter 18/51, or the attack on Dai-Gunzan to give you a plot reference. 

I admit that I’ve found it a bit frustrating to be so close and yet so far as well, but our philosophy at the AGT is that it’s better things take the time they need instead of trying to rush out something that we're not happy with. And so far, with TheSeventhCrusader sharp eye and keen wit, I think it’s definitely something that’s worth waiting for 😄

Though, like all my projects, if it gets to a certain length of time without any activity, I will share the work somewhere so that the progress is not lost and can be picked up by someone else. (On a random note, I also maintain a list of all the unfinished NDS translation projects which have some sort of release that could be picked up from, if it’s of any interest!)

Child - During Nimato's age of 8, he had been supporting a red silk headband, he wore a ragged red shirt with slight ripped edges, baggy brown pants, and barefooted.

Teenager - During his teenage years, Nimato wore a dark blue buttoned up shirt, black sweatpants and black combat boots. He was lucky to be wearing clothing like these because he grew up in the Spiral Capital and he was even luckier that he taken in and raised by a beastmen. Under his clothing is a human body, only having having an arm and his two legs made of metal because of his arms being cut off by a gunmen, even though he's part gunmen, he can't really survive an onslaught of another gunmen direct attack, but thanks to the augmentation, he's tough to defeat. After joining Team Dai-Gurren, he only changed one thing about himself, only opening his buttoned up shirt for more relief, he also wore his red headband.

Adult (01) - After the years of peace and tranquility, Nimato had also left the city along with Yoko, he did not want to take the affairs of "politics and governments." He wears a dark blue t-shirt with a black robe, black jeans and blue sneakers. He kept wearing a red headband ever since he reunited with Yoko, nothing has happened just yet between the two but they are together.

Adult (02) - When reunited with Team Dai-Gurren, the male wears the same clothing he wore when he was a teen, although now he has fully functional and humanized arm and legs.

[ History ]

Since the day he was born, both his mother and father had died in some disease while he was saved by the Littner Village Leader so that meant he had no parents to look up to for any guidance yet he wasn't lonely since there was only one girl who had stayed with him for many years to come and a fatherly figure, but that was until he had reached the age of 8, there was a mission that needed the males of the village, even boys, to go defend the village from the gunmen who tried to kill any humans on the surface. Just when Nimato went to go say bye to Yoko, she actually hugged him and was crying, fear that she would lose him, though he still left after a terrible goodbye and that three years have passed, no results, that must've meant that he was dead. Sadly, the life of Yoko had been lived alone but somewhere on that earth, Nimato was barely alive and he had taken shelter in a Spiral City where he was raised by Beastmen for nearly 8 years, though in that time, Nimato was transformed but it was for his own good since when he arrived at the town, he was surviving through sheer will power that he had lost a few limbs, he also lost alot of blood that he had to go through cyborg modification which was a prototype of surgery since they had no one to test it on. Though pretty much the only thing that needed to be altered was his arm, legs, now he has an robotic arm and legs while having a core to generate energy for his body, he hasn't forgetting the true friend he was raised with, but now he was very far from seeing her ever again. But during that time he was sided with the Beastmen and actually became a General for the Spiral King, three years within the seven years of service, Tylimpf and Viral told Nimato that a certain gang of humans had been out of their underground home, the brunette didn't care until they pushed his buttons by saying the Gurren Lagann gang had sack and ravage a village known as Littner Village, that twisted his mind that Yoko could've been killed by them, right away he went along with Tylimpf and Viral to go destroy this gang, but only until they arrived to find the Gurren Lagann gang waiting for them to arrive. Nimato looked upon the deck of the Dai-Gunzan to see a tiny red gunmen with a bigger gunmen though nothing in size compared to the moving fortress, Dai-Gunzan, Tylimpf's custom Gunmen, he got off the deck to feel the dirty ground and looked ahead of them, there his eyes widen when he sees a girl with a lock of red hair, he growled softly as he walked over to the leg of the giant Dai-Gunzan and he used a destructive force to push back the Dai-Gunzan, he was now feeling anger due to the Beastmen lying to him, he ran over to the other side at such a speed for the human eye to see, though he stopped in front of Yoko and saw her straight up, from that moment, he took off his goggles to put on his signature red headband while smiling softly, there the two had finally reunited from such a long time span.

