Ok, so I just binge read the (K)night guard series after loosing interest in the fandom for a while and my muse is going feral trying to see if I can make fanfiction meshing my little world with your amazing worldbuilding.

I'm pretty sure I have everyone's personality straight in my head, but Mari is a tricky character to write, so I've got a question to ask:

If Mari were to encounter someone (or something) with more magical oomph than him, some outside force older and stronger than him, how would he react? (The story, if I ever publish it, would take place pre-Ghost Strings)

Lost it at 'going feral.' That's a good descriptor for me trying to write and manage plot things. I feel this.

Secondly, OOF WELL. Interesting.

Mari is utmost, at his core, a scheming little devil. Even with the Crying Child powering him he is, unfortunately, very Afton-like. Pre!GS Marion would be close to Mike but not as much as he is during the third fic. During Devil's Spine/London Bridge, he's friendly with Mike but still considers him a tool for Golden Freddy. He's willing to step in when Mike is over his head, but otherwise expects Mike to handle most things--especially when Mike befriends the other animatronics. If Marion thought there was something for the restaurant to gain by manipulating this other entity, he would likely try it (more powerful or not. Which could be reckless as hell.) Although he's distant, Mari can be possessive of his restaurant/his boundaries/the animatronics. He is one of the few animatronics that can leave the building without needing special work/help, but ultimately chooses not because he is so territorial. Mike teaches him to 'let down his strings once in a while', and it could be argued that Marion would appear uncaring to a more powerful big bad. (This is an act, of course. Foxy might see through it--he has seen Alexander pretend to not be scared plenty of times.) Very aloof and catlike, certainly. The more affectionate he is to Mike, the more his initial aggressiveness increases when he feels jealous--still learning Emotions and Morality as it iwere.

alrighty so in my hooman au  Freddy, Goldie, Nedd, and Frank are brothers with their dad; Fred recently disappearing they go on with their lives.  Frank- (Rockstar Freddy) he’s overcome with greed and gambles a lot, he tends to be the Grunkle Stan almost from gravity falls, he has a arcade machine business which is right next to Freddy’s pizzeria. he used to be in a rock band but we don’t talk about it.  Nedd- (Nedd bear) he’s a goofy uncle, probably a redneck, you can see him wearing a cowboy hat and boots at your local bar. nothing much else to say other than he’s in a stand up comedic gang called; The Mediocre Melodies. Goldie- (Golden Freddy) He’s the youngest, he hates it and has a jealousy of how much Freddy had achieved and how he hasn’t, he plans one day to be better than his older brother and someday even ruin his business. He has 3 little rascals, Timmy, Tommy, and Tammy (the Freddles) and are the craziest little gremlins you can ever meet.  Freddy- papa  b e a r , he runs a local pizzeria with Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. he’s the oldest of 4 which is Nedd (Neddbear), Frank (Rockstar Freddy), and Goldie (Golden Freddy). The Father of all of them is Fred (Fredbear) But we don’t talk about him after his mysterious disappearance. Freddy over his father’s disappearance adopts 4 sons which he loves very deeply.  He can be a helicopter parent at times, and wants the best for each of them.

Jingles (FT Freddy) The Oldest, the goofiest, and the most childish of all of them, but he will punch you if you hurt any of his brothers or Bon Bon. He's the jokester and prankster of the whole family, he takes it from his uncle; Nedd. Even with a prosthetic arm he has a passion for being a stand-up ventriloquist or comedian with Bon Bon!

Francis (Toy Freddy)-The gamer of the family, the one Freddy is always a helicopter parent around, he really wants Francis to be safe, Francis has a nintendo switch, xbox, and vr set and is very protective of all of them, he's very social distant yet he loves to sing, he's probably the best singer out of all of them, yet he keeps it a secret until Freddy finds him singing in the shower and buys him a karaoke machine because he too was a performer and sung at many places in his younger days.

Leo (Lefty) the most boring, yet angsty teen you can ever find in the world, he hates everyone and everything, Freddy took him under his wing as he found him literally crying on the side of the road, Freddy is just a good dad, he wishes he could be more supportive to Leo especially, Leo has been through so much, he's an insomniac, and literally can't stand when Jingles wakes up in the middle of the night and bawls about all the lucky charms gone, I swear Leo is just a angsty teen who been through too much, he has trauma.

Ollie (Helpy) This is the whiz kid of the family, he's a A+ student for his whole small 8 year old life, he's about to be in 7th grade next year if he keeps this up, Freddy keeps pushing Ollie to be the best of the best, but sometimes Ollie wants to be like everyone else, especially his brothers, he wants to be goofy, and angsty, and everything that he isn't. he just wishes Freddy didn't push him too hard...
