Note
No real cohesive ideas more a loose collection of thoughts.
Since losing her mother Keyleth also lost her connection to the land. When she turns 17 she decides to travel Tal'dorei hoping to rebuild that connection. She comes across a recently Briarwooded Percy. The two get along and decide to stick together. Keyleth is frustrated that she hasn't regained her magic and becomes interested in Percy's tinkering and by extension guns. Due to not being alone for as long Percy is a bit more social and trusting(if only to her) he starts teaching her about tinkering and eventually she makes her own.
Instead of The List's revolving design she instead goes for 4 normal single shot pistols that don't misfire as often. She named them after the Druidic words for Fire, Air, Earth and Water. She gets them corresponding enchantments.
I think that her aesthetic may be slightly different than canon. She would still favour greens and browns but I think she would wear thicker more protective clothing. All her canon designs have her arms exposed which might be a tiny hazard when your weapons explode from time to time. I think that I would basically be her TLOVM s1 design: green tunic, greenish-gray pants, tall boots but with a brown coat thrown on top. The coat also helps to conceal the guns and disguise which one she's reaching for.
Personality wise she would probably be the same but meeting Percy earlier and having him build her up as well as him trusting her with guns does a lot for her confidence. I mentioned this earlier but Percy also mellows out a bit. He still has a stick up his ass but having somebody else to live for instead of being alone for years makes the stick a bit less rigid.
I've been thinking alot about gunslinger! Keyleth, mainly just because I'd like to see keyleth with a gun and I think she deserves to have one
But alas I'm kinda terrible with au and au world building
So I wanted to know if you had any thoughts on if Keyleth was a gunslinger instead?
I'm sorry I really have no idea, I can't really picture that in my head. Maybe one of my followers has an idea?

My most, epic latest poster masterpiece yet for Onward to Critical Role
Short Summary: Ian and Barley Lightfoot from Disney/Pixar's 'Onward' woke up to find themselves in the middle of another world unlike their own filled with real fantasy magic and no modern technology while having no memory of how they got there. Little do they know that they've been dragged into Exandria, the world of 'Critical Role', and they'll have to work with a rowdy group of unlikely heroes known as Vox Machina to save it from dark forces...if they want to survive this strange, new world.
"Onward to Critical Role" relays the whole story of a crossover alternate universe where Ian and Barley Lightfoot landed smack dab in the world of Exandria and their adventures with Vox Machina and Mighty Nein in two separate campaigns coincide with the events of the 'Legend of Vox Machina' animated series and the upcoming 'Mighty Nein' series to Laurel Lightfoot, Blazey, and even Corey the Manticore.
SYNOPSIS: The two teenage elf brothers - Ian and Barley from Disney/Pixar's 'Onward' - are back! This time, swords and sorcery just get real as they landed smack-dab in the middle of Exandria, the world of 'Critical Role' that exists in the Material Plane full of real magic, real epic adventures, and real wizards, bards, real fantasy and beyond...and no modern technology in this new hypothetical Crossover Alternate Universe (CAU) timeline that explores what would happen if the events of Disney/Pixar's 'Onward (2020)', Critical Role's animated series 'The Legend of Vox Machina (2022)' and its upcoming animated 'Mighty Nien' series occurred differently.
(This crossover alternate universe and timeline takes place after the events of 'Onward' and into the events of 'The Legend of Vox Machina', and the rest will be within the animated series itself)
The whole story of this new hypothetical crossover AU unfolds as it is being told to Laurel Lightfoot, Blazey, and even Corey the Manticore who join (or crash) story time by providing some input on their perspective of major events.
In another time and another place, this crossover alternate universe is being observed in which takes place after the events of Disney/Pixar's 'Onward' where life is still full of magic and wonder for Ian and Barley Lightfoot in the suburban city of New Mushroomton after their epic, extraordinary journey to bring back their late father. Now the Lightfoot brothers became closer together than ever and they can't wait to see what new adventures will bring as they are ready to explore a world full of wonder together. But during another ordinary day, everything around them began to twist, turn, and swirl around them when fate had other plans. They woke up to suddenly find themselves magically thrown into another world unlike their own filled with real fantasy magic and no modern technology.