[ Abilities ]

Matter Creation - By using Spiral Energy, the pilot can make anything out of the energy. In this case, the cyborg uses the Spiral energy in the arms and legs in order to make something.

Giga Drill Break - A finishing move that Kamina and Simon have created, by forcing all the Spiral energy he can gather around him, he places all of it into his left arm that he pumps into the air, the hand forms into a drill which expands in both length and width, the average amount of weight he could handle from it is exactly 300 pounds, Nimato then runs at the enemy gunmen before he jumps into the air, using rocket like legs that launches him straight through the enemy. He also yells out the move word by word.

[ Equipment ]

Spiral Cube - A small cube was created after he visited a village that were the best at making mechanical things. He made it using the robotic parts from his arm and legs which he regenerated human body parts using the Spiral energy he kept sealed off. Since he barely knows how to use his new body parts correctly, crushing the cube would result him sending his spiral energy into him. The cube can be used over and over again for many uses, like restoring lost Spiral energy or just needing a power boost for his gunmen.

[ Gunmen Explanation ]

Raiton-Ningu is a custom gunmen that was given to him as support for when he took on Team Dai-Gurren. It is a jet-black colored gunmen that seem to be very large as well, the gunmen has a large shield while also using a mini-gun. It has been used during the Teppelin Fortress battle although really been piloted by Yoko since Nimato wanted to assure that she was safe as he took the front lines. The gunmen also has an ominous mode that allows the gunmen to operate without a pilot, it could even communicate with the pilot as well, before the gunmen was fully functional, the boy decided to tinker with it to actually give it these options, it's only known that this gunmen is the first gunmen to have an "auto-pilot."

 In reality, He wasn’t so sure himself. He should have died. He knows he should have. Thymilph was nothing more than a pile of ash and scrap, Dai-Gunzan was theirs. Everything after that was a blur. All He remembered after that was waking up in the infirmary of the newly claimed colossal Gunman.

MTR: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!

ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER!!!!

(Warning: There will be language for this review and spoilers if you haven’t seen it yet!!!)

Alola! today is the day I tell you about my first anime and celebrate the 10th anniversary of this show. If you think I can’t do this on time Then !Who The Hell Do You Think I Am! This is Gurren Lagann!

I got into this anime like in my second year in middle school or in the middle of first year of middle school and it was awesome! I then watch every 27 episode, 2 movies, and some of the OVA they did. To tell you the whole anime in one post I’m gonna try to do like a fast story meaning I might skip some parts and tell about it still. So let’s Get our firing spirit rise and pierce through the heaven!!!!

It started long ago which was a Spiral War in space with people who ride these mechas know as Lagann's and Gunmans and to tell you it’s not Gundam the Gunman has their faces on their body and have no heads on top so the Lagann's are like the head for the mech. Later on many many many years past and humans are forced to live underground and beastmen's rule on top. This all change when a boy name Simon the digger founded a drill key which are use to pilot the Laganns. And his older brother or step brother...Blood brother Kamina...*sad sobbing* Wanted Simon help to get to the surface with his gang called Team Gurren but was top by the chief of the underground village who think it’s selfish. Till the ceiling  cracked open a gunman that is destroying their home and Kamina went to the mech challenging to fight it but suddenly everyone body pillow came who is Yoko the best sniper of her village. Simon lead them away from the gunman to show them another mech but it’s really small. The use the mech to beat the ad mech and got to the surface for the first time. Oh and Bota was there which he’s like Simon pet I think. When crash landing to the ground more bad gunman came which ended episode 1. Later on Kamina got his own gunman which he named Gurren and combine Gurren and Lagann to create Gurren Lagann when fighting Kamina rival Viral a beastmen who serve the spiral king. Moving on they decided to go straight to the Spiral ing to kick his ass and they made new friends along the way and more beastman that are hunting them down. When they got to the first General of the spiral King they wanted to take their gigantic battleship like mecha Dai-Gunzan. So they trap it and created Team Dai Gurren with more team mates to the team. At night they began an ambush by throwing rocks at them and this episode is the most saddest part. When Simon having his depression when he saw is wifu Yoko kiss Kamina causes him to go heartbroken so Kamina punch him out of it to get him on track wich work. But Kamina was attack by the general mecha which kills him making Simon going meltdown and beserk when he’s capturing the battleship. But turns out Kamina is like ok but is dying and he gave a beautiful speech to Simon which calm him down and ok. They then combine to Gurren Lagann and defeated the general with a GIGA....DRILL....BREAAAAAAAAAAKERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Like it’s a giant drill that kill the general with one shot! 

