Another great quote from wir.sehen.euch IG with a lovely photo by @derwahnsinn
"BLACK AND WHITE: When Rammstein started creating their Untitled album, Richard Kruspe brought in Olsen Involtini, which changed the dynamics of the group. «By him being there, the energy changed between me and Paul drastically. I don't know why», Kruspe told Revolver. «It's almost like being in couples therapy. It's not about going there and getting advice from the therapist. It's more about, if you go to a therapist and sit in front of the other person, all of a sudden you're listening to what the other person has to say, rather than while he's saying something and you're thinking of a strategy to fight against him. So, all of a sudden, I was listening to what he had to say and he was listening to what I had to say. Individual-wise, we're really, really different. Black and white. If he says, 'Yeah', I say, 'No'. It's always the same story. But somehow we need that for the Rammstein cosmos.»"

Synopsis: Y/N, the bassist for Eclipsed, gives Renee some props during an interview and ends up hanging out with her.

masterlist
The excitement buzzed in the air as Y/N YL/N, the talented bassist of the rising rock band "Eclipsed," prepared for a much-anticipated interview. The band had been making waves in the music scene, and the media was eager to learn more about the individuals behind the electrifying sound. Y/N, known for their skillful bass playing and enigmatic stage presence, was ready to share their journey.
The interview took place in a trendy studio, with the band seated on a chic, modern couch. Y/N's fingers idly traced the frets on their bass, a well-worn instrument that had seen countless gigs and late-night jam sessions. The interviewer, a music journalist with an infectious passion for the industry, dove straight into the questions.
"So, Y/N, let's start with your musical journey. How did you find your way to the bass guitar?" the interviewer inquired, leaning forward.
Y/N grinned, the memory of their musical awakening evident in their eyes. "I actually started with the guitar, but one day, I heard this deep, resonant bass line that just spoke to me. It was like the heartbeat of the song, and from that moment, I was hooked. I switched to the bass, and it felt like coming home."
The rest of the band nodded in agreement, acknowledging the pivotal role Y/N played in shaping the band's distinctive sound. The lead singer, Maya, chimed in, "Y/N brings a unique energy to our music. The bass lines add a whole new layer, creating this dynamic and powerful sonic landscape."
As the conversation flowed, the interviewer shifted gears, asking about the band's creative process. Drummer Alex spoke about the collaborative nature of their songwriting, while the guitarist, Jake, discussed the influences that shaped their sound. Y/N interjected with tales of late-night jam sessions and the organic evolution of their music.
"We all bring something different to the table," Y/N explained. "It's like a musical potluck. Each of us has our own tastes and influences, and when we come together, it creates this fusion of sound that defines Eclipsed."
The conversation turned to the band's recent successes, including a sold-out show and a growing fan base. Y/N's eyes sparkled with gratitude as they reflected on the journey.
"It's been incredible," Y/N shared. "Our fans are amazing. They connect with the raw emotion in our music, and that's the most rewarding part. Music is a language that transcends words, and seeing people resonate with what we create is truly humbling."
As the interview with Eclipsed continued, the interviewer shifted gears, a mischievous glint in their eyes.
"Now, Y/N, the music world is full of incredible artists, and one rising star who seems to have captured a lot of attention is Renee Rapp. Have you had the chance to meet her, and what are your thoughts on her music?" the interviewer inquired, a sly smile playing on their lips.
Y/N's expression lit up at the mention of Renee Rapp. "Oh, Renee is fantastic! I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her in person yet, but I'm a big fan of her work. Her music has this raw authenticity that really resonates with me. It's always refreshing to see artists who pour their heart and soul into their craft."
The rest of the band nodded in agreement, expressing their admiration for Renee Rapp's talent. Maya, the lead singer, chimed in, "I love how she fearlessly embraces her uniqueness. It's inspiring to see artists who aren't afraid to be true to themselves, both in their music and their persona."
The interviewer pressed a bit further, asking if there were any specific songs or aspects of Renee Rapp's music that Y/N found particularly inspiring. Y/N thought for a moment before responding, "I really connect with the way she uses her voice to convey emotion. It's powerful and evocative. As musicians, we're always drawn to those artists who can create a genuine connection with their audience, and Renee does that exceptionally well."
The conversation then meandered into a discussion about musical influences, with each band member sharing their favorite artists and the impact those musicians had on their own sound. It was clear that Eclipsed Echoes drew inspiration from a diverse range of genres and artists, contributing to the richness of their music.
"And, Y/N, given that you've expressed admiration for Renee Rapp's talent, do you have any comments for her?" the interviewer asked, a faint hint of curiosity in their tone.
Y/N, ever composed, smiled with her teeth. "I do,-" She paused, looking at the camera directly. "Keep your head up, bitch. you're effortlessly you and that shit is wicked. You gotta remember the comments of your loved ones are the only ones that matter."
The rest of the band nodded in agreement, sensing the delicate nature of the question. Maya, the lead singer, added, "Absolutely. It's crucial to separate someone's art from their personal lives. We're all here because of our love for music, and that's what we should celebrate."
The interviewer, quickly shifted gears steering the conversation back toward the band's music and upcoming projects. Y/N, always poised and focused on the music, gracefully navigated through the interview, steering it away from personal matters and back into the realm of creativity and passion.
As the interview concluded, it was evident that the members of Eclipsed were not only talented musicians but also individuals who valued respect and professionalism in their interactions. The episode served as a reminder that, while curiosity about an artist's personal life may arise, the primary focus should always remain on the artistry and creativity that unite the diverse and dynamic world of music.
A few days after the interview, Y/N found a pleasant surprise in their Instagram inbox. It was a message from none other than Renee Rapp herself. Excitement bubbled within Y/N as they read the message.
"Hey Y/N! 🌟 I caught your interview, and it was awesome hearing your thoughts on my music. Your band's sound is killer! Would love to chat more and maybe hang out sometime. What do you say?"
Y/N quickly replied, expressing their gratitude and enthusiasm for the unexpected message. The conversation flowed effortlessly as they exchanged thoughts about music, shared favorite artists, and found common ground in their passion for creating authentic, powerful art.
Renee suggested meeting up for a casual hangout, perhaps grabbing coffee or exploring a local record store. Y/N eagerly agreed, and plans were set in motion for a meeting between two talented musicians who had connected through their shared love for the art form.
As the day of the meetup arrived, Y/N couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. They met Renee at a cozy cafe, and from the moment they greeted each other, it was clear that the connection extended beyond the digital realm. The conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter, shared stories of musical journeys, and a mutual appreciation for the creative process.
Y/N and Renee's casual hangout unfolded into an afternoon of shared laughter, animated discussions about music, and an undeniable chemistry that lingered in the air. The cozy cafe provided the perfect backdrop for their burgeoning connection, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enhancing the warmth of the atmosphere.
As they chatted about their favorite bands and musical influences, Y/N couldn't help but be captivated by Renee's infectious enthusiasm. The conversation flowed seamlessly between topics, from the intricacies of songwriting to the exhilarating rush of performing on stage. Each shared anecdote deepened the connection, forging a bond between two artists who understood the unique challenges and joys of their chosen path.
The flirtatious banter began subtly, with playful glances and gentle teasing. Renee's laughter resonated like a melody, and Y/N found themselves drawn to her magnetic energy. As they strolled through a nearby record store, fingers lightly brushing against vinyl covers and sharing recommendations, the air seemed charged with an unspoken tension.
At a moment of quiet contemplation in the record store, Renee's gaze met Y/N's, and a playful smirk played on her lips. "You know," she said with a twinkle in her eye, "your interview made me curious. You mentioned appreciating someone's art without focusing on appearance. Do you always manage to separate the two?"
Y/N felt a flush of warmth creeping up their cheeks, realizing the subtle shift in the conversation. With a coy smile, they responded, "Well, I believe in appreciating the beauty in everything, whether it's in the artistry of music or… other things."
The air between them crackled with a newfound tension, and as they continued to explore the record store, the playful exchanges deepened into a more overt flirtation. A gentle touch on the arm here, a lingering gaze there—each gesture spoke volumes, creating an atmosphere charged with unspoken desire.
As they wrapped up their hangout, Y/N and Renee exchanged contact information, promising to meet again soon. The connection they forged went beyond the shared love for music, evolving into a magnetic attraction that lingered in the air, leaving both of them eager to explore the potential of this unexpected and thrilling connection.
In the days that followed their initial hangout, Y/N and Renee's connection deepened through playful messages and shared playlists. Their conversations became increasingly laced with flirtatious undertones, a dance of words that hinted at a mutual attraction.
One evening, Y/N received a message from Renee suggesting a joint songwriting session. The prospect of collaborating ignited a spark of excitement in Y/N, and they eagerly agreed. As they settled into the cozy ambiance of Y/N's home studio, surrounded by musical instruments and the gentle hum of creativity, the air seemed charged with both anticipation and a growing sense of intimacy.
As they worked on a new song, Y/N couldn't help but notice the subtle shifts in Renee's body language—the way she would lean in slightly, the lingering touches on shared instruments, and the occasional laughter that held a hint of something more. The energy between them was palpable, a magnetic force drawing them closer with each passing moment.
Renee, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, suggested taking a break and grabbing a snack from the kitchen.
As Y/N and Renee took a break in the cozy kitchen, the atmosphere crackled with a potent blend of creative energy and unspoken desire. The shared laughter and flirtatious banter lingered in the air, creating a magnetic pull that neither could ignore. Renee, feeling the palpable tension, decided to take a bold step.
As they stood near the kitchen island, discussing the finer details of their latest composition, Renee's gaze lingered on Y/N's lips. With a mischievous glint in her eyes, she leaned in, closing the distance between them and placing her hands on Y/N's waist. Time seemed to slow as Y/N felt the soft warmth of Renee's lips pressing against their own, and their back hitting the counter.
The kiss was electric, a spontaneous spark that ignited a fire between them. Y/N, momentarily stunned, soon reciprocated, their hands instinctively finding each other in a gentle embrace. The kitchen became a canvas for this unexpected moment, a dance of passion and shared connection against the backdrop of a creative haven.
Breaking the kiss, Renee grinned, her eyes filled with a mixture of playfulness and genuine affection. "Well, that was unexpected," she teased, her fingers gently tracing patterns on Y/N's arm.
Y/N, catching their breath, couldn't help but smile in response. "Glad you did it, Renee."
The shared laughter that followed sealed the moment, turning the kitchen into a haven where the boundaries between music and personal connection blurred. As they chatted over a plate of shared snacks, their knees brushed against each other under the table, creating a subtle yet electrifying connection. As they returned to their songwriting session, the newfound intimacy lingered, infusing their creative collaboration with an electrifying energy that promised more harmonies to come. The kitchen island, witness to the impromptu kiss, became a symbol of the uncharted territory their connection was now exploring.

