so as it turns out if you turn off overdraft protection this means that the bank will no longer pay for your failed transactions when you have insufficient funds HOWEVER it will still fine you when this happens because well. it wants money obviously lol. and it's allowed to do this.

#guess who just closed their 9 year old account over this 🥳#the teller was so funny. to me. like i had rehearsed and she could tell i had rehearsed so she really had to just be along for the ride #and she was noooot surprised when my line of careful questioning ended at ok well can we settle up & then can you help me close my account #i was a third generation patron of that bank 🤯#it's the nearest bank to my house #it was my first bank #also quite possibly my last bank #i took a complimentary water bottle and when i got in the parking lot i drank the whole thing #and i said now it's done now it's done it's done now #so that's that #adam yaps
