Barcelona - Gaudí? No :) Disneyland? No :) Alice in the wonderland? No :) We’re still in Havana!! After 3 years of living here, the weather conditions were finally just right (cloudy day, perfect temperature and no wind) so we rode our @retrobikes_bykenzel to visit artist Jose Fuster and his Fusterlandia neighborhood in a local fisherman’s village Jaimanitas (on the outskirts of Havana). It’s an incredible work of art - he transformed the whole neighborhood and created mosaics not only on his house but also on his neighbors houses. He even decorated the bus stops around the area. This place reminds me a lot of Gaudi’s Guell Park in Barcelona and also Parque de enamorados (Lovers Park) overlooking the ocean in Miraflores in Lima, Peru. To my surprise, I even found a perfect house to buy in Havana - that has already my name on it @dianamrazi - I know that it’s a tribute to Princess Diana, but hey, she’s doesn’t live in Havana, and I do! It certainly does look like a fairytale house where princess 👸🏻 should live. If you look around the area, there are so many beautiful details and messages to read on the walls that spread ❤️ & harmony, so if you come to visit, make sure you have enough time to explore it well.
