hey you people from Music Tumblr, pls help me: I found this guitar on the street that nobody wanted and it was missing two strings and so I took it home with me, bought strings for it, and put them on. Mind you this is the first time I ever did such a thing so I had to rely on a yt toutorial. Everything was going GREAT until... the E string. It was the last one I put on and putting it on worked just as well as it did with the other strings, but as soon as I tried to tune it (read: tighten it) there was a loud sound and it loosened!
At first I thought, oh no it snapped! But it didn't. There was something else going on. I thought hm maybe I cut it off too short at the top and it slipped out of the hole? But that didn't happen either, not as far as I could see anyway. I tried to tighten it again, but every time when I got to a certain point, it loosened with a loud off-key noise.
Is this guitar forever broken? Is this why nobody wanted it and it was left out in the street? can I play guitar with five strings? pls help, I am sadge.

god i cannot stand the specific flavor of metal music that's just like. "here's some noises that happen to be made with guitars". like the opening to devildriver's I Have No Pity is. i mean.
musically i cannot tell what the intent here is. it's like. guitarist recorded himself warming up and put it in the song. idk

im like 90% convinced that the Doctor is of the same species that the Toymaker and Maestro are
#doctor who#doctor who spoilers#they can hear the music of the show itself#the fourth wall breaks#they were found by a portal that could've led from anywhere#in a season where theyre outright saying EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED#why else would we suddenly be seeing the Toymaker again#and now Maestro- his child#both of whom exhibit the same fourth wall breaking powers#this also isnt the first time#10 broke the fourth wall- thinking specifically of his staring into the camera in Family of Blood#and 12 implied he could hear the show's music when he played the intro on the guitar#the big question for me would be what is the thing the Doctor has power over#what does the Doctor personify#if Toymaker = play and Maestro = music#what does the Doctor equal?#workshopping the idea that its memory#stay tuned I may elaborate after I think this over some more