Little do they know that they've been dragged into Exandria, the world of 'Critical Role' that exists in the Material Plane full of real fantasy and beyond.
But getting back home won't be so easy as Ian and Barley. As they explore and investigate their bewildering, new surroundings while adjusting to it since they can't go back to their own world, Ian and Barley tried to play out their part and make sense of this strange new world since this may or may not be unlike anything similar to Barley's favorite historically role-playing board game, Quests of Yore.
There, amidst a sea of seriousness and crazy bar fights, Ian and Barley accidentally got involved and allow themselves to be joined by an unlikely band of rowdy and ragtag heroes, misfits, and adventurers-turned-mercenaries for hire known as Vox Machina -- comprised of twin half-elf siblings, Vex'ahlia and Vax'ildan; charming gunslinger Percival "Percy" Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III; clever cleric Pike Trickfoot; half-elf red-headed druid Keyleth; gnome bard Scanlan Shorthalt; goofy goliath barbarian Grog Strongjaw; and the twins' giant grizzly bear, Trinket.
At first, Ian was a bit off by the wild behaviors of this rowdy group, but he and an excited Barley chose to do what they can to help save Exandria and restore justice from the evil destruction of dark magical forces, terrifying power couples, and even a group of not-so-friendly dragons...if they want to survive this strange, new world despite all the epic dangers, magical surprises, comedic fun, and even the heartwarming romance the two brothers experience in such an epic saga along the way.
But despite all the epic dangers, magical surprises, comedic fun, and even the heartwarming romance of such an epic saga in another world, will Ian and Barley ever make it back home to their own world in one piece? Or they aren't so sure anymore as their fate of being isekai'd and stranded in Exandria began to change...forever?
Then, after finally defeating all 5 dragons of the Chroma Conclave with Vox Machina, Ian and Barley thought they were about to be home-free after winning the whole quest...until they get dragged into yet another campaign when the Lightfoot brothers landed smack-dab in the continent of Wildemount, about 20 years AFTER the adventures of Vox Machina, where the tensions here are very higher in a war between two major powers and mightiest nations -- the Dwendalian Empire and the Kyrn Dynasty.
Now forced to starting anew, Ian and Barley eventually cross paths with yet another motley bunch group of colorful ragtag adventurers, criminals, and misfits based in Wildemount trying to find their place in the world of Exandria known as the Mighty Nein -- comprised of Caleb Widogast, a quiet human transmutation wizard weighed down by a shifty, tragic past involving the Soltryce Academy and the Cerberus Assembly; Nott the Brave, a young goblin rogue with enthusiastic energy and a penchant itch for borrowing things who used to be a human named Veth Brenatto until she was cursed by the hag named Isharnai, who made a deal with Beau's father; Jester Lavorre, a blue female tiefling cleric of the trickery domain of Nicodranas and daughter of a single working mom and the famed courtesan known as Ruby of the Sea named Marion, who is looking for her missing father - Babenon Dosal, aka the Gentlemen - while eating pastries and telling the world about her god, Artagan the Traveler, who only she can see and talk to him; Fjord, a green half-orc Hexblade warlock who was a shipwrecked sailor with a sword that gave him magical powers and weird dreams that are as mysterious as his past and its spooky underwater patron, the Great Laviathan known as Uk'otoa, while trying to guide the group to more diplomatic moments of life; Beauregard Lionett, a human female monk-turned-rebel who was part of a secret order of librarian spy monks looking for a cause that sometimes protecting her newfound family; Mollymauk Tealeaf, an ostentatious lavender tiefling blood hunter who leads a life of aimless debauchery and content to spread joy to all who might need it; Yasha Nydoorin, a female aasimar barbarian and worshiper of the Storm Lord who is terrifying on the battlefield while seeking redemption for a past she can't remember; and Caduceus Clay, the firbolg grave cleric and guardian of the Blooming Groove who turns out to be quite the comforting hot cup of tea the Mighty Nein needs to balance out their chaos crew energy.
