one day she woke up and her hair has grown out black instead of her natural mousy blonde

and funny thing, one of her greatest childhood fears was turning into a ‘monster’(courtesy of late night cartoons featuring werewolves) so yeah, finding your hair turning a different colour, quite the scary experience 😅

She would be about 6-7 yo here since I’m guessing the experiments would finally start taking part in the physical appearance of the kids

Prompt 10 - Greatest Fear

Justine’s greatest fear is that she’ll never be more than a monster or a man.

This was such a fun one to do. It’s so interesting to try and draw a fear because none of my ocs have concrete physical fears.

Like Kits greatest fear yall already know is being unloved. Mateo’s is never getting to be like other kids his age (My boy is nuerodivergent and a super powered individual someone save him, he doesn’t want to be so different)

Some silly fanart of connor!!

I was wondering if the alt universe is opened for additional lore, adding twists, ocs, and so on. I would also love to make little comic strips of the episodes when I have the time, maybe even more fanart of the others!

And just one last quick question, will more posts of the side characters be interacting? Including some lore posts of how the powers are inserted to the heroes + in training (how old do they have to be to be experimented on?)

finished!! got lazy when it came to the civilian fit, the fabric is iridescent but when other people draw it you can color it white, I think I’ll put this for the first prompt of the gunntech oc challenge. I lowkey think I made his face weird but at least we have Elliot Grande to serve!!

Also: additional lore I may have left out,

Elliot despite being on the weakest member of his team, he is actually really socially smart, and surprisingly good in biology (like I sam irl)) he’s the shortest out of the team and always uses his dainty exterior to fool others. his strategy makes him good at his public job, making him easily likeable, innocent and also fools the villians because they don’t expect anything from him.

also I feel since he lacks a moral backbone from being manipulated more so than the others I feel like during the mind control arc, instead of fighting with everyone he’d end up choosing to stay out of fear and trying to convince connor and amaya to stay aswell, only for him to regret it after seeing greg mind controlled and then getting mind controlled himself. I think it would be a cool glinda and elphaba tragedy between him and the team and it could explore how truly deep gunntech’s manipulation goes with certain kids.

As I already mentioned in the previous post, Kira likes to do gymnastics (although I think she wouldn't get along very well with Connor...idk why but it would be like the typical Dogs vs Cats)

Most of Kira's favorite moves are where her back needs to be flexible. She likes having her back broken (that's just sound bad lol)

Kore is about 15 yo here, just came back from their first mission without an older hero!( thinking weather Kit would be in the same team…) but something went wrong, what was supposed to be a quick jump on some small crime gathering turned out to be a much bigger deal and even though they called for back up, Kore got beaten up quite badly

I guess this is also not long before she cuts their hair again

Kit and Halloween

Kit loves Halloween. She loves taking her little siblings Trick or Treating.

She always gets really into costume’s for Halloween. A couple costumes she’s done have been Arogorn from Lord of the Rings, and Lucy Pevensie from Narnia.

A more notable costume is one year she went as a Werewolf by using her powers and using hair chalk on her tail and ear. She added more makeup and fake fur as well. She really liked how well she could see that year but she might have accidentally freaked a couple other trick or treaters out with her reflective eyes especially

When Kore was recruited to Gunntech it wasn’t because she was the best choice but because she volunteered instead of their two younger sisters who were tested to be more compatible with whatever genetic bs they do at GT. They were significantly younger though(like 4yo young) so the agency would have had to wait, Kore volunteered(big sister instincts kicking in, you are not doing sus experiments on my sisters) and was accepted because of their smarts more than anything else (and also because they could tell she cares about her siblings so they could be used as leverage against her if she ever goes rogue, manipulation yey 🙌)

They’re also very suspicious of GT as a whole, I mean, experiments on children and teenage supersoliders? SUS

But yeah, she only stays because she knows that GT can and will use their siblings against her. And maybe because she feels a little(a lot) protective over the younger trainees, hoping to find them a way out.