The head-canons that could be written for this on new canon info is too great—
First order of business: Hakkai is #1 Mitsuya Fangirl with idol lights, headbands, tee shirts and everything
Angry as drummer makes so much sense. He doesn’t know what he’s doing half of the time, he just has that good of beat awareness and rhythm control.
Kazutora BEEN knowing how to play Guitar. He and Baji tried learning together, but Baji kind of got bored of it.
I could write guitarist Baji headcanons for days, but my first line of thought is that playing couldn’t keep his interest.
Kazutora has naturally long fingers that make reaching all the notes really easy. He’s very good, and learns all his favorite songs as practice before the band was even put together.
Akkun thought learning base would make him look cool, initially. He liked the deep cords and also caught on pretty fast.
Akkun’s always has spare guitar picks on him, which is great when Kazutora always forgets his.
Mitsuya…….. now Mitsuya-
He just naturally has beautiful vocals. He’s written a lot of solo songs where he can express his vocal range.
Luna and Mana Love listening to their brother, and often he will sing them lullabies of his own creation to sleep …
The Band is definitely more Punk Tone.
They all try to write songs together, but they can never agree on anything when working collaboratively like that.
They all actually get along really well, and don’t fight often. It’s just that while they play great together, they’re not often on the same page with collaborative ideas.
Just how Angry just flows well with whatever beat Akkun and Kazutora give him, Mitsuya will just listen to them play and come up with genius lyrics to match
Kazutora does better when he’s given a script, or cord inspiration.
“Play something close to Asterisk*, and we’ll go from there.” “Okaaay!”
Idk that’s all I got I know it’s silly and nothing but.
If you come up with more headcanons pls tag me in them ♡ preferably something with more Angry !!
#these might be bad sorry#I just need to see more band headcanons so I thought I’d start#feel free to reblog and add to this lol#tokyo revengers#tokyo rev#tokyo revengers headcanons#angry kawata#kawata souya#Kazutora#hanemiya kazutora#tokyo revengers akkun#akkun#Mitsuya#takashi mitsuya#hakkai shiba#hakkai#mitsuya headcanons#kazutora headcanons

Daisy Jones
by the time i woke up, you were gone.
i cannot mix my professional life and my personal life.
Pronouns: He/Him/His, M!Reader
CW/TW: No real warnings
"I'm tellin' you, (Y/N)." The quiet sound of the lighter flickering on and lighting a cigarette filled his ears. "This collab will be fuckin' historical."
"I'm sure that's what everyone thinks, Ted." (Y/N) sighed as he leaned back into the plushness of the couch's cushion, his chin coming to rest on his palm in thought.
His manager had already given him the go-ahead to accept a collab with Teddy's newest rock band but he hardly found the idea of collaborating with a band so early in their newbie years enticing. Sure, they'd been a fairly popular band when they were just 'The Six' but Teddy had recently added a new singer into the mix. Too fresh, too new, too much possibility for drama. "I've heard them and they're good but.. you know bands can be difficult to work with. They all have something to say."
"You should give them a try, (Y/N). Brainstorm with Daisy and Billy, listen to the others mess around with their instruments, and then, decide if they're worth it or not." A cloud of smoke escaped Teddy while he spoke, his lips tugging up into a confident smile. As much as (Y/N) trusted Teddy and his ideas, he still remained unconvinced but he'd never been one to not experiment.
A door in the distance opened and closed, echoing through the hall and followed by the noise of loud chatter. The band entered the room and their different conversations promptly died the moment they noticed him on the couch. (Y/N) inhaled deeply and stood up, bracing himself for the awestruck liners his fans always gave him; it soon followed with the youthful curly-haired guitarist's hand shooting out to shake his with a big smile and the typical 'big fan' tumbling out of his mouth. (Y/N) politely smiled and thanked them, shaking each of their hands as he properly learned their names.
"Daisy should be right-"
"Here!" The newest singer of the band shuffled past her bandmates until she reached him, her eyes bright and twinkling with energy. He stared at her, his lips almost pursing as he finally realized why the name 'Daisy Jones' rang a bell the first time he'd heard Teddy mention her. Daisy stuck out her hand toward him with a soft giggle. "Hey," She greeted softly.
Before he could say anything back, Billy slunk up to stand beside her. "We've got a song we've been tweaking for the past few days that I think you'd like. We could play it in the studio for you and see what you think about it." (Y/N) caught the way Daisy rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. Still a fresh band and already with tension, just as he expected.
"Yeah, sure, sounds good." He nodded, returning Billy's smile with one of his own and watching the band hurry into the nearest recording room to set up their instruments and prepare themselves. Daisy lingered behind, motioning for the keyboardist, Karen Sirko, to go on without her before she turned to him, her brow lifting and lips curling into an amused smile. "Listen-"
"I thought I'd never see you again if I'm honest. By the time I woke up, you were gone and I didn't see you again at any of the bars or clubs. For a second, I thought you'd left for tour again and then, Teddy Price gives me a call to tell me we might be getting a collab with everyone's favorite rockstar. Crazy how the world works, huh?" Her head tilted to the side, her wild auburn hair swishing with the movements.
"Look, Daisy, I enjoyed talking with you and all that but I cannot mix my professional life and my personal life. Everyone loves the sex, drugs, and chaos of being a rockstar but I don't like drama. It makes for a good article or song, sure, but it gives me a headache and I hate having to do damage control." (Y/N) explained softly, reaching out to touch her arm gently. "It's better to... be friends or at the very least amicable colleagues."
"We can be friends." Daisy agreed with a nod. "But I don't think that'll last."