But after that...Kamina die which got everyones flames to go out and cause Simon to go a lone wolf.....When the capture the battleship they’re still seeing how to control it but are getting waves of gunman alot. Simon then goes in rampaging and destroying them like a crazy person stabbing a person alot and not stopping but was stop cause he been doing this alot he pukes and fell off the cliff with his Lagann. He then try to get back on track but suddenly saw a box thrown away and go and see what it is. Turns out to be Nia who has never seen the outside or surface or anything but she is like the most beautiful character that all the male character fall for and Simon new Wifu. Turns out Nia after she was save she turns out to be the Spiral King daughter which got everyone surprise and yoko think she’s a spy or something. They are later attack by 3 generals and their own battleship mechas too which ones does the sea other is the sky and the other one is the ground. (Before you say something Yes I’m doing the movie version because it’s quicker to tell the story). Before attacking turns out one of the general told Nia she’s abandoned by her father which got everyone shocked and anger and their spirit spark a little. Nia was then capture and is being broadcast live by a camera by one of the general showing this what happen if humans fight back but Simon spirit is on fire which he’s trying to get to Nia but was knocked out in the air. Last thing he remember from what Nia said “You can’t be nothing like your bro..” which reminded what Kamina said before he die “Don’t believe in the Kamina that believe in you Believe in yourself that's Believes in you!” Which then causes Lagann to come to him fast and save Nia. He then go to one of his friends Rossiu to combine to Gurren Lagann and take control of a flying gunman to give them the ability to fly now which makes it look even more AWESOME! He then said he’s back in town and his bro is still on his back and his heart and yelled out he’s Simon the Digger! And one shot one of the general with the same move his bro did which got everyone spirits fired up and come in the fight beating the enemy easy. Also this make Viral disappointed because he wanted to kill kamina but was shock he’s being beaten by Simon the whole time. The General and iral come together to do an all out attack to Dai Gurren but turns out they survived the blast giving an another awesome speech which turns out to be broadcasting live still this whole time which got everyone from underground village all fired up.

After that gigantic battle of Awesomeness! Nia has request Yoko for a haircut and return where they founded her to give the previous daughters of the Spiral King a better resting ground. When given a proper burial Simon gave his future wifu a green gem he founded when he was digging one day and this got Nia to love him more.  Then surprise Simon has become the new leader of Team Dai Gurren! Then they head off to the Spiral King fortress but they learn and found out the fortress is actually a bigger I mean like the biggest gunman that's bigger then their battleship!

So then this is one of their finale battle with everyone fsrom underground villages all over the place to come to them that created a huge army to go against the Spiral King army. this also sacrifice their battleship sword part to help Simon and Nia get to the Spiral King and fight him. Turns out the spiral king has a gurren lagann mecha too but looks like a beetle and the bottom has sharp teeth and a tail. It was then just Simon and the Spiral king hand to mecha combat and Simon finish him off by stabbing the core drill to his chest and twist it to let it shoot out a huge beam! His last word is that once many years past the end will end with the moon hitting Earth. The war as ended and now everyone can finally live in peace with beastmen too.