Anyway, nowadays she’s doing their best to take the brunt of as many things as possible, a kid acts out and warrants solitary confinement? Guess who just mocked and disobeyed the supervisor? A “volunteer” is needed for an experiment? Guess who just happens to be near to take it? And so she does her best to keep at least a bit of the ✨trauma✨ away from the kids

Bute yeah, because of all the experiments and disciplinary measures, Kore is most often seen with bandages about her whole person, she wouldn’t say it out loud but she low key enjoys serving as a bright warning sign to the children and a constant reminder of doubt to the older trainees, call it gold among dross

So yeah, soon(or in November, depends on how much motivation I’ll have while also doing Technotober) I might draw Kore with their siblings, and await Kit and Kore

About Kit being Mind Controlled

Inspired about @tea-cuz-why-not posting about whether or not Kore would be mind controlled. I figured I’d talk about my ideas for Kit being mind controlled.

So Kit is actually one of the first to get mind controlled. You know how Luna gets sedated to be brought back. I imagine Kit with her enhanced targeting abilities gets asked to be a part of the sharpshooting squad.

She refuses because she doesn’t feel it’s honest. They don’t take no for an answer then. She fights against them when they try to take her too the experimentation room. This is where the angst I mentioned before with her baby sister. She realizes at least partially that what happens. She doesn’t want to miss seeing her little sister grow up. She hasn’t heard her talk, and she wants to see all of her sisters graduate , and she won’t let Gunntech take that away from her. So she fights tooth and nail to get out but she’s overpowered in the end.

The scary thing about Kit is people wouldn’t realize right away she’s being controlled because she has a stealth suit (Which I am planning to draw at some point) that had glasses designed to block eye glow before the whole mind control thing since her foxly glowing eyes aren’t the best for stealth anyway.

ok ok so, Kore and physical health , I mean, she’s the one with bandages has part of their daily attire

but in all seriousness, she patches herself up as best as can but if they’re sick or generally in pain they’re not really one to give herself a break, takes a questionable amount of painkillers and vitamin c and tries to push through the day. That probably ended up with her passing out during training or patrol more than once but oh well

And mental heat? Not great, I mean everyone at GT is severely traumatised but Kore goes out of her way to take the trauma for others which just is not a good thing to do to your mental health I can tell you that. They’re a “fake it till you make it” kind of person and got really good at it! To the point where more than once the mental state goes from “haha” to “I am crying on the floor in my room and questioning everything” but don’t we all

She’s going to be honest about her well-being only to like, four people max(one of which is Kit) but other than that, turn your pain into a weapon against GT manipulation or something

Hey, I’m curious because I’ve been thinking about it. How do you think Kit and Kore met/became friends? We know they met at Gunntech, but beyond that. Did they do training together? Did they spar? Just happen to drift towards each other during free time? Or something else?

I don’t have a solid thought on how exactly they started talking so I was curious if you did.

yeah I’ve been wondering about it and honestly I have NO IDEA

that would prolly depend on how long they’ve been there? Kore would be around 16-19 yo that type of thing? But I don’t remember how old the trainees are when they are recited.

Was it 7? Or something around that? But aside from age, I’m thinking they weren’t like, training together but maybe met during like a more science stuff? Like an experiment or just a check up? And just kind of clicked. Maybe one saw the other pull the shit they’d do and feel “my person”? Or were roomed together? (I do t remember how the rooming worked, was it team based?)

Kit is kind of mid way on her mental health. I wouldn’t say she’s phenomenal with it but she also does take time to take care of herself. On one hand Kit struggles to open up to people about any struggles she has since she always feels responsible for taking care of other people. I think the only person she really ever opens up to is Kore.

But she likes to take time to herself to calm down and think over things if she’s stressed or feeling down. She journals. She goes on walks. Or she just listens to music.

14) Who's a character your OC cannot stand! It's on sight when they see them!

Kit is generally pretty amicable to everyone. She doesn’t like Romeo though. She doesn’t trust him and tends to avoid him when given the opportunity.

15) Will your OC ever retire? Do you see them making it?

I do see Kit making it and “retiring” in a sense from Gunntech. I can see her in the future becoming a librarian or maybe a teacher.

16) What are their pronouns? What would they like to be called?