My Splatoon OCs who would hypothetically host an Order version of Splatoon 3! This is Part 1, so it's still a work in progress~
Tulla! DJ Wavebouy! and Lala! Here to spread the good word is the producer pop trio known as Bubba Tease!
With a 2000s flair for fun and fresh mixes, these sea anemone sistas and their clownfish bro are comin' in hot and sweet with music that gets you moving! With each member being a producer in their own right, their collaborative sound always surprises and impresses.
"What's happenin' Squiddy Slickers!"
Meet Tulla!
Age 25 | Species: Sea Anemone | Role: Vocals and Precussion
A veteran in the pop music scene, Tulla has finally found her sound in disco, salsa pop, and ballroom scenes. An original member of the producer and vocalist duo, Missing Ink, her almost mammalian vocals have now found their home in this bubbly pop group.
Meet Wavebouy, blub.
Age 22 | Species: Giant Clownfish | Role: Mixer and Guitarist/Bassist
Despite his towering size and impressive talents, Wavebouy is quite shy in interviews and meetings alike. That said, his mood seems to completely change when he's onstage, giving room to a lively and outgoing young fish. A classic house DJ who trained under Turquise October, he, like many, is said to have seen the light after one fateful concert 7 years ago.
Meet Lala...
Age 18 | Species: Sea Anemone | Role: Vocals and Keys
A certified lazy girl and the youngest of the group, Lala is a fun-loving prodigy on the keys that only does what she wants when she wants. Often referring to Tulla as "Big Sis Tu", she enjoys learning from her fellow members and doing her best as an up-and-coming idol. Having grown up as childhood friends with Harmony of ABXY fame, it's no surprise that they have such similar personalities and likes.
Part 2 coming soon!
Bubba Tease will be getting a fully functional album!
I'm still working away at finishing off mixing the vocals for this lil' project but it's extremely close to done, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, here's a setlist:
And a cheeky little sneak peak of one of the unfinished non-vocals~
"Back to the Bass-Licks"
And that's all!! Thanks for reading y'all!

CHARLOTTE WESSELS On Her Exit From DELAIN: 'It's Frustrating To Me That We Couldn't Work It Out'
In a recent interview with Scott Penfold of Loaded Radio, former DELAIN frontwoman Charlotte Wessels was asked about the circumstances that led to her 2021 departure from the band. She said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "There was a conflict and we couldn't overcome it. That's a very short version of it. I've never really gone into detail about it, and I still don't really feel about going into detail about it. The thing that I will say is we spent a lot of time trying to work things out. We were already putting much energy in that before we kind of got to the conflict where it was hard to come back from. But, yeah, especially since the pandemic happened, we had no gigs. We had all the time in the world to think, like, 'Okay, what are we going to do? Will we be able to solve this?' And we took a very long time. And in the end, the answer was no. There was no solution that we could find where we would continue in that way. And a part of me — it's such a big part of my life, and I'm very happy, I'm very proud with what we did in that time. So it's frustrating to me that we couldn't work it out. The thing that kind of comforts me is the fact that we did take so much time to explore all the different possibilities, like, could we make this work? Yeah, I don't feel like there was really another option. So that's why."
Asked if she still keeps in touch with DELAIN keyboardist, founder and main songwriter Martijn Westerholt, Charlotte said: "I ran into him at one point, but there's been no contact otherwise. And I think right after it, there's been some contact here and there, but that was about it."
Back in September 2022, Wessels was asked by Spain's The Metal Circus TV how she feels about the fact that DELAIN made a comeback with a new lineup. A month earlier, DELAIN released a single, "The Quest And The Curse", featuring Westerholt alongside new singer Diana Leah, original guitarist Ronald Landa and original drummer Sander Zoer, plus bassist Ludovico Cioffi. Charlotte said: "I'm trying not to engage with it too much, honestly. I've seen positive responses about it, which I think is good. But I do try to keep some distance and just focus on what I'm doing rather than checking that out, because I still don't feel like that will make me happier per se."
In February 2021, Westerholt announced the dissolution of DELAIN's previous lineup. At the time, he explained: "For the last year or so, the collaboration within the band ceased to work as well as it once had. Some of us were no longer happy with the current roles in the band. We all tried very hard to find a solution for over a year, but sadly we were unable to find one. As a result, we will all be going our own ways and pursuing our own endeavors.
"I am very sad our cooperation has come to end, but at the same time I am very grateful for all the years we were able to work together. Together we toured the world, shared highs and lows, and met with many successes as well as times that pushed us to learn and grow. We all enjoyed meeting our fans and making new friends all over the globe."
At the time, Wessels said about her departure: "I know that you might have questions about the 'why' in all of this. I fully understand and respect that. Simply put, it is the sad conclusion of more than a year of trying to find solutions to built-up grievances. Part of me feels like I'm letting all of you down, I'd like you to know that this decision was not taken lightly and I apologize to those of you who had high hopes of seeing all of us together live on stage again after lockdown. Until recently, I thought this might still be in the cards for us as well."
The new DELAIN lineup made its official live debut in August 2022 at the Riverside festival in Aarburg, Switzerland.
Wessels's new solo album, "The Obsession", came out in September via Napalm Records.