Now we’re are time skipped to liek many years where Simon is like adult or somewhere college age like 20 or something and he’s like the president of a new city. Team Dai gurren are now separated and some work with Simon. He then learned that there's a new threat now which is a weird 3d diamond ships which destroyed  almost the city which then made people worried more and see that Simon doing a bad job and Nia has disappeared and not seen since the attack. Rossiu learned that the moon is gonna crash to Earth that will destroyed everyone and everything on it. In other place Yoko is now a teacher to small kids which I guess 5th grade or something and the kids love her alot. But didn’t know the whole time she’s a badass sniper girl from history book the whole time when their school is attack by 2 gunman and Yoko just destroyed them easily with her sniper rifle and some hover motor bike. She then got a message about a ship Rossiu got which is called Arc Gurren and wanted to go to space. But now she decided to gather the whole team back together again for one last battle and also break Simon and Viral out of prison. Oh yeah Viral and Simon are cool now. Team Dai Gurren then goes to space to save everyone from a new enemy called the Anti Spiral. Simon and Viral then use Gurren Lagann to combine with the ship that has the living Spiral Kings head that Rossiu keep to know what's gonna happen later on so they combine and transform the giant space ship into Arc Gurren Lagann! And it goes to the moon which turns out to be yet another planet size gunman which turns out to be the Spiral King space battleship. When going inside to stop it Nia was there which turns out to be control by the Anti Spiral and sending Simon a message saying to save her. They stop the moon and head back to earth to prepared for another battle. But Simon heard that Rossiu is gonna committed suicide and comes in to stop him with one of his assistants who has a crush on him to slap him out of it. The team Dai Gurren changes to Super Galaxy Team Dai Gurren!!! When going to space they got trap into a sea like wave or something thats sucing them all in with the ship. In the movie only one person of the team die while the show killed like 7 of the cool characters so we’ll continue on but those guys are just so cool like come on why they must die!!! To stop this weird magnic thing to stop from the ship to be crush my the pressure of the air they have they must destroyed the magnetic thing which Kitan one of Kamina old rival after Viral  volunteer to sacrifice himself to destroy the magnet.Before he go he gave Yoko a kiss for good luck.....when they launch him they got the shield down but his gunman inside of a gunman got crushed and explode. This almost made everyone to lose hope but Kitan is still going which he borrowed one of Gurren Lagann broken drill for a good luck charm and for a good use. He has so much spiral energy inside of him he made the King Kitan GIGA DRILL BREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKER!!!!!!!!!! But when he destroy the magnet he also caused huge explosion which kills him too. *sad sobbing again* This then cause a huge amount of Spiral energy transferring to the Super Galaxy Dai Gurren which is enough to make it transform into Super Galaxy...GURREN LAGANN!!!!!

But the whole crew team fell into the Anti Spiral trap which take each person to another world which changes them and what they desire the most in their whole life for example Simon is a kid again with Kamina which they are robbing a bank so they can be rich and Yoko wanted to be the most famous women in the world like super famous at everything. But it didn’t work for everyone when the real Kamina came! Telling Simon he’s in an illusion that's not real and must remember who he really is and his drill will one day pierce the heavens. This got Simon back in track and turns out Kamina surprise how much he has grown and taller than him which got me in tears. This continues on with the others and Viral too who he’s having good time with his family from the past he use to have which made me really sad more. We’re now into the final episode of the anime where the rest of the tea finally found Nia and save her and are ready to fight the Anti Spiral dude. The amount of spiral energy causes the gurren lagann’s all together to created the most and number 1 biggest mecha in history! And to introduce it they do an awesome speech and called this universal size mecha...TENGEN TOPPA...GURREN LAGANN!!! JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE!!!!

It then showed an awesome fight between 2 universal size mechas fighting each other alot but learn the Anti Spiral race wanted to restart the whole thing over again to make things perfect but they don’t want that cause they say the human race will continue on working harder than ever to create a better future. Simon then aid that this drill will open the doors for those who fallen and those who follows and will one day pierce the heavens. This causes both to clash each other and the mecha of Gurren Lagann evolution lines to go to the Anti Spiral to destroy him  with only a Lagann with Lagann Impact. This causes a big bang but also causes the universe like every universe to combine together to created a whole new world. After all that they all went back to earth to celebrate and to get ready for Nia and Simon Weeding which is so beautiful to see. But turns out since Nia is an Anti Spiral she then disappeared like die after the wedding which got me so sad like made me cry. One of the member of the team thought he can bring her back to life but he’s not a god so he can’t use the spiral energy to bring people back to life. Simon then pass down the core drill to one of the Team super galaxy dai gurren member and walks off with Boota and the ring he gave to Nia never to be seen again........

