Big misconception about boundaries: they are for yourself, not other people. You can tell someone that something makes you uncomfortable and hopefully they'll care enough not to do it, but you should never rely on that hope. You set a boundary for yourself. If they do something after you have stated your feelings, then respect your own boundary and disengage.
#ooc : the mortal#so you know#people need to learn to want to communicate instead of relying on assumptions#and when boundaries are concerned if you have any smidge of care for the other person then offer them a space of grace if they get curious#about it and if they show interest in learning#we speak the same language but we don't have the same internal interpretation. that's why we gotta talk shit out#if all parties care then work things out. if someone doesn't care? grieve them. grieve what has been and what could have been...#do your best to move on to better people#own yourself. hold onto your principles values and boundaries. offer grace. people are not a monolith...#obvi if someone makes fun of your boundaries that's just an asshole move#but sometimes your boundary can trigger someone else's boundary. when that happens have the humility to talk further about it#ask about compromises if the other person wishes to disengage. get curious. we honestly have to stop assuming we comprehend the same#because we are all extremely different based on our individual experiences alone. again - we are not a monolith#we each give each other pieces of a puzzle of mutual understanding. we are limited and ever growing#we will be a wip for the rest of our lives. there is no end in sight except death or health issues that can prevent#growth in a certain direction. create a world of compassion with others. lord knows we don't live in one. we gotta make it together#and hopefully leave it for the people that come after us

The Great Library was a vast enough eldritch realm that there were enough room for smaller pockets for magic to carve out enclaves of spirit sanctuaries within them, and establish little pocket realms loosely tethered to the rest of the Library; close enough, so to speak, that you could walk through a door in the Library and into someone’s personal realm with ease and comfort, but distinct enough that the all seeing eyes of the spirit that commanded the Library had no actual influence or power there.
He probably didn’t care what anyone did, as long as it was not misusing his knowledge or stealing it, but it paid to be cautious around spirits… divorced from understanding of humans, or so Raven understood. Magnus had taught her this with some urgency when she was young; she knew that spirits were more direct than mortals. They were a purpose and domain given its own form, and did not understand the complexities and changes that a human did. Some dealt with this magnanimously, such as spirits of righteous concepts like Valor or Honor. Some, like the great knowledge spirit of this Library, regarded mortals as hopelessly treacherous and insane, as lost as the tides upon the ocean. And he had told her scary bedtime stories about entities like Koh the Face Stealer, and those like him altogether too interested in mortal weakness, taking the faces and perspectives of mortals to experience it for themselves.
Ever since she was small, long before she had ever towered over him and everyone else, Raven had always listened closely to him. One day, a red giant with one eye had taken in a half-demon girl, on perhaps a whim or a stirring of compassion within his heart, and a longing for a father who had long since left into the ether.
To Raven, the demon Trigon was a monster. A nightmare that even the great demonic Who’s Who tomes refused to talk about in detail. Talking grimoires clammed up, stifling their screaming voices, and would say nothing of him. He was many things in her mind; a looming inevitability, something she would have to take care of, a reminder that she had been born wrong. But he was not Father to her.
When Raven thought ‘Father’, she saw a giant of a man, with a great mane of feathered red hair, a single shifting eye. Always a word for the curious, sarcastic snarking for the unwise, and moments of childish pique… but always kind with her, patient and encouraging her talents no matter how they might frighten her, or she frighten others.
The sanctuary of Magnus the Red, his students, and those he had named sons and daughters, they lived within a realm partially modeled after many worlds he had taken a liking to, an ever shifting magical wonderland of infinite possibilities, and the multiverse’s most complicated antique shop. Buildings lay within this realm at odd angles to one another, streets sticking out around invisible trajectories to create mountains of buildings all twisting around one another, and talking raven-spirits flapping about to make sarcastic comments at people.
Presently she and Magnus were within his own sanctum, a place of power to preserve his incorporeal form and make him properly solid for a while and stabilize his powers a bit. It pleased him to follow her whim to make it look like a giant T-letter. Within it, they were having a meeting.