Sleep Isn’t Your Only Friend
🚨THIS FIC HAS MATURE AND SUGGESTIVE SCENES!! NOTHING LEADS TO SEX THO, I PROMISE, III IS JUST BEING A BIT NAUGHTY🚨
GHOST X SLEEP TOKEN FIC!
HERE WE GOOOOO
Rain had been getting ready for tour in his green room when one of the crew members shouted out that they had a 5 minute hold before the show started, Rain sat down on a chair in his room and had a little think about what had been happening on tour, they had been touring with this band, he thinks they’re called, Sleep Token, which consisted of a singer, a bassist, a guitarist, a drummer, and 3 female backup singers. This had been great for them as sadly, Mountain and Copia had to retire from this tour due to urgent and unavoidable family matters, so they had just decided to let the drummer and singer from their touring partners take over for them until they were ready to come back for the new tour.
Rain had walked out of his green room and saw the other bassist walk out of his as well, he must have heard him because he turned back and gave a smile through his black and white mask, Rain gave a forced smile, starting to not like this other bassist. The water ghoul will admit, he had troubles with jealousy and he knew it, he was walking down the hall that contained everyone’s green room, each marked with their name, until he got to who he assumed was the other bassist’s green room, the door marked with the engraving of ‘III’, ah, so that’s the bassist’s name, ‘III’, Rain thought to himself. He continued the walk down to the entrance that opened up into the stage, he peeked out behind the curtains slightly to see all the people that had shown up for the collaboration, Rain didn’t get nervous anymore, he stopped having the jitters around his 5th or 6th show, he can’t remember.
But what he did know, was the presence behind him, he could smell who it was and it stunk, he turned around to find the other bassist, III, staring at him through his black and white mask, “Hey, man, I’m III, it’s great to finally meet you.” He stuck his hand out for the water ghoul to shake it, who hesitated at first, but dryly shook his hand. “You nervous?” Rain asked, sensing the other’s nervousness and anxiety, “U-Uh a little bit, never performed in front of a crowd this huge before.” III responded in a nervous tone, the water ghoul slowly but discreetly rolled his eyes so the other man couldn’t notice.
“You’ll be fine, you have a mask on like the rest of us, you’ll be fine, besides, aren’t you guys also performing some of your songs?” Rain was a tad curious to know what songs they had chosen to perform, before the tour had been agreed with by Ghost and Sleep Token, they were required to learn and practice all of Sleep Token’s music before the tour had been agreed on. Even though Rain knew how to play them all, he wasn’t informed on what songs they had chosen to perform, they were allowed 4 songs, and the same to Ghost, they were allowed 4 songs. Ghost had chosen Rats, Kaisarion, Year Zero and Square Hammer to perform.
III thought about it for a second, putting his finger on his chin and on his hip and doing that foot thing where he puts more weight on one foot than the other. Rain couldn’t help the pooling of weird arousal in his abdomen, he kicked that to the back of his mind, no way in Hell would he fall in love with a bassist who he has barely met and quite frankly he doesn’t like. “I believe the songs we’re performing together are… The Summoning, Sugar, Ascensionism and The Offering.” Rain knew too well those songs, The Offering being his favourite song to play on bass. But he was not about to admit that to someone he barely knows.
The crew member from earlier shouted from somewhere down the hall, “It’s show time, people! And… ghouls.” “Alright, showtime, man, hey, good luck.” III said to the water ghoul, “Thanks.” He said dryly. They walked towards where the curtain was draped over the stage and got into their position, hearing Imperium play as they got ready for the Ritual to begin. III was over near Dew and Aurora’s place on the stage, but not too close to them. He gave the other bassist a friendly nod, but Rain just looked away from him, the other bassist didn’t take any offence from this, as he was merely getting under the water ghoul’s skin, which Rain wasn’t aware of yet. Imperium ended and Ghost started playing Kairsarion, with Vessel and II replacing Copia and Mountain, everything was going well, Dew and IV seeming to be messing around with each other, IV was the guitarist who he hadn’t gotten a chance to meet yet. Kaisarion had ended and it was time for Sleep Token’s first song of the Ritual; The Summoning. It had started and Rain was dancing around, getting the audiences’ attention when he could sense a presence and turned around to find the other bassist standing behind him, giving him a smile through his thin but thick mask, Rain gave a disgusted look, but thankfully due to his big and heavy mask, III didn’t take note of it, instead giving the water ghoul a soft pat on his crotch, which sent waves of heat travelling down Rain’s body to his toes. This guy is trying to kill me, help me Satan.
The Summoning ended and it was time for Ghost’s second song of the show, which was Rats, Rain was still trying to comprehend what happened on stage, he’d lecture the other bassist about it after the show ended, but he just stuck to Swiss’ side of the stage, being silly with the multi ghoul, and occasionally hopping around near the ghoulettes’ areas. At the end of Rats, he caught III’s gaze from the other side of the stage, and he swears to Hell he caught III winking at him. After the last 5 songs went well, III and Rain only exchanging glances and pats on the shoulder here and there, the show went good.
Sorrow in the Wind started playing, and because Sleep Token don’t usually stay around to hand out picks or drumsticks, this was new to them, them all watching the ghouls and ghoulettes walking around stage, messing around with each other, handing out picks and drumsticks to the audience. II decided to run up to Mountain’s drum kit to find a new packet of drumsticks sitting next to the drums, he picked a couple out and walked back down to the stage and threw some out to the crowd, who were yelling a bunch of “I LOVE YOU GUYS” and “THIS WAS THE BEST SHOW OF MY LIFE” and honestly, II could just cry right then and there, he walked over to one of the ghouls, Phantom, and gave him a hug, who immediately hugged him back and he could faintly hear Phantom whisper in his ear, “I’m proud of you, you did so well tonight,” And that’s when the waterworks started, II started sobbing and held his hands up to his face to hide the tears, “Aw baby, don’t cry,” Phantom grabbed the smaller man and held him in his arms, the drummer said through tears and sobs, “I’ve n-never played in front of a crowd this big and supporting before, i-it’s just a lot to t-take in,” II sniffled and basically threw himself into the taller ghoul’s arms, who happily held and swayed him side to side.
The show ended by them standing near the stairs, bowing to all the audience members then leaving to go back through the hallways to the green rooms, everyone had gone to their green rooms, and as III was walking to his, someone grabbed him by the arms, turned him around and pinned him against the wall near his green room, he looked to see that it was Rain, “What the fuck was that out there?! Huh? Patting my dick and patting my shoulder?” Rain wasn’t yelling, but it definitely wasn’t a quiet tone, III was just standing there, and brought his arms up and started holding Rain by the waist, this caused Rain to startle and shove his arms off, “The fuck are you doing?!” Rain was seriously not impressed by this behaviour, until III grabbed Rain by the neck and smashed his lips against his, Rain not pulling away. The water ghoul putting his hands on the other bassist’s chest, the kiss started turning dirty as they both fought for dominance. III pulled back from the kiss, smirked and said, “I knew you had a knack for me,” The water ghoul looked at the taller man and was speechless, III took this chance to sneakily smack him in the crotch, causing Rain to double over, “What was that for?” The ghoul responded in a croaky and in pain tone, grasping his dick
and groaning, III just laughed and walked off, leaving Rain horny, in pain and confused.
Rain slowly walked back to his green room, still in pain from the abuse to his crotch, he opened the door with his name engraved on and sat down on the couch in the room and his mind wandered back to the moment that just happened. Why the fuck would he do that? Rain thought to himself, still horny from the treatment he just received. He ignored his boner, not in the mood to finish himself off, and decided to get changed into nicer looking clothes as they all decided to have dinner in a big place that Vessel and II somehow managed to hire, but the ghouls weren’t complaining, III said he needed the bathroom so he left to go find one while the rest of them found a place to sit, the spare seat, coincidentally, being next to Rain. III had returned after about 15 minutes, taking the spare seat next to Rain, they had been eating until Rain felt a hand on his thigh, he looked next to him to find III eating his food like nothing was happening.
His hand started inching more and more up his thigh, till it stopped right near his crotch, Rain was shaking at this point, slightly not wanting this, but also allowing it to happen, that is until the hand cupped his dick, which he shook, causing a few curious eyes to dart over, “Are you alright, Rainy?” Phantom asked the slightly shaking water ghoul, “M fine, Mount, was just a fly and it scared me,” he grabbed the hand on his cock and shoved it off, but it was back mere seconds later, to which Rain at this point, was just allowing the hand to explore, III caressing his inner thigh. Rain unexpectedly got up from the table, causing III’s hand to dart back to his own lap, and he walked out of the building to sit down on the stairs for a minute, III following after him a few minutes later, everybody at the table trying to guess and understand what just happened.
III walked down the stairs and sat on them next to Rain, “Hey, I’m sorry for back there, I should’ve asked you and it was wrong to do without your consent.” III said to the water ghoul, Rain looked at him, sighed and put his head on his shoulder, “It’s okay, you didn’t do anything wrong, I’m the one who should be sorry from the start, I thought you were just trying to get into everyone’s pants and to be the “goody two shoes bassist”, I shouldn’t have been so quick to judge, I’m sorry, III.” III kissed Rain’s temple and put his arm around his shoulder, “No you’re fine, you’re allowed to have judgements, I was just trying to get comfortable with everyone and also get accustomed to the large crowd.”
“Because see, we barely get big audience, whereas you guys have massive crowds, so when Ves informed us that we were gonna be touring together, I was shitting myself,”
III scooted closer to the water ghoul and sat his head on the other bassist’s head, sighed and continued, “But I knew I had to be strong and look like the overly confident bassist with no worries, but that wasn’t gonna happen, so when we did the show, I started to get more comfortable around everyone, mostly you, because you seemed really cool.” III remembered what happened on stage that he’s gonna apologise for as well, “I want to also say how sorry I am for what I did to you on stage and after the show, it was totally wrong of me and I should have asked if you were ok with it before I went along and did it.” Rain peeked his head up from the taller man’s shoulders to press a chaste kiss on his lips. III cupped Rain’s cheeks to give him a proper soft kiss, and pulled back after, needing air, he knocked their foreheads together and they both let out breathy giggles.
“I wouldn’t mind sharing a bed with you tonight, if it means I get to see that beautiful blue body of yours.” III smirked at his own comment, which made the water ghoul blush like a blueberry.
“I wouldn’t mind that either.”
They had walked back to their hotel rooms after texting everybody that they felt unwell and would end their night early.
Fast forward to the end of “their special night.”
III was panting, “Rain, you were amazing, so soft, loving. I don’t think I have ever had more amazing sex than that with anyone, not even IV, shhh don’t tell him that.” III giggled a little, he was only kidding, not wanting to hurt his other boyfriends’ feelings, their relationship was open and so they were comfortable with each other hooking up with the members of Ghost.
“I enjoyed that as well, III.”
Their night ended by them laying back down, Rain in III’s arms, feeling safe and loved, and fell asleep peacefully to the rhythmic beat of the taller man’s heart in his ears. This was probably the best and most wonderful tour of his career with Ghost.