Originally I was thinking that Kit was going to be genderqueer but she’s not. I feel like I create characters and then they start making their own decisions. Kit’s pronouns are She/her.

She has a strong preference for being called Kit. She does not like being called by her full name or any other nickname unless it’s by family or occasionally other adults

19) What's their sexuality? What's their love language both giving and receiving?

Kit is Ace.

Kit is a gift giver. It’s usually not super expensive but she likes to find little things that remind her of her friends and give them to them (like Shiny things for Kore) or bake treats to give out.

As for receiving she needs words of affirmation. Which is probably a large reason as to why she’s so loyal to Gunntech because that’s a love language that they can easily use.

Those are the main ones she’s mostly ok with any one

debating weather Kore would be mind controlled(Gunn would finally have the satisfaction of having full control over her) or if she wouldn’t and she would have to fight someone she cares about(ex.Kit if she was mind controlled, or even if somehow one of her siblings was in the programme, or just any younger trainee, she wouldn’t be able to handle it)

NEW GUNNTECH ART ALERT!!

Context: Arley (MY POOR GIRL 😭😭😭) unfortunately got mind controlled by GunnTech and Romeo finds out. This is in Romeo’s POV and the left side is blurred because Connor scratched his eye years ago and probably made his left vision blurry and partially blind, this could also be a meaning of that Romeo only sees good and innocence in her because on his right vision, it isn’t blurred. (Also I made Arely’s hair shorter when she got mind controlled and got rid of her hairpin, again, when she got mind controlled.)

Hello again! I wanted to ask if you have some headcanons of the relationship in their own perspective (as in friends) between Sun Arley and Romeo?

I’ll start with Arley since she’s my OC

Arley sees Romeo basically as a friend more than a villain, as she regularly sneaks in GunnTech to find and hang out with Romeo. She thinks he’s aloof but very polite, smart, and kind and Romeo did help her with math homework when they were younger, and Romeo did gift her a sunflower hairpin on her birthday.

You can do on what Romeo sees in Arley as a friend (and/or a crush since I still want to do a ship between Arley and Romeo)

so I think he also saw her as a friend, and also someone who would not object any experiments

I’m not sure how attached he’d be? Maybe a 6/10 on a ‘don’t care’ to ‘you will not find him anywhere where she isn’t’ scale; one would see them together often but not like attached on the hip

I’d also say that Romeo would remember a lot about her, the little details

Also I think he would recognise her good heart, maybe be even confused by it after what she went through

Have this idea that after he has the ‘oh’ moment of realising his feelings for her he’d try to analyse if it’s worth it to tell her(aka try to sus out her feelings towards him) and probably that would be the one field that he’d not be 100% sure even if all the evidence pointed to yes, sometimes he’d maybe even be bashful about it or refuse to do experiments on her?

also feel free to disregard this idea but I’ve been entertaining a “I’m not Connor” scene with them, with Romeo saying something along by the lines of “I know, and that doesn’t change my feelings”

Prompt 13 - Villian/Gone Rogue/If they stayed

Info about Mateo in this AU

Mateo I’d he hadn’t escaped would have been trained and drilled for field work very early. After all he was designed with the express purpose of catching the rogue gunntexh representatives. He cant very well do that from in the building. So Solaris is introduced as the youngest superhero

As he uses his powers a lot more in this au his hair actually goes through a change.

Since he was a little more rushed of an agent. His suit was relatively the same design as Luna’s just re-colored. I also just think that’s a gun thematic device like they’re mirrored images of eachother. So the same and yet so opposite.

Funny to think Mateo is stuck hunting down those who were his family in one universe (ok he’s mainly designed to capture Luna but it’s good for him to get back others as well)

In one universe he might spend his whole childhood ignoring what he is and pretending normal but in this one he’s not granted that. He’s been extensively trained since the moment he received his implant.

I think it’s interesting because even if they got to keep Mateo he wouldn’t have been quite as much as they wanted. After all his powers aren’t nearly as strong at night. All he can rely on is stored energy and that which reflects off the moon.

They’re pushing a 6 year old to be stronger than a teenager. And I mean he is a power house in this au. He can hold his own but not quite enough to overpower Luna.