“Sit, my child,” he said, squatting down upon a heavy mat in the fashion of his homeworld from lost antiquity, Prospero. Raven sat in precisely the same way, her gargantuan backside serving the role of a chair. Awkwardly, she pulled her heavy cloak over herself, trying to wear it like he did and she had some trouble. Her chest was getting in the way. Granted, he was quite broad in the chest but not quite in the same way she was.
She was, in every way, a loving daughter who wanted nothing more than to be like her father. Not Trigon. Magnus.
He looked fondly at her, but also sadly.
“There is…” he started, and stopped. He fumbled for the words. “Ah. ...You are well, today? My child?”
Raven nodded demurely. “Yes, father. I am well. The nightmares of…” she shifted anxiously. “Well, you know. I am not dreaming of that anymore. I suppose the medicine worked?”
“That’s good to hear. Yes, good. Er…” he looked awkward again. “I think I know what was causing those nightmares.”
“You do? I thought the general idea was that… he… was growing in power and was attempting to contact me through my dreams.”
“I had thought so too, and that is indeed the case. However… I may have unintentionally given him a route, of sorts.”
Raven’s face, as red as his own, paled into a grayish horror. “You, you what?”
“Not on purpose!” He waved a great hand anxiously. “I was studying a summoning spell for him!”
“Oh dear lord…”
“Not to summon him, not at all! I was simply trying to find out his name!” He sighed. “I don’t want to have to wait for him to make the first move. When we face him, and we will, I swear to you, I want it on our terms. But I needed more information; his name, something to use to track his realms of power or fiendish armies, a way to figure out his cults in the material realm. So I was decoding his summoning spell, working out the programming in it, so to speak.”
Raven calmed down, a bit. A summoning spell ,of the classic ‘call up something into a circle’, was effectively the magical version of messaging someone with the bonus of making them materialize under certain controls. What he was talking about was theoretically possible, and she had no doubt he could do it.
“Then, you have his name?”
Magnus bowed his head. “Yes. I have a name, of great importance to him. The seed of his existence.”
“You do!? What is it?”
He hesitated. “Raven… this is… ah. Look, I called you here to tell you this because we both know the day will soon come when you will have to face him. Sooner or later, he will press that matter, and I intend to see you slay him and take his power for your own. But… now, there is something else. I have to fight him. Not just because I want to, for your sake.”
Raven frowned. “I’m not sure I understand. Do you not have his name?”
“I do. And that is what worries me.” He sighed. “Daughter, you understand that many ages ago, I was… very, very badly hurt.”
She recalled her history lessons. “The Thousand Sons teach that in ages past, your essence was shattered into many shards. Each one containing a portion of yourself.”
“Yes. And in order to retain me, my shards sought each other ought and enough recombined to allow me to keep my mind. And I was badly weakened, as most of my power was scattered. And over time, I found more of them, becoming more whole and powerful… but I never did find them all.”
“The best of you remained as the core aspect, and over time, you found more pieces of yourself,” she said.
“Yes! Very good. Now tell me, how many shards do you think a soul would break into? Bearing in mind that the soul is, by its nature, indivisible and infinite.”
She considered this riddle. “I would think that there is no limit. You could have any number of shards, and since the soul encompasses all you are and COULD be, you might have many, each comprising a minute facet of your being. Is that not so?”
“Indeed. And as I embody the magical potential of humanity as a whole, and therefore multitudes, I could be stretched farther than mortals would be.” Magnus tapped his chest, a nail clicking against one of the spike/horns growing from his chest. “So how many do you think I was reduced to?”
Raven took a guess. “Hrm. A few hundred?”
He winced. “Selling me a bit short there.”
“...A thousand?”
“I wish. More manageable and I enjoy the theming. But no.”
“Father, I don’t know. How many did you break into.”
He looked up, his face weary with an ancient ache. “Trillions. More.”