continuing with the coroika band au
@firefl1ezz I thought more about it so here ya go
Ok so
In this au, the world of splatoon has leaned into music a lot more and it’s the typical industry young inklings and octolings go into rather than turf wars.
Ofc the original idols and bands still exist, there’s just a lot more now
Some coroika characters work with their team as a band, and others are independent artists who occasionally collaborate with other people
They probably all have separate band names but I don’t wanna think of themmmm
Team Blue - an up and coming pop band trying to make a name for themselves. They kind of suck but they’re trying ok
Headphones - lead singer
Goggles: backup singer/guitarist
Bobble Hat - Drums
Specs: keyboard
The S4 - a group that formed out of a collaboration with some of the most popular musicians inkopolis. Their music styles clash in a way that produces a unique and chaotic sound. They don’t get along very well, which is the reason why they don’t do live shows together. Ever since Rider collaborated with them, they’ve also been referred to as the S5. Don’t ask me what the s is for here I don’t know
Army - classically trained and leader of a band who make instrumental music with a strong and prominent bass line (courtesy of B-Sailor, their bassist). Plays mainly piano but also knows violin. He has a great ear and can play a piece just from hearing it.
Aloha - Independent artist who often collaborates with a small group. Doesn’t play any instruments, but has a killer voice. Makes high energy pop songs perfect for dancing, which he exhibits during performances. Also has the largest social media presence, often meeting and taking photos with fans in public.
Mask - also an independent artist who produces electronic music (but specifically resembling real world artists such as odetari and 6arelyhuman). His voice is always auto tuned to the max, but he has an iconic drawl that’s easily recognizable.
Skull - leader of an alternative rock band, playing the drums. Was thinking bass guitar but the s4/5 need a percussionist so…drums. Maybe he can also play the bass, who knows. Doesn’t do live shows very often. He and his lead singer, Aviators, used to be part of a band with Vintage and Omega of X-Blood.
Rider - PUNK ROCK!! An independent artist known for his brash vocals and long guitar solos. Had collaborated with his own group and the s5 before. Has been trying to teach Goggles more guitar techniques, but has learned that Goggles doesn’t really care if his playing kind of sucks.
That’s all I really have for now, I’ll probably make a part 2 with other characters

HELLO i am asking about music but more generally i am asking what sorts of music you really enjoy :}
Oh my goodness you've opened the floodgates.
I'll keep this under the cut cause I suspect this will be a VERY LONG post.
I got started on generic Christian radio music (growing up Christian and all), hymns, and classical music. Since both my parents were children of the 80s, they had a slight affinity for less mainstream artists, and had a fairly extensive vinyl, cassette, and CD collection of numerous Christian, country, and classical music. From this start I developed a deep and unerringly passionate love of your standard classical music greats like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, etc. I also still hold a soft spot for some of the Christian artists I was introduced to as well, such as Michael Card, Larry Norman, John Michael Talbot, David Meece, Michael W. Smith, and some others.
Thanks to my mom being a fan of the glam and hair bands of the day, I was made aware of the hard rock and heavy metal worlds through the Christian bands that figured out they could reach out to people through "the devil's music". Bands like Petra, Stryper, and WhiteHeart. From there I continued to find and discover other Christian rock and metal bands such as Disciple, Theocracy, POD, and Demon Hunter.
It was about this time I started guitar lessons and also found a fascination with the incredibly virtuosic playing of many jazz, flamenco, and classical guitarists such as Django Reinhardt, Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola, Pepe Romero, Jesse Cook, Narsisco Yepes, and more. This jazz/classical/flamenco connection really fuelled my desire to study music further, bolstered by gradually trying to apply what I learned to other music I was discovering thanks to a near 24/7 addiction to my national public radio station that played music, obviously, 24/7.
From this station I discovered opera, deepened my classical knowledge, found out what indie music was, heard the occasional pop smash hit, started making a list of jazz artists I liked, and heard classic oldies rock and blues.
So it's safe to say I was listening to almost every music style you could name. My guitar teacher was savvy to this, and gave me a push towards prog rock with learning a few songs by Yes and Rush, which lent themselves to my multi-faceted interests as the prog guitarists also drew from numerous musical sources.
Returning to my hard rock/metal interests, my love of bands like Stryper and Theocracy led me down the "who met who" rabbit hole. I browsed the labels of both bands, finding out which artists shared their labels, gave those bands a listen, found guest musicians and singers they collaborated with, and listened to those bands. Theocracy led me down two steps to Avantasia through a band called Impellitteri (the common connection is the singer Rob Rock), which led me to Ayreon through Tobi's guest work on "the Source" album. Of course both those bands being guest musician powerhouses led me to find no end of other bands.
Also I discovered Christian metal bands of more extreme styles, including Mortification, Antestor, Slechtvalk, Tourniquet, Deliverance, Vengeance, and others.
At this point my only way to find a lot of these bands was YouTube, as I had no Spotify and no way in hell half the bands I listened to got any radio airplay over here, so my home page was littered with metal bands from all over, and I was fully immersed in music.
Heading to college, I found very few of my dorm mates shared my musical interests save classical and maybe jazz, and definitely not to the degree I was invested in it. That slowed me down some, but I found a few friends who were open to my weirder interests. One I hooked firmly onto Avantasia and power metal (we initially bonded over a shared appreciation for Alice Cooper), and another just vibed really well with me and we shared band recs. He got me into more stoner metal and heavy blues.
As a music student, my classes were heavily geared towards classical music, and I continued to find new artists to obsess over every class. One teach was quite helpful in giving recs and suggestions, and he also taught the music history class, which was right up my alley, so I over listened to every artists we had to listen to for that class.
Over the course of my degree I also was regularly collecting CDs and finding new artists, so naturally I was always listening to something at any given time.
I took an electronic music course, which was a very formative class for me, as previous to this class I was very much in the opinion that electronic music was not real music (my only exposure to the genre was brostep), and learning the extensive history and culture of electronic music with bands like Kraftwerk and individual artists like Wendy Carlos really gave me an opening into that world.
By the end of my music degree I was still struggling to write music, which remains a goal in my mind, but I had increased my CD collection from a shoebox of maybe 50 in my first year to well over 500, spanning all the genres I have mentioned above and more.
I strongly hold the opinion that "you have a favourite artist in every genre of music, you just have to listen for them". This helps me try to keep an open mind to all music styles and artists, while also allowing myself to dislike artists that seem right up my alley (for example, I heartily dislike tool). So far the only major genre that has eluded me for a favourite artists is rap/hip-hop, but the memetic power of Snoop Dogg is slowly working against that.
Soooooo....
Yeah that's kinda my music life, hopefully it's coherent, and this is why I love dropping music recs, cause it helps keep me discovering and listening to new stuff.

