gerson seems to be unpopular in general, which is a huge shame considering with how popular war veteran grillbyxgaster is, you would think there would be more content with gaster and the canonical war veteran.

Tbh I don't understand why Gerson is so unpopular. He literally has more dialogue than Grillby, who doesn't say anything. And from him we learn things about the Delta Rune sign. And it adds quite a lot to Undertale itself. He's dead in Deltarune, but he also seems to be an important character, and I'm sure his character will be developed.

Especially when he became Gaster's replacement, I think we should take a closer look at him.

Besides, if Gaster is a really nice grandpa, these two would be great friends.

I have no idea where the idea that Gaster and Grillby are friends came from? I mean, I don't mind the idea, I just think more about the canon facts.

Also, Gerson and Gaster seem to have lived in similar times, so they may even have fought in a war together

Heyy, I finally got around to doing one of these, and they’re gonna be quick and short.

This one was under angst, but when I saw it, I saw it as a more lighthearted thing so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Prompt: 25: “ I’m sick. ”

“Gaster, just admit it.”

“No, never, I’m fine.” He barked back, in between coughs. He’d been down in his makeshift lab all day, and Grillby knew something was wrong. Turned out his hunch was right. He only needed to be in the room for a few seconds to tell that Gaster was not well.

“Really? Because to me, it doesn’t sound like you are.”

More coughs. “Really. Now please…” Cough. “I need to get back to work.”

“Gaster, this isn’t healthy…”

Gaster turned quickly to glare at Grillby, almost falling off his chair in the process. His face now visible, it was easy to see the dark circles under his eyes, or the light purple tint to his face. He sniffled.

Crossing his arms, Grillby did his best to look imposing. “You need…a break.”

“I’m…” Another cough “Fine.”

“Well, that’s a shame, because I was thinking of making some nice warm soup for you, wrap you up warm and take care of you.” Grillby looked back to make sure Gaster was listening. He was. “But if you’re feeling fine then I guess I don’t have to do any of that for you, you can make your own dinner tonight.” He knew Gaster couldn’t resist any of that. It was only a matter or time.

“…” Gaster grunted. “Ugh fine, you win.”

Gaster crossed his arms in a pout.

“I’m sick.”

“Oh are you?” Grillby mocked. “Want me to take care of you?”

“…Shut up.” He grumbled playfully. “…yes.”

Grillby laughed as he picked up Gaster in his arms and took him to bed.`

Grillstember entry for day 21. Well, I meant for this to be much more simple. I fucked it up pretty badly in a few spots, too and then just gave up. Have some ectoplasmic female Gaster boobs. Yeah, I’ve explained Tsunderester’s anatomy to some folks, but never in visual representation. Just like this female Gaster, my Tsunderester’s body is ectoplasmic on the inside. His outer body is a bone shell. I’m pretty disturbed by this too.