“Trillions!?”
“I broke apart into so many pieces, each one aware, if barely. Some larger and more powerful. Others less so, but each one an aspect of me. When some of these shards found one another, they fused into what I am now; myself, if not quite whole at least stable. And there were still vast gaps in my being, for eons I searched but never found them all.”
Raven leaned forward, eyes wide and fearful. “Father… do you mean that… oh, are you alright? Are you hurting, even now?!”
“Don’t worry, dear child. I have become whole, over time. The soul is a growing thing, and experience, understanding, growth? I have found all that. I have changed, and so my soul has healed itself. My power is weaker, yes, I would have to fuse with my shards to truly regain my full power, but my being, the essence of what makes me who I am? I have grown into a new Magnus, and made myself whole. I fixed myself, you see.”
Raven sighed, looking relieved. “I was worried there, Father. And, why do you tell me this?”
His single eye narrowed gravely. “You must know that, therefore, many of these shards are still out there. Most are just pockets of raw potentiality, unlikely to do more than exercise random magic. No mind there, just a sense of will. But some, with more essential aspects in the beginning, took on their own life.”
“And, if you grew back into someone…” Raven pondered this. “Then perhaps they have grown into something else as well?”
“You have it! And for the most part, this is not so bad. Some of them are harmless. Others, mutated into dangerous monsters that I must find and slay. But others embodied… terrible aspects of who I was. Spiteful tendencies, vindictiveness, thoughts of wanting to be extremely important, and overwhelming arrogance.”
Raven loved her adoptive father, but she was also realistic. “Thank goodness you left all that behind,” she said sarcastically.
“Yes, it’s rather a good job, isn’t it?” Magnus replied proudly, quite blind to it. “But those parts of myself are still out there. They are still in existence, and over time… I believe they found one another. All the worst in me, coming together without a single aspect of the parts of me that knew compassion… trust, love, the need for other people and a desire to help. Everything, in short, that makes me human.”
Raven frowned. “And those shards might have grown, as you have.”
Magnus’ expression was terribly blank. “This is no hypothetical situation. I can prove it.” He pulled out a roll of parchment, and upon it were many things, but at the bottom:
A summon spell, decoded in messy script, and below it, was the name of Magnus.
“Father?” Raven took it and studied it. “This spell… your name is the central part of it? What is it?”
“A summoning spell for the demon who sired you,” Magnus said grimly. “This is what I’ve been studying, and he used that to try to pinpoint your location. I’ve created wards so he cannot do that now, but I’ve learned his origin.”
Raven tried to work this out. “Okay, but what do you have to do with-”
The shards of myself can grow…
Pieces of myself, the very worst in me, without any shred of humanity or compassion…
Father’s name, on the parchment. On a summoning spell for Trigon.
Evil pieced together, without any room for goodness in there, evolving… growing… and demons, fiends, were just what happened when evil took on a face and a will.
And Trigon looked so very much like Magnus the Red.
Raven paled again. “Oh dear, sweet Primus.”
Magnus shuffled away from her. “Please… Raven. Understand, I am not Trigon! And he is not me! I-”
“But he was made from a piece of you,” she said, understanding dawning. She forced herself to calm down.
This is Father. It has always been Father.
He is not the monster you fear.
She remembered a great red hand, always at her shoulder. Giving her treats. A warm voice, making snide comments at the more fussy Thousand Sons. Always standing up for her, and so kind to her mother…
Father.
Raven tried not to think about the terrible feelings welling up, the confusion and random surges of fear, and silenced them. Deal with them later, she told herself. She wiped away tears. “I’m sorry, Father,” she said meekly. “I.. I don’t… this, this isn’t your fault…!”
What have I done to Father? He must think so terribly of himself…!
Magnus’ face curled in horror. “My fault!? I, no! This isn’t about me, this is about you! The demon that plagues you, he is my fault! Now, more than ever, it is my responsibility to help you end him.”
