Also yes it’s a habit to pull weird faces when taking selfies. It’s not a duck face (or at least that wasn’t the intention) but I’ve been told it looks ridiculous nonetheless.

   This was gonna be simple, right? Cap and Tony wouldn’t    have sent him here to talk her down if they didn’t think he could do it. 

At least that’s what he was telling himself while he scanned for her. How do you even look for a shapeshifter? He couldn’t just walk up to her while in costume, not without setting off some alarms for her and blowing her cover. 

Scanning over the crowd and waiting for a little buzz form his spider-sense to let him know who she was. Finally getting a quick tingle from the back of his head as someone ducked into an alley way, Peter sprang off his foot so he could perch himself high up on the alley wall. 

    ❝Okay, please tell me you’re uh—you know—should I even say your name?      If you’re not who I’m looking for than this is gonna get really awkward really fast.❞

Shelter from the storm

Anyil hunched her head further as the downpour around her seemed to pick up steam. She was already soaked through to the skin, though she had been fortunate enough to get down from the bare peaks of the Lefka Ori before the lightning had begun - a fact, she thought grimly as she trudged forward, might have more to do with a bit of Divine interference than luck. Still, every time the lightning struck, she could smell the burned air near her, and see where the trees shuddered. The Thunderer was not pleased nor appeased by her pilgrimage, it seemed, even if His Divine Wife Hera kept him from striking her dead directly. Shivering, she looked through the gloom for any hope at shelter; her heart beat fast in her chest when she saw a dim light through the branches. Praying it was not a trick of her sense,s she stumbled forward, breaking into as much a run as she could manage.

“Hail the house!” she cried, as the light grew brighter. “Will you grant me shelter?”
