It’s Only Celluloid (But Mick Likes It)
- Jagger Returns to Acting in “The Burnt Orange Heresy”
You’ve seen Mick Jagger on the big screen in a cavernous stadium, now you can catch him on the big screen in a cozy movie house.
Making his first major film appearance since 2001’s “The Man from Elysian Fields,” Jagger portrays art dealer Joseph Cassidy in director Giuseppe Capotondi’s drama “The Burnt Orange Heresy.”
Oddly enough, the film is not about Donald Trump, who personifies a burnt-orange heresy.
As Cassidy, Jagger, rocking slicked-back hair and an open-collar, beige suit, says he’s seeking “redemption, embezzlement and forgery” in a short trailer for the film.
The movie, also starring Claes Bang, Elizabeth Debicki and Donald Sutherland, opens March 26 in Los Angeles and New York.