“Does that mean… you can become more whole by making him fuse with you? Will that help you?”
Magnus shook his head. “No. We’ve been apart for so long that I haven’t the faintest idea what he has become. A fiend, yes, but apart from that? He’s certainly far less human that I ever was, and I suspect he’s evolved into something else entirely. I’m more interested in how you can help yourself by… hrm, how do i put this delicately… ‘absorbing him’, I suppose?”
“You, you really think that’s a good idea?”
“I trust you, daughter. And whatever power he has, I’d rather have you claim it, and make yourself the best you can be.”
“But, it’s your power!”
He didn’t look at her. Just saying ‘I don’t trust myself to stay me after absorbing him’ was out of the question.
Magnus trusted Raven. He did not trust himself.
“We can end him,” he promised. “Whatever happens after that. We are the key to undoing that monster’s evil. I, the remnant of what he once was a part of. You, the person he made as a vessel. We are in a perfect position to ruin his plans, and for you to become something even greater than you already are!”
Raven bowed her head. “I am willing to try, at least.”
Sometime later…
“And that is the situation,” Magnus said to the assembled Thousand Sons, the Blood Ravens, his other orders, and the human wizards and witches that were allied to him. “Are there any questions?”
A Blood Raven raised his hand.
“Yes? Gabriel Angelos!”
“The plan is still to kill this wretched fiend,” Angelos said. “So apart from a technicality, that the fiend was born from pieces of you, has much actually changed?”
“A lot has changed! It’s a lot more personal than it already was, and it was really damn personal to begin with!”
“Doesn’t sound like much has changed.”
“Oh, shut up and let someone else ask something. You! Tall wizard, the one with red hair.”
A human wizard, red-haired and peeking out of the copious masses of Hermione Granger’s hair, had his hand raised. He was called Ron Weasley, and he had a point to make. “So does this make Lady Raven your actual daughter, or what?”
“She already was,” Magnus said flatly. “Next question.”
“No, no! I mean, adopted, yes, but… biologically! Is she your actual daughter!?”
“We have different meanings of ‘actual. She is my daughter, end of story. Next question?”
“But if she’s Trigon’s daughter, and Trigon is a part of you, is there some kinda, what’s the word, transitive property that make her your kid too?”
“For pity’s sake! No one actually cares!”
Raven raised a hand. “I care, Father.” She smiled at that.
“Oh come on! Don’t tell me you believe that biological parentage is more ‘legitimate’ than adoption!”
“Well, no… but it’s still a nice notion, all the same.”
Magnus sighed. A Thousand Son - Ahriman, perhaps - piped up. “This, I think, makes the Lady Raven Lord Magnus’ first heir!”
“SHE ALREADY WAS!” Magnus bellowed. “It’s even in my completely pointless will!”
“I recommend a grand celebration!” Ahriman continued, ignoring him. “Let us celebrate the downfall of our eldest enemy, and the discovery of a true scion to lead us all!”
“How is he an eldest enemy?” asked a witch; Luna Lovegood, Raven thought. “You’ve only known of his nature for a short while.”
“He is retroactively a greatest enemy,” sad a Blood Raven, with a straight face somehow. “And he was at one point part of Lord Magnus. Everyone knows that Lord Magnus’ greatest enemy is himself.”
“Hey now!” Magnus complained.
“I’m sorry, Father, but they’ve a point,” Raven said.
“Oh gods not you too.”