After a forfeited university scholarship and four wasted years with a woman who ultimately stranded her and left her for dead on a deserted stretch of Amnian highway, Miriam is determined to finally get her life back on track. What she didn't plan for was finding out the attractive stranger she's been anonymously hooking up with the week before classes began would turn out to be her physics professor for the semester. The right thing to do would be to call it off and never speak of it again. Unfortunately for everyone involved, Miriam's never been particularly good at doing the right thing.
Justice and the Awakening
anders/nathaniel, punk band AU, 36,673 words, incomplete
Nathaniel's life isn't a particularly exciting one, and he's alright with that. He's got enough to do working on a master's degree in classical piano, but a chance encounter with a colleague leads to an opportunity to pick up the bass he hasn't touched in years and try something new for once. He's certainly not going to get involved with the unfairly pretty blonde guitarist who won't stop coming onto him, though. That would be absurd. The deranged Awakening band AU no one ever asked for.
The Place Where I Belong

THE MARIAS
If you’re a fan of indie bedroom-pop, you’ll love The Marias’ retro, dreamy sound. The Marias is a Latinx band that formed back in 2016 named after its lead singer, Maria Zardoya. Zardoya alternates between English and Spanish lyrics as she incorporates her Puerto Rican roots with her soft, velvety vocals. With Josh Conway on the drums, Edward James on the keyboard, and Jesse Perlman on the guitar, they create a psychedelic and atmospheric sound using guitar riffs and jazz elements. Zardoya and Conway wrote and produced their first track “I Don’t Know You" which was discovered and played by a radio station igniting their success.
Click here to check out this interview where Zardoya talks about the fate behind the band’s start and career.
Give this performance a listen to hear what they're about!

Since then he has collaborated on works with Daniel Caesar and Kali Uchis and learned from producers including Pharrell Williams. Nominated for the 2023 Best New Artist Grammy, he has established a name for himself with his ambient, bilingual and soulful music. He sings about his Mexican heritage, trials with love, and experiences as a gay man while mixing in elements of Mexican culture like singing with a live mariachi.

wolfstar one shot famous au - 2000 words
famous au, wolfstar singers, genderfluid sirius black, sirius black uses she/her and they/them pronouns, inspired by a Louis Tomlinson song
She Is Beauty We Are World Class
“F_ck!”
With a loud sigh, Remus flops down on the couch next to Sirius. She looks up from her phone, where she was just reading an email from her manager.
“What’s going on?” They ask and turn their body fully towards Remus. “Benjy‘s in the hospital.”
Benjy is Remus’ lead guitarist and a very important member of his band, which has one of their biggest concerts in about seven hours.
“Oh sht.” She agrees with her best friend and studies his face. The taller man chews stressed on his lips and his amber eyes flicker through the room.
“And what now?”
Sirius knows how much this concert means to Remus and his band. It’s the first time they sold out The Madison Square Garden.
“Minerva’s thinking about cancelling if we can’t find a guitarist who can play all our songs in the next two hours.” He squints his eyes shut and holds his scarred face in his hands.
Sirius watches her best friend as he drives his long fingers through his golden curls and forgets what they were talking about. She shakes her head and leans back and crosses her arms over their chest.
“I can play guitar.” Of course she can, Sirius is also a singer. Remus should know this, they met in university where they studied music.
They even collaborated more than once and she was there when Remus, Benjy, James and Emmeline made their first studio album and is helping them with their second.
The both of them couldn’t be more different when it comes to music, but somehow it always works out in the end. Soon after Sirius had their big breakthrough, she bought a house and her best friends moved in.
That includes Remus, James (Sirius’ best friend, brother and Remus’ drummer), Lily (James’ girlfriend) and Marlene.
But only a few months later, did Marlene’s girlfriend Mary move in with them. Mary has created most of Sirius’ stage outfits ever since. Marlene became Sirius’ producer after she co-produced Remus’ first album.
Remus is a songwriter. His songs are lyrics first and everything after. Emmeline and her husband Benjy joined their band already in university and the four of them work perfectly together.
Where Remus goes more into alternative and indie rock, Sirius is all more r&b and pop with a little jazz and a touch hip hop there and then.
Remus’ art are his songs and lyrics and Sirius’ art is themselves and how she presents them.
“Yeah, but even you can’t learn our setlist on the guitar in-“ he looks at his watch, “in six hours and twenty-five minutes.”
“Moonbeam, I know all your songs by heart. You know that.” She smiles softly at him. “I even covered some.”
Remus scans her face as if he didn’t know this information and it’s a lot to take in. Well, Sirius thought Remus just ignored her obsession with his music. It can’t be that he didn’t notice it. “I even came up with a lot of melodies from that album.”
Their voice is quieter, almost ashamed to admit how much she knows about the songs. Better not mention that she knows even the unreleased ones by heart.
At that moment Remus’ phone starts to vibrate, but he is too stunt to do something, so Sirius just takes it and answers the call.
“Hello, here is Sirius.”
“Oh, hello, Sirius.” Minerva’s voice comes through the speakers. “Can I please speak to Remus? It looks like we have to cancel tonight’s show. Some fans are already there so better get the message out as quickly as possible.”
“No,” she just decides. “We found a guitarist.”
There is silence on the other side for a few seconds and Remus' eyes widen even wider. “Me!”
“Oh,” comes Minnie’s response and Remus’ brain seems to stop working as he just opens and closes his mouth repeatedly like a fish but nothing comes out.
——————
A loud laugh comes from James, the second Sirius finishes her explanation. Lily just chuckles next to him and even Emmeline looks surprised by the news.
“Well, welcome to the team!”
Mary is styling her as always and is a little annoyed at the short notice. While getting ready, Emmeline and James go through their setlist with Sirius and they practise every second they have till the concert.
Remus didn’t say much since they arrived at the location. Sirius just sees him whispering to James or Lily sometimes.
“What’s going on with Remus?” They ask Emmeline, as she puts on her makeup as well. “He is always more quiet when he knows you’re in the audience and now you’re on stage with him, can’t imagine how nervous he is.”
She smiles at Sirius before focusing back on the mirror and the colours on her eyelids. She keeps her eyes on Emmeline for a few more seconds before Mary orders her to get changed.
“Wow!” Sirius exclaims when she looks in the body length mirror. “Mary! This is so beautiful.”
Mary dressed her in more clothes than she ever went on stage with, but it’s beautiful. It’s a dark green, two piece dress, with her stomach naked. Her shoulders and arms are free from fabric, and only her front is covered and wrapped around her neck. The lower part reaches down to her ankles and is more layered, but has a slit so that her long legs can be seen from time to time.
“I know, I know, my girlfriend’s the best. You should be on stage for the sound check, Black.” McKinnon’s voice comes from the door and Sirius doesn’t spare them a look and just flies to room before Marlene can show her girlfriend what an amazing person Mary is.
Emmeline and James are talking with someone from the staff and Remus is going over his sound check with Frank.
It's at that moment that Sirius realises they don’t know where Benjy’s guitar is, so she walks towards Remus. Frank sees her coming before Remus does and excuses him.
Remus looks up with a confused expression but smiles the second he sees her. “Where is Benjy’s guitar?”
The taller man just frowns and takes off his headphones and hangs them over his shoulder. “Hm?”
As Sirius opens their mouth to repeat her question, Remus’ amber eyes fall on her lips and take her breath away.
“W-where is Benjy’s guitar?” She asks in a low voice that Remus shouldn’t be able to hear with all the sounds around them.
“Oh! Em has it.”
He turns back to Frank and puts the headphones back over his ears and it’s just then that Sirius remembers that Remus was reading her lips.
Remus has a hearing loss and without his hearing aids he understands as good as nothing.
Well, that was a little embarrassing but whatever.
——————
The pre show ritual is completely different from what Sirius knows from their own performances. But everyone makes sure to include them as best as possible.
Remus’ fans are completely losing it, once they realise that it’s Sirius on the stage. They are often seen together in public, sometimes just in the park and sometimes together on the red carpet. They also often visit the others' shows, if their schedules allow it.
Sirius has the best time on stage. The music flows through her body and the crowd is absolutely amazing. They scream the songs from the top of their lungs and dance when the songs are a bit upbeat.
Remus is completely different once he sets a foot on stage. It’s like the lights are just shining for him and he’s glowing in the screams of his fans.
She couldn’t be more proud of her best friend and to be on stage with them is an absolute honour.
“So,” Remus says into his microphone and everyone’s attention is just on him. “We only have one song left.”
The crowd goes wild at that again and Sirius understands it so well, she also doesn’t want this to end. “You’ve been the best crowd we ever had! Thank you so so much for coming!”
He takes a deep breath and lets his eyes wander over the crowd, even though they can only see the first few rows. “And also a big thank you to Sirius Black to take over on such short notice!”
If it’s even possible, the crowd grows louder at that. “You all have been singing so loud all night and dancing and some even crying and I can’t thank y’all enough for the passion you all put into our concert.
Everyone on stage loves you so so much! And I ask you just for the last time tonight, to sing as loud as you possibly can! Let it all out!”
This song is always their closing song on that tour, so everyone knows what’s coming. James and Sirius already start the song instrumental.
“Thank y’all so so much for coming! Give it up for the last time for my amazing band!”
Remus screams over the crowd and music.
“James on the drums and Emmeline and Sirius on the guitar! My name’s Remus Lupin and-”
Sirius didn’t know it’s possible, but the crowd actually doubled up. “This is ‘She Is Beauty We Are World Class’!”
Everyone on stage gives their all for that last song. The whole stadium is lit up in rainbow lights, Emmeline and Sirius are dancing over the stage and James plays the drums as if his life depends on it.
Remus always has a special stage presence and absorbs everyone’s attention. Although he is not moving that much and sometimes even sitting for a few songs. He walks around the stage in a few songs but he’s never a great dancer.
But today, the second they start the song, Remus starts walking around. He interacts with his fans while singing. He walks back and forth to wave at everyone and then the chorus hits.
He starts to jump up and down and even dances around a bit. He turns in circles, with the biggest smile Sirius has ever seen on her best friend’s face.
She knows the song and she has seen it performed before but she wasn’t informed about any changes. Suddenly Sirius finds herself being the spotlight.
“Surrounded by light, surrounded by light
Surrounded by light, surrounded by light
Surrounded by light, surrounded by light
Surrounded, surrounded, surrounded, surrounded by“
Remus sings while only having eyes for her. Thankfully she doesn’t forget to play the guitar in their hands. The crowd grows louder and she hears them screaming for her.
Remus comes over to her and it feels like everything else just disappears around them.
“She is beauty
And we are world-class (Oh)
Forever
We let the feeling last“
He sings it to her face as if he would confess something and her heart beats so fast and the beaming smile on her face gets even bigger.
Somehow they end the performance and Remus embraces her in a crushing hug.
—————
“That was unbelievable!” She exclaims once they’re backstage. Remus still has an arm slung over her shoulders. “Can we talk?”
She makes a sound in agreement and they disappear into Remus’ room. “Thank you for doing it.” The singer says into her neck and squeezes her even tighter.
“You’re very welcome, my love.”
They break apart so they can look into each other’s eyes but not too far, so the hug breaks. Remus swallows visibly. “I-“
“The last song is about me, innit?” A grin sneaks onto her lips. The taller man nods shyly and hides his face back into her neck. “Like almost all of them.”
It’s only a small whisper, but Sirius understands him perfectly. “Remus?”
He lifts his head and his amber eyes are looking into their grey once with such an intensity, it knocks all air out of their lungs.
And without thinking about it any longer, she leans up and intertwines their lips. The kiss is everything she dreamed about and more.