The chance meeting sets into motion an epic saga yet again as Ian and Barley helps out the Mighty Nein face would-be gods on both land and sea and uncover the secrets behind a war between nations to prevent the world and the kingdom from plunging into chaos when the Luxon Beacon, a symbol of the Kryn Dynasty's god and an ancient arcane, artifact connected to the fabric of reality, falls into the wrong hands.
(Ian and Barley's second adventure in Exandria with Mighty Nein takes place after the events of 'The Legend of Vox Machina' Season 3 and into the events of the 'Mighty Nein' series)
In the tradition of the ending of Episode: Persona from BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Ian and Barley seem to think that they've returned back home to New Mushroomton...only for them to realize that the casts of Critical Role characters from both the Vox Machina and Mighty Nein campaigns have all show up - with any memories - reincarnated as New Mushroomton families, neighbors, citizens, classmates, and more, acting as though they've been a part of their world since before, during, and/or after remembering, much to Ian and Barley's surprise and confusion.
The inspirations and influences of the Onward/Critical Role crossover and its new hypothetical crossover AU timeline are:
Onward (2020)
Critical Role
The Legend of Vox Machina (2022) and the upcoming 'Mighty Nein' animated series
Scoobynatural
Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), Teen Beach Movie
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003): Fast Forward (Season 6)
Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob
The Super Mario Bros. Movie
DreamWorks' The Road to El Dorado
Jeff Smith's Bone
Dungeons & Dragons: The Cartoon, the classic TV show from the 1980s. (Including 'The Adventure Begins! (Dungeons & Dragons) (Little Golden Book)' and 'Dungeons & Dragons: Saturday Morning Adventures')
Mufasa: The Lion King (2024) -- Just like how the origin story of Mufasa is being told to Kiara, the crossover AU story of Ian and Barley's adventures with Vox Machina and Mighty Nein in two separate campaigns in the world of Exandria is being told to Laurel Lightfoot, Blazey, and Corey the Manticore.
The crossover fanfics of... - "Frozen Turtles" by Iron117Prime - "The Owl and the Frog" by ChampionElCid - The crossover stories by Hero Central/AlexMontyArt that involved heroes from one continuity end up in a different world of another, including "The Avengers: The Avatar Saga", "Ben 10 & She-Ra: Heroes of Power", and "Sonic and Ariel"

Vox Machina: Superheros AU
I’ll expand and edit this once I have the time too but for now it’ll just hold my main ideas for this. This is a darker take on super heros and stuff like that! Feel free to suggest ideas for this AU as well! I’d love to hear it!
Vex aka The Huntress (or aka The Dawn Ranger): Great aim with a bow, excellent tracker, great at reading animal behaviors. (later works with [insert company name that Allura basically runs :’3)
Trinket aka (idk, I’ll figure it out later): Mutated hound can make himself bigger and more bear like, heightened strength and senses.
Vax aka The Dark Champion (or aka Deathwarden? idk): Excellent at stealth and gymnastics, typically good at reading body language, fast runner.  later works with [insert company name that Allura basically runs :’3)
Pike aka (Idk don’t have a name yet):  Chosen/blessed by her god and given ability's to help others and protect things connected to the goddess. (already works in Allura company, same with grog)
Grog aka Barbarian (or a better name idk): by birth has always been strong and just kept getting stronger (have an actually story idea for this but I’ll type it at a later date.)
Percy aka Orthax aka Gunslinger (will come up with better replacement for gunslinger name later: Due to horrific experiments done to him by the Briarwoods he can now turn himself into smoke and move around as it and can also withstand hotter and colder temperatures. (Him and Keyleth are the last to join the rest of Vox Machina in Alluras company)
Scanlan aka The Performer: He has the same magics as a magician basicly but a fair bit stronger, but he doesn’t really fight with anyone and is a journalist before joining Allura and the rest of vox machina as their PR basicly.
