mds (thelema) ER guide - astral ring ver

never thought i'd make another one of these again but the thel guide on the rentry isn't the fastest atm (i think) and im certain that whatever i've cooked up recently is actually pretty decent (generally 2-3 min clear on lite) and i feel the need to store it somewhere before i forget it, so here is hiro's second er guide (read. log). also because i love thel and shes so fun in ER

starting choices

initial buffs - summoned entity/weapon skill buff, weapon increases dmg

ely signets - waltz, fine clothes (aim to get it within the first 7 stages of er lite if you've unlocked the mode), optional - nobility

sigils - gold goblet, dreamful gold (if you're lazy and want guaranteed ely signet take because of you and swap to dreamful gold after you get signet)

support valks - DSA, BR

weapon + stig build

signature set + wep if plausible, but given how cracked thel is in er if it boosts ice dmg/combo attack its worth trying, same with craftable wep but i dont recommend crafting the weapon just for this

signet choices

1st - eden 1 -> tdm + ele/phys dmg boost, increase initial and max sp, take nexus

1st vill-v 2 -> act 2, 3, 4, take nexus, take breach + enemy vulnerability if it comes up in shop

2nd - mobius 1 -> both dmg increase from present summoned entities, increase summoned entities dmg, take nexus, take breach

2nd - su 1 -> both dmg increase, both combo count increase, take nexus, take breach + enemy vulnerability

optional - kalpas -> any dmg boosts, griseo -> red and yellow

rotation

both support valks, trigger stellar outburst, thel support, combo, spam atk until you see dmg boom (read. impact frames + enemy hp drop), ult, weapon, atk until bar is full, combo again, rinse and repeat with ults whenever its available

additional notes

you could definitely take kalpas 2 instead of su 1 as 4th choice but if you have serious skill issues and suck at dodging aim for kalpas 2 post the tank because if not you will Not survive or just about barely survive (is speaking from experience)

if your dmg is low because of gear and you can't kill everything in one stellar outburst cycle, take ar charge increase and cd decrease from mobius

if anyone has any questions/suggestions for improvement feel free to drop me an ask, particularly for the rotation given that i still don't necessarily feel like i truly understand her playstyle - this isn't a be all end all guide it's just what i find works really well when i use thel, particularly during the current 7.9 patch

and if there's a valk that also doesn't have an updated guide for 7.9 on the rentry (here) drop me an ask, if i have the valk and she's viable for 7.9 er to an extent where it doesnt matter what gear is on her i can get her to clear i'll see what i can do about another guide. keep in mind i base this off of both the older guides for these valks and my own general knowledge of the signets - if you know the rules you can break them
