I just saw the post about teaching your grandmother the members of NCT and I relate so much, I learnt WayV apart and I wanna start on probably 127 next but like i’m at 3-4 members and I’m kinda daunted 😔. I really wanna know the whole group by the comeback tho, so any tips? Atm my most consistent tactic is watching a random compilation or two, but that only worked for Johnny and sometimes Yuta and I think the rest are a little more visually similar at first pass, unless you know another member or two in the group who are very visually unique that would help too 🥺.

ah it’s so hard learning members when their concepts change so much! like my nana tried to learn by their hair and Im like that’ll be different tomorrow, don’t do that. i learned by watching a lot of the nct life videos, you get a nice feel for the individual members, and then dance practice videos. watching the dances can help you identify someone you can’t necessarily see clearly, like yuta has very fluid, precise movements and when he jumps, looks like he’s floating more than jumping. he has such a perfect control over his movements. taeyong has very sharp way of moving. compilation videos are good, so you can see more one on one, like i had a bit of trouble identifying jungwoo after he was added, but you soon realize he’s the one that sort of talks sideways (if you watch him, you’ll know what I mean) with the most intense puppy eyes. johnny is obviously tall as shit. ten has a picture perfect smile. you can hear mark laugh from 10 miles away, and has sparkly baby eyes. jaehyun has lil vampire teeth and cute dimples. i guess it just depends on what you’re watching and finding the specific thing that is just THEM and not something that members across the board have.