Keyleth aka Tempest: Complete inspiration from the jurassic park novel (kinda) due to tragic events Keyleth can now turn into existent animals and dinosaurs tho they are all slightly altered in some way. (Her story I’m most excited to talk about but it is rather dark to fit with the theme of the horror novel her powers are getting inspiration from)
Main relationships: Vaxleth and Percahlia

first of all! congratulations on completing one for sorrow, that's an amazing accomplishment! second of all! I wanted to ask, which chapter or moment in particular was your favorite over all and which one was the hardest to write?
(also...sneak peek on what you have planned for the sequel 👀👀👀🥺)
Tumblr media
THANKYOUUU 💕💕💕
Favorite I think... hmmm, I'd say the Ripley fight + aftermath of Percy's first death - I had a lot of fun with the scenery (desert sand made glass at SUNSET!), how fast-paced it was, Vex's wings, and then that horrible twist to how Percy dies and all the emotional turmoil after. Tons of my favorite things together!
Hardest were the argument Vex and Percy had on the ship and that fight between Percy and the party at the end. For the first one, Vex initially did NOT want to admit to him why she had been avoiding him (given what Cass had said), but Percy was smart enough to notice she wasn't being forthright and felt hurt and frustrated as a result. @soul-of-sin (<333) suggested I reframe it to be more about Vex struggling with having someone really important to her being dead (Grog was only dead briefly) for the first time in a while and confronting that loss and fear. Then Vex blurted out the truth a lil later in the conversation anyways, so! It worked out <3
For the final fight... @rightpastnowhere helped me with this one <333 I had so much to juggle
Percy and Scanlan initially kept getting very pissed far too quickly. Trying to steadily ramp up to the point of shitty things being said was hard.
I wanted to minimize how much each twin was speaking - Vax because he's trying not to intervene and just ease the process, Vex because she’s in shock and every time she DID speak I wanted Percy to react immediately...
Which lead to Percy needing to carry a lot of this convo on justifying himself, which he keeps using as a shield that the twins could usually dart around more easily, but Keyleth and Grog struggle to.
Underlining how this was different to what Pike does on the regular was hard for Percy to spit out and thus me vjvjvjvj
It might be hard to tell, because Scanlan, but managing him was also testy because he *knows* what Percy's feeling, because he was considering leaving too. But he wanted to leave both for his daughter and because VM always sidelined his needs, when they mended that issue in this AU and have consistently always dropped everything for Percy and Whitestone. Percy making it about Whitestone and not the young woman that needs him had him very angry (But that doesn't solve the Kaylie/Cass side of things - Scanlan still wants to be there for her and respects Percy for being there for Cass... even if now there's no chance in hell Scanlan can do the same for a bit bc Percy fucked it up so bad).
Keyleth's first reaction was to want to help him, and then she's really floundering and hurt because her best friend is dismissing her responsibilities as unimportant.
Finding a way to lead into the relationship convo at the end from all this was tough too.
It was a lot! But I think I pulled it off well enough, if perhaps lacking the punch Bard's Lament did. Not bad for a Gunslinger’s Lament, though ;p
Now... a sneak peek after all that;
“You there!”
Vex pauses, hand on the doorknob to the Debt’s Respite. It whines when she removes pressure to glance at the source of the voice.
There’s a humanoid being, of metal and cold hard edges and scuffmarks and a placid sort of face, clutching a book.
Her first thought is oh, Percy would be besotted by this thing, and she stomps its head beneath her heel to glare at the armored man minding the machine. Gold gold gold, wearing his wealth on his sleeve quite literally.
Vex hates him on sight.
She spies everyone (bar her brother and the boy) catching up from the corner of her eye. “Oy?” Scanlan says, near her hip, and the glowing buffoon downright beams at the cast now assembled before him.
“You lot! Hello! Wow! Who are you all?” He gestures them up in down while his mouth keeps moving, eyes keep stomping all over them. “Look at this! Magical items from head to toe. Why, I've never seen anything quite like it.”