Your guide to planetary energies for April 29 to May 5, 2019
Your guide to planetary energies for April 29 to May 5, 2019
By Pam Younghans
AS WE TRAVEL THE ROAD that takes us from April to May, three compelling planetary events provide the backdrop for our journey, while a handful of other aspects reveal either smooth stretches or the challenges of uneven pavement.   Two of the more significant events are linked together: Saturn goes retrograde on Monday, and then exactly aligns with the South Node on Tuesday.   WHEN A PLANET comes to a standstill, whether to go retrograde or direct, its influence becomes heightened in our experience. We usually feel this for a week or more on either side of the exact date, since the planet is virtually motionless throughout that time.   Last week, on April 24, Pluto made its station, and this week — on April 29, just five days later — it’s Saturn’s turn to change direction. This overlap of their concentrated energies is making this a very pivotal time. Pluto is the great Transformer, lord of the underworld, and rules over major life transitions, including the passage into the afterlife. Saturn is Father Time, lord of karma, and tests our strength and discipline.   Both planets are in Capricorn, which rules over the structures that we rely on to be solid and strong. Pluto is revealing where certain systems are faulty, while at the same time, Saturn is testing their strength. As a result, we are seeing breakdowns in areas we perhaps had thought were dependable.   In our personal lives, this effect is concentrated in the area of life represented by the house that contains 20 to 23 degrees of Capricorn. If we have planets or points in our birth charts at those degrees, we will most likely be feeling this impact on a very personal level.   THE LONG-TERM IMPLICATION of all of this activity is increased because the South Node is also currently moving through those same degrees of Capricorn. And, in fact, Saturn exactly aligns with the South Node on Tuesday of this week.   The South Node represents our pull into patterns of the past that no longer serve us. While this node is in Capricorn — and especially while it aligns with Saturn — we observe tendencies to fall into the negative qualities that can be associated with both Saturn and Capricorn: fear, control, melancholy, pessimism, resentment, rigidity, selfishness, the suppression of feelings, and a lack of empathy. In essence, the South Node is telling us that the old methods we used to use to survive — basically, putting blinders on to our feelings and perhaps to the emotional needs of those around us — are no longer viable.   THE NORTH NODE, always exactly opposite the South Node, reveals the positive qualities we must develop in order to evolve. With the North Node in Cancer, we are called to become more caring, not less. We are called to choose trust over fear and control, inspiration over pessimism, and understanding over resentment. We are also encouraged to express our feelings instead of suppressing them, and to become more creative and intuitive in our approach to life.   Saturn will align with the South Node one more time this year, on September 27. But, Saturn and the South Node will be joined at the hip throughout August and September, never separated by more than two degrees. This makes that entire two-month period very significant for our collective evolution. At that point, we should be able to look back at late April/early May and see connections between the two time frames, further clarifying the lessons of this alignment.   AS IF our table wasn’t already full enough, our planetary waitstaff deliver another course this coming week. On Wednesday, we have the final (of five) exact semisquares between Uranus and Neptune. This is a very long-term influence, one that we’ve been working with since the middle of 2017. This week represents the culminating experiences related to this aspect, wrapping up its lessons.   While a semisquare is often thought of as being a “minor” aspect, any relationship between two slower-moving planets can be significant. In this case, especially, since Uranus and Neptune are both transpersonal planets, we are considering some deeper questions related to our ongoing process of awakening.   URANUS AND NEPTUNE traveled side-by-side in Capricorn throughout the early 1990s, and were exactly conjunct three times in 1993. Although both of these planets can have substantial impact on our mundane experience, they also help us to transcend the limitations of the physical plane — Uranus working on the level of the mind, and Neptune working on the level of the heart.    