Update to that one fic where Gangster!Grindelwald smirks and flirts and makes life difficult for Credence and Percival literally everyone
That is, I posted a new chapter of Chicago Teeth. Chapter sixteen lads! I should be able to get 17 done by sometime in December. Some of you lurkers are thirsty and I see you back there and trust me, you shall soon be appeased.

My Top 5 Fantastic Beasts Smut Fics That Mix Kink With CONSENT
My Top 5 Fantastic Beasts Smut Fics That Mix Kink With CONSENT (Warning: contains references to adult content. Obviously.)
Just a heads up- obviously, all the works I’m about to describe contain adult content. Should be obvious from the title, but I thought I should cover my legal bases. Also there are minor spoilers for each fic, but since the climax for most of them is basically, well, a climax, that shouldn’t matter too much.
OK so- first off, the title contained a tiny lie. Not all of these fics contain smut…

@piousboy continued from x
New York was a strange city to Grindelwald but, at the end of the day, they all operated in the same ways as any other large city. Grindelwald would find his way around and find the simple pleasures he afforded himself easily. Like a ticket to a play, for example. He may have been on the run from the European Magical Government, but he wasn’t going to lie low… that wasn’t something Grindelwald did.
He'd walked down the aisles of the theater looking for something and, when he found it, it was obvious. He had gone down the aisle that this lonely boy was sitting in with ease and grace, his poise and command of attention and respect (without ever uttering a word) meant people moved out of his way until he made it to the boy who seemed as terrified as a mouse.
Grindelwald offered the boy a small smile as he nodded his head and took the empty seat next to the boy, upper half of his leg making full contact with the younger man’s leg as Grindelwald tried to make himself comfortable. “No need to apologize, I appreciate you allowing me to sit beside you. I have never been to New York.” He said with another smile, noting the flush to the boy’s cheeks and taking it as a positive sign. “Is this theater any good?”

Yikes, okay, I guess I'll explain it since no one else has yet:
Gradence is only with "Original Percival Graves" - the man we as fandom created, that we don't know very much about in canon
Not Graves while being impersonated
If you're looking for impersonated Graves (Grindelwald) with Credence then that's called Grindence
Grindence is actually Grindledore, if you think about their relationship like that, haha
If you think about it, gradence is basically grindledore

tagged by @almost-annette - thank you, my lovely! I’ve never been asked to do one of these before...
What is your total word count on AO3?
19639 - more than I thought, jeez
How often do you write?
Every day.
Do you have a routine for writing?
Not in the slightest. I write daily but I’m not focused at all on anything much - whatever turns up in my head, I write, whether it’s a crossover with whatever I’m reading or watching or a new idea that occurs to me as interesting. It’s very rare that an idea goes beyond that first sketching stage. I might write several different versions of the same thing, which is where I’m at with Slaughter - I legit have three different versions of the Games to hand with two different conclusions. Haven’t decided which I’m using yet. I usually go right in medias res when I first write and have to flesh out the rest later if I choose to. So it’s - first sketch, which might have dabbles at various scenes in a piece of work, then do I even save this on my hard drive, then from there if I want to continue I work out a broad brush outline, and most times I go no further than that. For Slaughter I think I wrote the interview scene first, and then I was like, how do we get here, and then I had to do a fuckload of research for a tailor and then a fuckload more actual plotting. I had a broad brush idea of what I wanted to happen in the Games and then I had to work back and integrate that into the story beats which came before. Then writing what I’ve planned is like pulling teeth and I sit on it for three months rather than edit. :D
What’s your favorite kinks/tropes/pairing?
Kinks:
Like there is very little which will put me off. Very, very little - I love dark!fic and have dabbled in it myself. If it’s a bit seedy, I will adore it.
Tropes:
ABO pleases me, soul bonding (particularly when it’s messy), anything which creates interesting power imbalances. Age differences are fun. Gender swapping, yes please (I’m still dabbling with a complete gender swap Barebone family and seeing how that would play out).
Pairing:
Gradence first and foremost, but I still read and enjoy 00Q - I wrote thousands of words of fic for them and never published any of it.
Do you have a favorite fic of yours? (I’m excluding collab fics here)
I actually posted To The Slaughter, so that’s clearly headway! Otherwise, I am fond of a snippet of Grindence (is that the ship name?) I’m fiddling with at the moment with forced bonding.
Your fic with the most kudos?
To The Slaughter, entirely because I actually posted it on AO3.
Anything you don’t like about your writing?
I am useless at description - I have to work very hard at it to get anything decent out of myself. Also I have no clue whether my relationship building actually works? I genuinely think all my writing is pants most of the time.
Now something you do like!
I’m good at dialogue, I think. And I quite like the thematic work I’ve done in Slaughter, and all the foreshadowing. Seriously, I showed everyone what was going down in Chapter 2 and no one has mentioned it yet in the comments.
Tag some of your favorite Authors: Oh lord, who hasn’t done this already? @mercurial-tenacity ?

Grindelwald smiled at Credence’s reaction -- it had been expected, after all. He stepped forward to closet he gap between them and put his hand on the boy’s shoulder, squeezing it gently. The dark wizard then leaned down and whispered a soft shh into the young man’s ear before guiding him into another room.
“I do, indeed, have a surprise for you.” He offered, going quiet for a moment before walking up to Credence. “Hold out your hands.”

"Sorry, is this seat taken?" (grindelwald)
First Meeting
Credence jumped a little the moment he heard a voice, having been on edge the moment he stepped away from his duties. It had taken a lot of meticulous planning in order to secure a ticket to the theatre and assure that he could get there and back without any of his family knowing he was gone, making sure that he picked a day when he would have to give out leaflets alone, and picking a theatre far from where Chastity was working.
While for anyone else a trip to the theatre would be a normal way for a boy to amuse himself, for Credence it was the most rebellious thing he had ever done - plays being the enemy of Puritan belief. His heart was pounding before he was spoken to.
“Sorry,” he said quietly, then shaking his head before he brought his legs a little closer together, the fact he was on an end seat next to the wall now making it clear he was alone the moment he shook his head. “No, you can take it, sir,” he said before glancing at him. Credence knew that the voice was European, but he was so sheltered there was no way he could’ve pinpointed a country or even a rough area. When he glanced over though, he didn’t expect to see someone quite so well groomed, or handsome for that matter - especially a man twice his age. He felt his cheeks instantly burn at the fact that for the next few hours this man would be sitting next to him, then inwardly hoping his knee would brush against Credence’s during the course of the play. A strange hope to have, but for someone with no romantic prospects, the odd accidental brush of skin from an attractive stranger was all it took to satisfy him.