Bombastic and rehearsed, the mustachioed stranger describes the events to his construct before directing his attention back to Vox Machina.
“My friends just call me Tary-”
“We’re not your friends,” Keyleth points out lightly.
“- and I'm a bit of an adventurer. I've been traveling around this continent for a while, trying to tick off things off of my list, and I've had a few scraps and scrapes. And I'm looking for-”
“No.”
He pauses.
“What do you mean, little elf girl? You are denying the opportunity of a -”
“No.” Vex is in his face now, pointed chin a dagger to his throat. “We have things to do, and whatever fucking errand you’ll have us run isn’t worth it.”
He blusters. “I simply wish to accompany - to join you on the adventure that surely awaits! I - I can assure you, I have coin to spare to pay a retainer fee-”
“Don’t care.” Vex sees Keyleth’s jaw drop. “Vox Machina has a limit of one stupid boy to babysit at a time. Find someone with fucks to give.”
(There WILL be Tary, I love him my golden genius my mustachioed moron, but he doesn't join the party in Ank’Harel! Given he's so Sam a character - Scanlan dips later, when tensions have cooled, and then they run into Tary again. Vex, not being pissed as hell and missing *her* tinkerer, will actually give him a shot, then.)

Vox Machina and Mighty Nein roleswap AU, tho. HEAR ME OUT, it would be fun.
in this AU the Nein live in Tal'Dorei and VM live in Wildemount. either that or Emon is a more authoritarian empire and the Dwendalian Empire is just more chill and governed by a council.
VOX MACHINA:
Vex and Vax were long separated by their elven father and they only recently came across each other again. in a jail cell. under arrest for crimes. which they then set on fire so they could scurry on out of there. Vex is a little bit of a mess bc she went with their dad, and meanwhile Vax the village he lived in burn down bc of a war and has some Issues with fire as a result.
they adopt a bear cub along the way. baby bear cub plays a huge role in many of their cons.
Pike is a cleric of the Everlight, one of the permitted gods in the Empire, but she also is willing to look the other way re: non-permitted gods, bc faith expresses itself in different ways. she happens to be in town when the Fletching & Moondrop carnival drops in, and decides to go check it out.
Scanlan is absolutely a carnival promoter and has been working on the best act of all time for the circus. he's pissed off when the zombies happen. deeply so.
Grog is also carnival security and he and Pike fell out of touch a while back but when they see each other again it's like seeing a sibling you've missed for years. he lets her watch the show from his shoulders, and refuses to give anyone else the privilege.
Keyleth is a very sweet half-elven monk who was sent out into the world to learn more about it, and also comes from a place of privilege that sheltered her greatly before she entered the monk life. she's having a rough time now that she's out in the world, bc she's an awkward mess and also her view on things is fairly black and white. Vex flirts with her once and Keyleth spends the whole time blushing, but when the circus goes to hell she's one of the first to spring into action and fight.
Percy totally made a deal in a dream with a shady shadow monster so he could take revenge on the Empire-made nobles the Briarwoods who killed his family and then put out a bounty on his head. guns might have been invented years ago but he is very good at improving his guns. he runs into Keyleth and Pike in Trostenwald and decides to take up adventuring with them. he did not expect to take up adventuring with more people than just Keyleth and Pike. especially not with Cassandra?? he thought she DIED.
Cassandra died in a forest two years ago and came back with very little memory, and she picked up a job at the circus as the resident juggler. she is also very good at picking locks and bullshitting people. Scanlan is so proud of her.
"the days you're gonna have are the days that you're gonna have," says Vex, while they are on their way to the city.
"who the FUCK said that, that is STUPID," says Percy.
also: hospital heist, featuring Scanlan spewing vomit everywhere and getting tossed into a patient too, Vax tossing Trinket at some orderlies screaming MY BEAR IS DYING GET HELP and making a break for the office of a corrupt official's physician son, and no one getting the goddamn object of the mission like at ALL.