In the early ’90s, many of us experienced a sudden and perhaps shocking change (Uranus). Events that occurred may have at first evoked disbelief and disillusionment (Neptune), but over time, they eventually opened the door to new growth in consciousness. Those events woke us up in some way, burning away areas of fog that had been limiting our self-awareness.    THIS SEMISQUARE is the first challenging aspect between Uranus and Neptune since their alignment in 1993. In essence, we are sitting for our first major exam covering everything that we’ve learned spiritually over the past 26 years. We are being required to take another growth step in consciousness, to dissolve another layer of the veil that has separated us from one another and from our divine selves.   Uranus and Neptune are compelling us to expand our capacity for higher-level thought and sensitivity. Our yearning to attain this evolutionary growth deepens every time we experience the lower-vibrational manifestations of the two planets — the erratic and destructive behaviors associated with Uranus, and the deception and disillusionment linked to Neptune.   I feel it’s safe to say we’ve been experiencing a lot of that frequency in the past two years, since this semisquare began to work with us. And, it would be easy to fall into a pit of apathy, based on a sometimes overwhelming feeling of futility. And yet, we want to ask ourselves — what has been (and is) the higher purpose of all of this? This type of question connects us with the higher frequencies of Uranus and Neptune, and opens the door to that next expansion of consciousness which so many of us long to walk through.   A NEW LUNAR CYCLE begins on Saturday, May 4, at 3:45 p.m. PDT, when the Sun and Moon align at 14°10′ Taurus. Significant components of the New Moon chart include a Mercury-Pluto square (exact on Thursday), a Mars-Jupiter opposition (exact on Sunday), a Venus-Saturn square (exact on May 7), and a Sun-Neptune sextile (exact on May 8).   We generally think of peaceful, methodical progress when we consider Taurus. And, certainly, we can use the New Moon in this sign to set our intentions for creating more beauty and serenity in our lives. However, the other aspects tell us that we have a few hurdles to overcome along the way.   MERCURY’S SQUARE to Pluto perfects on Thursday, so we’ll be aware of some differences of opinion and some frustrations toward the end of the week. Anger is easily triggered, especially if we feel we’re not being heard by someone in authority. The verbal push-pull increases over the weekend, magnified by Mars in verbose Gemini opposing Jupiter in dogmatic Sagittarius. The fall-out might affect personal relationships and business alliances by the time of the Venus-Saturn square next week.   Our saving grace appears in a couple of ways: the Sun-Neptune sextile is a subtle influence, but it provides the opportunity for us to tap into the higher qualities of compassion, understanding, and surrender as we deal with practical concerns. This aspect also enables us to provide grounded spiritual support to others. And, next Monday, Mercury leaves impatient Aries and enters stable Taurus, helping slow down our responses and giving us time to think before we act.   IF YOUR BIRTHDAY IS THIS WEEK: This coming year asks you to realign with what you truly value. You are also remembering what it means to take care of yourself — both your emotional well-being and your personal health — even if others expect you to self-sacrifice. This is your opportunity to base your self-esteem on who you are, rather than on what you do, and to know your worth as an individual, not dependent on another’s validation. (Solar Return Sun quincunx Ceres)
In gratitude and light,
Pam

Jeremiah 4:19-6:14, Colossians 1:21-2:7, Psalms 77:1-20, Proverbs 24:23-25
Today is October 5th. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It's great to be here with you today from the lovely rolling hill of Tennessee. And I hope it's a lovely day in the rolling hills of wherever you are or the mountains or the planes or the valleys or the desserts or the coastland of wherever you are. I’m excited that wherever we are we have a place that we can all go around the global campfire as we allow God's word to come washing into our lives for today. So, we’re reading from the Common English Bible this week and we’ll continue our journey in Jeremiah today. Chapter 4 verse 19 through 6:15.