tokrev band au: the fabulous killjoys hcs
(bcs I can't stop thinking about them)
might contain 🐉🍯 and 🐯✂️ (knowing me, I'll probably go off the track, so be warned)
friendly reminder, that angry formed a band w/ mitsuya (vocalist), kazutora (guitarist), akkun (bassist), & himself as the drummer.
the fabulous killjoys is the name I've given them for my doramitsu fic
timelines unspecified, this is completely random.
contrary to popular belief, kazutora is very poetic. he found writing songs to be a very good outlet for his buried emotions. but he never wanted to take credits when he showed his "it's just half-finished" songs to his band mates. it's always ended up to be a collaborative work.
angry could play several music instruments. actually, he was really multi-talented. but why did he pick drum? because smiley once said that the instrument was channeling his personality.
smiley surprisingly didn't do well with music, but he made a great manager.
akkun helped kazutora most while the band was making music. his name was often credited along kazutora. kazutora started the song, but akkun helped to finish them, most times. maybe because they hung out a lot and they basically shared the same music taste.
they eventually started dating afterwards. it made any musical differences between them cease to exist, though they're still bickering regularly on a daily basis, especially when they're practicing.
It was a complete accident that mitsuya got to be the vocalist. if there was anything someone could be thankful for, then it would be mikey for regularly hosting toman karaoke party. mitsuya had a great voice, but he actually didn't like to perform much.
kazutora brought his guitar one day to the karaoke party & he sang the acoustic rendition of mitsuya's fave song. mitsuya sang along without meaning to, but everyone clearly enjoyed the impromptu performance. even told him (& kazutora) to perform again, the next time.
when angry proposed the idea of forming a band, the one who helped him gather the personnel was smiley. smiley really got some good insights on who would be fitting for angry.
kazutora suggested akkun to join them, and angry initially thought it was merely favoritism, but akkun did know how to play in harmony with kazutora. mitsuya+kazutora had always been angry's first choice.
they used the back room of d&d motors to practice. draken offered the place since he actually liked to watch them practice, and the boys were pitching to pay him back, but draken refused with, "be rich and famous, guys, and we can talk about the payback 😁👍🏻"
mitsuya often joked that it's a good thing, he was the vocalist since he didn't need to spend any money on the musical instruments. the statement is said so lightly, but everyone knows the implication behind it.
they all agree that they'll teach mitsuya their instrument.
mitsuya is really talented in many things, but playing instruments (or in this case, learning to play them) was never his strong suit. despite the personality, kazutora is the most patient when it comes to tutor mitsuya to play guitar and keyboard.
smiley always comes when his brother is practicing. he'll just hang out with them and watch them, didn't say much but he clearly enjoyed their performance. smiley once said to mitsuya, that he's happy his brother found a new hobby that he genuinely loved.
mitsuya packed them home-made snacks for when they were taking a break. kazutora often protested that draken and smiley (and sometimes inupi) shouldn't get any from mitsuya, since they're not the band members.
it's an argument kazutora would never win because:
draken: "boyfriend's privilege"
smiley: "brother's privilege"
inupi: "I worked here and just so you know, I cleaned this room several times after you guys bounced."
draken: "that's because I told you to."
inupi: "I still did it, didn't I?"
the first mini-album they created, was being distributed among toman members. pah is responsible for hooking them up with a professional recording label. and smiley actually learned about the contract and such, for the sake of his brother.
mitsuya designed many jackets for them to wear for their gigs. the design followed the song they performed. he only made two extras, for smiley and for draken. the two would be easily spotted at the venue, wearing matching jackets like a couple of hardcore fans.
akkun styled them all, he and mitsuya worked as a duo in shaping the style for the band. mitsuya grew closer to akkun that way, to the point that they have inside jokes the other members could not understand (kazutora is slightly jealous of this lol)
hakkai is responsible for the founding of the fabulous killjoys fanclub. mitsuya was embarrassed when he found out hakkai had been campaigning for his band to as many people he could reach to the point that they could form a fanclub. draken is amused with the whole thing.
their band almost need no security, when the whole member of toman is attending 😂 mikey never specifically told them to attend the shows, but most members come because they genuinely want to see the captains/vice captains to perform.
will add more if I have more thoughts.