MIGHTY NEIN
Caleb and Nott have known each other for a long time and they are basically inseparable. they bicker like siblings and like to fuck with each other, but at the end of the day they will lay down their lives for each other. which is not great bc when Nott does die Caleb basically makes a deal with the Raven Queen to bring back his best friend.
also Caleb's family and village burned down in a fire too, but he was out for that time and came back, with an injured goblin girl in the equivalence of her early childhood, to see the whole place was just. gone. burned to ashes.
Yasha used to be a slave in the Nine Hells, but somehow clawed her way back up with the help of the Storm Lord. now she's traveling around with this group of assholes calling themselves the Mighty Nein for some godforsaken reason. then she hears about some weird shit going on and realizes that the demon that used to be her master is terrorizing a town along with his herd of minions.
Molly woke up buried in the dirt like two years ago and stumbled into Yasha's company, and he's just been her constant companion ever since. it is really weird seeing them together bc a more unlikely pair you will never see. also Molly's past splinter group of blood hunters took over a small town too and started experimenting, so that's fun, he's a little bit freaked out about this, what the fuck? what the actual fuck, past self?
Beau is a human from idk some magical order who just packed up and ran off bc fuck you, she doesn't WANT to be responsible for shit. the Nein found her in a jail cell for disturbing the peace and starting a bar fight and the first thing she does is flirt with Yasha. she might have magic and shapeshifting abilities but you'd never know it from the way she uses her staff to just hit people over the head.
Fjord made a deal with a god after some shit went down at sea and a mutiny happened and he nearly drowned. he invented guns right after that dream, and feels kind of terrible about that but there's something he has to do with them first, before he can hang them up. he and Jester meet first, and they have a Spark.
Jester is a cleric from Nicodranas! she says that almost every time they meet someone for the first time, bc she hopes one day someone will say, "you're Jester, from Nicodranas? I know your father!" she and Fjord met the slowly-coalescing Nein after Fjord got kidnapped by some weird dude who wanted to become a lich and needed a sacrifice to do it, and she went to get help from experienced adventurers.
Molly and Caleb keep dancing around each other for a while, Molly keeps flirting with Caleb and Caleb is just the most awkward in receiving these comments, and it doesn't help that Molly just flirts with a lot of people. he even has this thing going with the shopkeeper Gilmore! and then he ends up actually falling in love with Caleb which is all kinds of inconvenient for all involved, and then tragic later on.
Fjord goes on a gunslinging rampage with his pajama flap down and Jester has the time of her life.

I keep getting ideas for fanfictions/AUs that I’ll never write, so here’s another one.
it’s a reverse AU of critical role, where Vox Machina are evil and some of their villains are a heroic party. I have solid ideas for the Briarwoods, and decent ideas for Ripley, Raishan, and Hotis. I also want to have Orthax, but i’m not sure what exactly I want him to be.
more under the cut, let me know what you think!
so when Sylas was sick, Delilah ended up in Vasselheim and somehow earned Ioun’s gaze. she told Delilah how to cure Sylas, and Sylas ended up as either a Cleric or Paladin of Ioun. Delilah is still a wizard, but probably not Necromancy (I was thinking Evocation).
for Anna, she’s still be a gunslinger. she got word somehow of Whitestone’s technological advances, and went to talk with them. the De Rolos liked her a lot, but it turns out they’re a coven of vampires and wanted her to join them. she escapes with Orthax’s help. I’m thinking Orthax is either some guardian entity, or some sort of fey creature.
Raishan was part of an adventuring group with the rest of the Chroma Conclave, but they disbanded after their cleric (Brimsythe) died. she kept adventuring, and eventual ran into Anna. I’m thinking either Druid or Sorcerer for her.
Hotis is a Teifling who lived in either Dis or the City of Brass. he was either born or was somehow infected with lycanthropy, and became a weretiger. he’d be a Blood Hunter to utilize this.
I kinda want a 7th member to match Vox Machina, but I’m not sure who I want. Vecna is probably still evil, or not in the picture. Saundor or Clarota are options.