Commentary:
Okay. So, in our reading from Psalm 77 today we saw, in poetic fashion, Asaph who was the author, in great distress as he cried out to God for comfort and for some resolution to what was going on his life. And this Psalm is pertinent to us because, I mean, because we’ve all likely walked through those same kinds of emotional seasons in our lives and in this Psalm six questions were asked. Will my Lord reject me forever? Will He never be pleased again? Has His faithful love come to a complete end? Is His promise over for future generations? Has God forgotten how to be gracious? Has He angrily stopped up His compassion? Okay. So, once again we see the Bible saying out loud the things that we sometimes feel inside, but do not give voice because it will seem ungrateful. But these questions, whether we speak them out loud or whether we just like stuff them deep inside, they find their way into our lives. And it usually happens when we’re feeling the discomfort of crisis, right? Or we’re going through hardship or we’re suffering from loss or from pain or whatever is coming against us. We never ask those kinds of questions, right? Those six questions. We never ask them when things have turned out, right? When things turn out the way you wanted them to turn out, when we think things are going well for us. But when we’re suffering, Asaph’s conclusions often do become our own. His conclusion was, this is…this is my misfortune. It's my misfortune that the strong hand of the most high seems different now. Seems like He's…God's turned against me. So, if this is sounding eerily familiar, then the Bibles speaking. What are we to do when we feel downcast and bewildered like this. The psalmist suggests something that might seem counterintuitive or even unproductive but it's essential. We must stop and remember. In Asaph’s words, I will remember the Lord's deeds. Yes, I will remember Your wondrous acts from times long past. I will meditate on all Your works. I will ponder Your deeds. So, Asaph is suggesting that focusing our energy on remembering God's faithfulness will bring back context, right? Will give us our balance back. And this is not unlike what the apostle said about the peace that passes all understanding. Right? When we closed the letter to the Philippians a couple days ago. Asaph used the remainder of the Psalm to bring his emotions into balance by worshiping God and remembering His faithfulness. So the next time one of those six questions or all of those six questions start filtering into our life experience, go back to your old journals you’ve kept or just sit quietly, still yourself, and remember times when God undoubtedly carried you through a difficult time because He's doing that right now. It’s just hard to see when you're in the thick of it, but it's much easier to see in hindsight. Surely, I thought I was going down but surely I'm still standing here today because God was faithful and brought me through. He will never leave us. We will not be forsaken. The Bible tells us over and over and over and over, His faithful love endures forever. So, that's either true or it's not true. It is true however. And it's true whether we believe it or not. So, we can embrace this, His faithful love endures forever or we can deny it but it's still true. When we deny it in thought, word, or deed we’re simply not participating, we’re not partaking of the gift that is available to us.
Prayer:
Father, we definitely confess that we've had these postures of heart that we read from Asaph in the psalms. We definitely felt this way before. And we take the counsel to stop and remember, slow it down and remember that You have been faithful that You have carried us through difficulties before and You are continuing to carry us now. And in the future we’ll be able to look back on this time and see that You were faithful because Your faithful love endures forever. Come Holy Spirit, bring Your comfort into our lives today. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

dailyaudiobible.com is the website, it's home base, it's where you find out what’s going on around here.
We were just talking about remembering and journaling and that’s something that we’re big on around here. So, we make our way through the Bible, the Bible speaks an awful lot of things into our lives. And it's important that we remember them. But we don't. I mean, we think we’ll never forget but then we forget 10 minutes later. And, so, when we take a few moments out of our day, write down some thoughts, some of the things that stuck out in the Scriptures, some of the interesting things that happened in our lives, we’re creating the story of our lives, we’re telling it as it happens. And we can look at previous chapters, right? We can look back at other seasons exactly like Asaph is suggesting and remember God's faithfulness to us. So, we have the Daily Audio Bible Journal and some great writing utensils in the shop for exactly this, to take this journey through the year and to write down what God speaks to us so that we don't forget and so that we can remember. So, you can check that out in the Daily Audio Bible shop.