Hello!! I love all these suggestions you guys find! I was wondering if you knew of any Band AUs? Like Crowley learns to play electric guitar over centuries and eventually starts his own band or like he loves playing music and sings about azi a lot and thats how he confesses? Sorry i know that sounds very specific but just anything along the lines of Band AU is great thanks!! If not i can always write my own xD
Hi! Here are some band AU fics for you...
greatest hits by attheborder (M)
“But my dear, I just can’t believe you never told me that you had joined a musical group. I would have come out to support you— at your gigs!”
“First of all, never say ‘gigs’ again. Second of all, not my fault you never noticed when I showed up to dinner with a great big guitar case slung over my shoulder.”
(Aziraphale accidentally discovers Crowley’s secret: he was in a band in the 90s. And he wrote a whole album of love songs…)
Private Gig by madrabbitgirl (NR)
Aziraphale is on a miserable date with Gabriel, his most recent Grindr mistake, and is considering breaking things off when a sweaty musician in tight trousers appears before him, basically making the decision a snap. Aziraphale hasn't seen Crowley in a few decades, but their reunion is... passionate to say the least. Will they ever talk about why they stopped speaking in the first place? How does a stuffy bookseller go about dating a rock star?
Reunion by snae_b (E)
Aziraphale runs into an ex that he's never quite fallen out of love with.
Never Have I Ever (Been Myself) by FeralTuxedo (M)
Aziraphale Fell, BAFTA-winning actor of stage and screen, is bored. Bored of playing middle-aged divorcees in dull BBC dramas. Bored of answering the same questions on chat shows and breakfast television. Bored of keeping the real him hidden away. So when the opportunity presents itself to collaborate with up-and-coming rock band Witching Hour, he takes it, against his own common sense and the condescending advice of his agent. Witching Hour’s mysterious guitarist Crowley, flame-haired, moody, and a good fifteen years his junior, certainly seems worth the risk.
A human actor/rock star AU.
Soho by Lurlur (E)
Aziraphale lives a quiet kind of life, running a quiet specialist bookshop in one of the liveliest districts of London. He's content with his lot, happy with his friends, tolerant of his probably-human housemate, living vicariously through the gossip pages.
One day, a chance encounter with Anthony Crowley, lead singer of wildly successful rock band The Demons, threatens to turn his whole world upside down.
Win a Date With Anthony J. Crowley! by Caedmon (E)
Crowley is a world-famous rock star who sells out arenas. His name is synonymous with 'rock-n-roll', and he thrives on the spotlight. When he agrees to raffle off a date with himself for charity, he's expecting to meet an overzealous fan that wants to wear his skin and very well might try to roofie him. What he's not expecting is to be instantly attracted to the quiet man with the unusual name who shows up for the date at the Ritz... and he's certainly not expecting for Aziraphale to have no clue who he is...

DMA'S praise 'amazing' Louis Tomlinson: "He's really cool, we respect him a lot"
Louis previously cited DMA'S as a heavy influence on his second solo album Faith in the Future
OFFICIAL CHARTS
By Carl Smith | 5 April 2023
When we spoke to Louis Tomlinson ahead of the release of his Number 1 album Faith in the Future last year, he couldn't have been more complimentary about collaborators DMA'S.
The Sydney rock three-piece - comprising Johnny Took, Tommy O'Dell and Matt Mason - inspired tracks like All This Time on Louis' second solo record after striking up a relationship with the One Direction star back in 2019; and the band would 'love' to see a team-up soon.
Chatting exclusively to Official Charts around the release of their brand-new LP How Many Dreams?, DMA'S guitarist Johnny explains how Louis influenced a track on their 2020 album THE GLOW.
"We got in the studio with Louis the first time we met him," says Johnny. "We sat around playing music; we played him some tracks off THE GLOW and played him the demo of Cobracaine.
"He’s obviously got a really great ear for pop music – and music in general – and he was like ‘maybe you should get to the chorus quicker.’ Just a little comment like that really helped. It was a good call, as a structural thing. We thought ‘yeah, we should get to the chorus quicker,’ and it ended up sticking."
When we tell him we admire DMA'S openness to working with an artist like Louis where many rock bands might have pre-judged his pop beginnings, Johnny explains: "When you’ve reached the heights that Louis’ reached, you’d have to be a little bit ignorant or naïve not to realise how much amazing stuff he’s picked up along the way. That’s my favourite thing.
"If I get into the studio with somebody who’s 10 years younger or 10 years older than me, I learn something new every time. That’s the great thing about any musicians getting together in a room; you just start talking and discover things through that discussion.
"Louis’ an amazing guy. He put me on the door for his gig in Melbourne, and I went backstage. We’d just played that same venue a few months before, and it was great to see him in Sydney. He’s just such a good guy. I love the way he champions young musicians. I really respect that.
"Louis’ really cool, I don’t have a bad word to say about that guy. He’s an amazing songwriter, too."
And Louis isn't the only 1D lad to have impressed Johnny and his DMA'S bandmates. Liam Payne's also an artist the group admire.
"It was the same when I first met Liam," says Johnny. "He was the same as Louis; they’re these guys that are up on this level, but they love guitar music and music in general. They’re open to championing young bands, those bands that are smaller than them, and lifting them up. They’re passionate about the music and that’s what it’s all about; everyone lifting everyone up."
[The above text has been edited.]
“It was the same when I first met Liam Gallagher," says Johnny. "He was the same as Louis; they’re these guys that are up on this level, but they love guitar music and music in general. They’re open to championing young bands, those bands that are smaller than them, and lifting them up. They’re passionate about the music and that’s what it’s all about; everyone lifting everyone up."
So we can see a DMA'S and Louis collab at some point, right?
"I’d love to," beams Johnny. "That’d be awesome."
Speaking to Official Charts about his admiration of the Aussie trio last year, Louis said: "I loved DMA’s last album THE GLOW, which Stuart Price produced. That has dance elements in it but was done in a really authentic way.
"It doesn’t feel remotely contrived or like a f**king made-for-radio pop-dance hybrid. That was really food for thought for me throughout the process.
"They’re amazing. I’ve been lucky enough to meet them a few times. Johnny [Took] came to one of my shows in Australia. They’re just really f**king lovely lads, great blokes. They’re an amazing live band."
Catch DMA'S performing at Y Not? Festival in Pikehall, Derbyshire this July.
DMA'S new album How Many Dreams? is out now via I OH YOU/MUSHROOM GROUP.
