Car driving on Beach.
One of the things that surprised me when I first lived in the USA (30+years ago) was cars driving along the shores. I remember going to Galveston in Texas with friends and we parked our car right by the shores opened the trunk and enjoy the day.
While it’s not as common for people to drive on the beaches anymore you still see patrol cars driving. I have been to many beaches all around the world in the past 30 years and I don’t remember seeing it anywhere else.