~
now for Vox Machina, Percy and his family are vampires as mentioned above. They live in Whitestone still, but after Anna escapes, word gets out that they’re vampires and the Briarwoods offer to help rescue the town. they come with an army and manage to kill all the vampires but Percy and Cas. in retaliation, Percy and Cas start spreading rumors that Sylas was infected, and Delilah was a necromancer. they get to some influential people, so the Briarwoods have to flee Wildmount.
either Vax/Vex or Grog will be dragons. if it’s the twins, they’d be black dragons that hatched from the same egg. if it’s Grog, he’s a white dragon that was partially raised by Pike (don’t know what she is yet)
Scanlan is a lich and Keyleth is an Archfey. I need to think of more for them
I don’t know about Gilmore or the others yet.

The Inspiration Template for Onward to Critical Role
Swords and sorcery just get real as Ian and Barley Lightfoot from Disney/Pixar's 'Onward' landed smack-dab in the middle of Exandria, the world of 'Critical Role' that exists in the Material Plane full of real magic, real epic adventures, and real wizards, bards, real fantasy and beyond…and no modern technology in this new hypothetical Crossover Alternate Universe (CAU) timeline that explores what would happen if the events of Disney/Pixar's 'Onward (2020)', Critical Role's animated series 'The Legend of Vox Machina (2022)' and its upcoming animated 'Mighty Nien' series occurred differently.
(The crossover timeline takes place after the events of 'Onward' and into the events of 'The Legend of Vox Machina', and the rest will be within the animated series itself)
In this new hypothetical crossover AU after the events of Disney/Pixar's 'Onward', life is still full of magic and wonder for Ian and Barley Lightfoot in the suburban city of New Mushroomton after their journey to bring back their late father…that is, until they woke up to find themselves in another world unlike their own filled with real fantasy magic and no modern technology.

Then, their second adventure takes place after the events of 'The Legend of Vox Machina' Season 3 and into the events of the 'Mighty Nein' series as Ian and Barley get dragged into yet another campaign and saga anew when they're time-warped to 20 years after the adventures of Vox Machina where the two brothers are now joined by another motley group of criminals and misfits based in Wildemount known as the Mighty Nein (Comprised of Caleb Widogast, a human transmutation wizard; Nott the Brave, a young goblin rogue; Jester Lavorre, a blue female tiefling; Beauregard Lionett, a human female monk; Fjord, a green half-orc Hexblade warlock; Mollymauk Tealeaf, a lavender tiefling blood hunter; Yasha Nydoorin, a female aasimar barbarian; and much more).
The inspirations and influences of the Onward/Critical Role crossover and its new hypothetical crossover AU timeline are:

Thought of a Class Swap/Change AU featuring
Gunslinger Grog(the 'gun' is just a ship's cannon he carries around)
Rogue Percy(either Mastermind or Inquisitive)
Druid Vex
Grave Cleric Vax
Zealot Barbarian Pike
Ranger Keyleth
And it's physically impossible for me to see Scanlan as anything but a bard
That's so good!
I could also see Scanlan being a sorcerer or wizard, the vibes are very similar and I could also see Keyleth being a sorcerer, the vibes are excellent for her. And mastermind rogue Percy? Absolutely top notch. I love all of these!

(Superhero AU) Boring question but I have to ask, what are everybody's codenames?
Keyleth's has got to be Tempest
Scanlan in Music Man
Grog is probably just Strongjaw
Pike is Everlight
Vex is Huntress
Percy is originally Bad News but changes to Gunslinger
Vax is Champion of Ravens (usually shortened to Champion)

Note
I've been thinking alot about gunslinger! Keyleth, mainly just because I'd like to see keyleth with a gun and I think she deserves to have one
But alas I'm kinda terrible with au and au world building
So I wanted to know if you had any thoughts on if Keyleth was a gunslinger instead?
I'm sorry I really have no idea, I can't really picture that in my head. Maybe one of my followers has an idea?