You thought it’s over but it then shown what happen many years later again. It show Rossiu is the now president of the city, Yoko still teaching the kids at school everything,the new pilot of gurren lagann are ready to set off to see new worlds, and Viral is the new Captain of the Super Galaxy Dai Gurren. Now you wonder what Simon doing...He’s somewhere helping peoples problems and continuing Nias wishes which is to spread beautiful flowers across the land. He then meet a kid on a beach who has a drill wanting to drink a coconut but is hard for him to open it so he teach him how to use it properly. We then see how old Simon is now when he give a cool and last quotes of the episode.

What I think of this anime it’s just amazing to watch it all again. It’s good to see like my middle school days coming back to me and it’s just.....like the show is amazing and awesome the characters are great villains are good too and the ending is just wow.....the characters i love so much are just amazing and Trigger knows how to end some awesome animes that everyone love so much. And seeing Kamina, Kittan and everyone who die in the show are just it can get you to cry  for Kamina and Kittan that one we all didn’t see coming at first. Oh yeah if ya didn’t know or know this this anime is made by Triggers the same people who did Kill La Kill, Little Witch Academia, Panty and Stocking, Space Patrol Luluco, Ninja Slayer, Trigger Chan,and Kiznaiver. I would recommended for you to watch it if your into like giant mecha anime action type of shows. It will be my favorite top anime list and hope you all know it’s this show 10th anniversary today. I give this show 10/10!!! And row row fight the power guys and pierce the heavens with your drill!!! and one last thing... Don't forget. Believe in yourself. Not in the you who believes in me. Not the me who believes in you. Believe in the you who believes in yourself.....

I’ve watched the fifteenth episode of “Gurren Lagann” and I can only express my feelings with these two gifs:     

That’s sooooo cooool! The buildings are falling on our team, the biggest building appears to be a HUGE gunman driven by the Spiral King himself! Does that mean the final battle of the series happens in the middle of the season? NO. (Spoilers!) So, Gurren Lagann (Simon and Nia in Gurren and Rossiu in Lagann) goes to fight the King and others cover their back (and almost blow up the Gunzan). Inside the huge gunman, Viral tries to protect the King, but can’t and here we find out that the King made him immortal to tell the story of his triumph so, then the fight with the King and his gunman (of the same type as Gurren Lagann) begins. The King calls Simon – “a spiral boy” and talks with him about “the power of the spiral” and the end they end up fighting hand-to-hand and Simon kills the King using his bore. Before dying the King gives a frightening and misty prophecy about the future of the humankind. Well, now our heroes don’t think of it – now they come back to their friends with the victory. The announcement of the next episode is voiced by Kamina. I’m dead. I’m very dead! I cried at least three times during that episode and I understand that there would be more problems (there are twelve more episodes!) but right now I’m so happy for them!

🏴‍☠️—THE INTERIOR LAYOUT OF THE DAI-GUN ENGANN:

   Much of the interior of the ship was assembled according to the Chouginga’s archived files of the Dai-Gurren (or rather, the Dai-Gunzan) constructed within its Ganmen production bay. Its interior reflects bold shades of color, with chrome or metallic accents. The quarters and cabins, in particular, are customizable to their occupants’ preferences

   The “Crew Quarters,” indicated by category 9 - is a bunkhouse for those who don’t need a lot of personal space or prefer a simple sleeping arrangement. Nonetheless, the bunk beds there are sizeable enough to accommodate even the tallest and broadest among the crew.

  Avant chose to eschew a cabin of his own, and instead shares Simon’s Commander’s Cabin. Simon, out of deference and affection for his veteran star-sibling, brought in a katana rack for Avant’s weapon, and allows him relatively free reign over the space they share. However, Simon also ensured that the cabin be arranged as comfortably as possible, just in case his beloved Nia ever decided to join in on the seafaring adventure.

   Many of those aboard the Engann don’t have a biological obligation to sleep - but there are plenty of cabins and bunkbeds available for all crewmen and even a few guests, if the need arises.

After all this time, I never realized that the entire cockpit of Gurren extends outwards when it hits Dai-Gunzan and when Kamina is thrown out of it, or that Kamina’s cape is ripped off and pulled back inside when Gurren falls back down onto the deck.
