The "grimtrix is Cedric's teacher" thing is so weird to me. I thought everyone viewed Cedric, Grimtrix and Greylock as classmates, me included.

Cedric prob knows about Grimtrix's reputation because yk, you hear about your past classmates sometimes in your life, sometimes people you know also know them, and Greylock mentioned that their old class make class reunions after all these years to see eachother at the start of the episode "baileywhoops" if I'm not mistaken.

They all choose their careers and Grimtrix started working at Hexley Hall. The idea of him being Cedric's teacher is weird and being his lover is even more weird because I read @shychick-52 's The Master Wand

As for me, I just find Cedric/Grimtrix ick because Grims is a manipulative pos 😄 (I also hc Grimtrix was an older student in Cedric's day).

I'm team balieywick and, Cedric. I've always loved their dynamic. especially their sassy witty, comebacks with each other. I know I'm probably in the minority in the fandom for team Cedwick.

I have high hopes and expectations for Friday’s episode, Day of the Sorcerers.  

Recapping my earlier speculation based on a few seconds of footage in the season teaser trailer: Grimtrix gathers the royal sorcerers to encourage they plan a coup against their kingdoms and take one over, informing the others Cedric has the means to do so with Sofia’s amulet. I’m thinking most don’t go along with Grim and those that do only do so out of fear so Cedric not only has to protect his kingdom and princess, but save his friends. Maybe. Hopefully. It’d be so awesome to see him be a real hero. Kick his ass Cedric! The show will probably be way less dramatic than the epic showdown I’m fangirlin’ in my head.

Look, I'm also a little confused about Grimtrix's real age. I just wanted to know if he was a headmaster/teacher since Cedric's time, or if he was a classmate of his and Greylock's.

( I don't ship the Grimtrix with anyone, so I just wanted to know how this affects the influence he had on the formation of the Order of the Wand.)
