BOOK REVIEW: Dear Ijeawele, or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen                                  Suggestions by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie RATING: 5/5

WOW. 

Have you predicted that this is gonna be the first thing that I would say? Yes. WOW. Adichie never fails to amaze me. She did it in We Should All be Feminists, and she did it again in her most recently published work, Dear Ijeawele. Once again, Adichie managed to write an eye-opener and such an important, yet a completely and very much readable essay on feminism - which is a fairly important and relevant topic. Here, she tackles soooooo many issues and problems regarding gender - misogyny, patriarchy, beauty standards, gender roles - all of which are very very noticeable and prominent in our world. That being said, I declare that it is indeed very important to eradicate these existing toxics. And while she tackles such heavy topics, she communicates with her readers using a language that is very understandable. Once again, WOW. I could say no more. All I know is that this is a very important read and every single living person in the world should read this. . .BECAUSE IT’S WORTH I. Definitely, Adichie is an author to watch out for.

BOOK REVIEW: We Should All be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie RATING: 5/5

First, I can't explain how important this book is. IT'S JUST SO IMPORTANT. Second, I think everyone, men and women alike, should definitely read this one. Third, WOW.

This book talks about feminism and what it means in the 21st century. At first it goes on talking about how the word "feminist" is being misinterpreted by lots of people, and then it continues on talking about the problem with genders. The author mentioned lots of situations and stuffs relating to gender inequality. This is such an eye-opener. This book will just show you that you might not know that problems with genders are existing, but they are. And you might not see how important it is that we solve this problem, but it is. I think problem with genders is something that we should really solve and I also think that it will only be possible to solve it if the people are aware that such problem is existing. This book is really short, very easy to read,and is very straight to the point and I highly recommend reading this.