If you want to partner with the Daily Audio Bible, you can do that at dailyaudiobible.com as well. There is a link. It’s on the homepage. Thank you, thank you for your partnership. Community Prayer and Praise:
Hello everybody in the DAB, I‘m Steve from Toulouse in France. I’ve called in in the past and it’s been a wonderful answer to prayer for my daughter who was sick at that time. And I know that you’re praying community has very powerfully praying into the lives of individually…individuals around the world. But my request today is not so much for individuals but for a small community church that we have here in Toulouse. I’d like to pray for my little church, church 31, which is a new church that’s come out of mom’s and tot’s group here in Toulouse. So, please pray for our small community of believers who started this new English-speaking church reaching the international community here in France. This church sprang out of mop’s group around four years ago. Currently we need to __ an old railway station somebody donated at no cost to us by the local town’s mayor man in __ in Toulouse. We would like to ask for the DAB community to pray for us as we seek to move to weekly services that are to serve our community in the near future. In this respect, the two additional services we are looking to offer __ needs to be a cafe church format as there are no pastor. We run our weekly services with volunteers many of whom have full-time day jobs. We have a challenge with practical resources. Please pray for God’s leading and direction as we seek to grow and become a weekly meeting church, for the church to be praying church as we move forward in anticipation of the great things to come, for the church to have His holy anointing. Please pray for volunteers to come forward to help. Please pray for the building to be available each week we will need it. Please pray for…
Hi there this is Tony from Germany and I really wanted to just primarily address Max…Mark Streets prayer request. And Mark, I just wanted to tell you that you are such an inspiration to me when you’re doing your prayers for us, when you confess your sins, whatever it is, when you become vulnerable to us. You are an inspiration to me and I’m very certain you’re an inspiration to many many people here in this group and elsewhere. So, when I think of these persistent temptations that we have, I also think of Paul when he spoke about the thorn in his side. What was it that he had such a hard time getting rid of and the Lord let him, I mean, He let that thorn persist. The Lord allowed it to persist because sometimes in our trials and tribulations and frequently that is where our personal growth comes, that is where we come closer to the Lord, that’s where we become more humble, when we lean on the Lord more. So, I thank you for being open to us with your vulnerability. It encourages others to do the same, to come to this group, to ask for prayers. Yesterday I asked for prayers on DAB friends and woo, just so much of my tribulation was lifted. So, that’s the power of this group. God bless you and everybody else here. I’m also thinking of a lien from Victoria. Where are you? I remember you and prayers. Bye-bye everyone.
Hi family this is his little Sharif from Canada with another creative way to pray from the banqueting table of prayer. I’m excited about this one. Halloween is coming up at the end of this month. So, here’s a unique way to pray to pray for the trick-or-treaters who may come to your door. And there’s lots of ways to do that but how about as well as giving them some candy, giving them a prayer blessing to. This is how I did it last year. I gave each child a handful of candy, but I also had a bowl ready full of little notes that I’d made with a simple blessing on it. Actually, I had two bowls, one for young children and one for older kids. And on the notes, I’d written a word or phrase like courage or wisdom or you are strong, you are awesome, you are creative. And for the young kids I tried to make it really simple, just a word. For the older kids I used more mature language, more phrases. But I tried to make each note true without sounding religious and then I decorated them with doodles and words like I do. And, of course, I prayed over them as I made them, asking God to get the right note to the right kid and to speak to them by His Spirit through these simple prayer notes. Well, I wasn’t sure how my prayer blessings would go over but when the kids came to my door and I gave them some candy I asked, would you like a prayer blessing too? And every one of them seemed happy to choose a note and the parents seemed grateful too. So, I had so much fun. And maybe some of you want to try that this year with the trick-or-treaters that come to your door. So, Halloween notes. Another creative way to pray from the banqueting table of prayer. Thank you, family. Bye for now.
Hello DABalonians. This is Kevin in California. It’s been a while, but I heard Jay from Nashville and New Jersey and I was inspired to pray. So, Jay, I‘m a in the same boat as you. I am estranged from my three precious sons, Levi, Moses and Toccoa. And I’m gonna to pray for you. I’m gonna ask that you pray for me because I greatly desire relationship with my sons and I want reconciliation. I don’t know how that will happen but I have faith that it will and I want to pray for you that God would guide you and direct you on your search to find your ex-wife and your child and. And, so, heavenly Father, heavenly Son, heavenly Spirit, I just lift up Jay in his search for You father and I pray that you’d to help him to find his child Lord. Help him to provide for his child like he wants to do and I ask that you bless this godly desire God and I ask for reconciliation even God with peace between his ex-wife and a renewed relationship with this child. God I ask that You would just be more than he would imagine and I pray the same for myself God. I thank you God that Your angels are watching over the children and I just pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
