The False Dragon: Why I Believe Young Griff Will Die Before Meeting Daenerys: A Theory art by: hyloraart
Tumblr media
Now many people believe that Daenerys will hear about Young Griff and immediately go to Westeros to take back what she believes is hers, the iron throne. This will then lead to a 2nd Dance of the Dragons but I disagree with this plot point.
First we should look at why Young Griff goes to Westeros without Daenerys. Initially he plans to go to Dany but, he decides against it because Tyrion says this to him.
Tumblr media
Tyrion is taking advantage of the naïveté of Young Griff and also taking out some anger on him since he called him a “dwarf” in a scornful way, Young Griff has never considered the idea that Dany would reject him which speaks to his naïveté and arrogance. This will also be his downfall.
Tumblr media
Tyrion plays into Aegon's arrogance. His whole life even though he’s been in exile he has been told that he is the future king of Westeros. Similar to Viserys that has always been the goal for him. So while he may play pretend as someone who has struggled. It’s fake.
Tumblr media
By goading Aegon into this plan Tyrion has essentially set Aegon up for doom. He tells Aegon to go without Dany. Take advantage of the chaos in Westeros so that when you meet you will be equals. And I believe that Aegon will succeed in taking Westeros, but this is a short term goal that is coming before the long term which will end up having dire consequences.
Tyrion knows Dany better than most of the fandom and says that when she hears of him, she will come running.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Something that seems to be completely forgotten by the fandom is that Daenerys is deeply lonely about being the last Targaryen and craves a home and connection. The narrative that she’s gonna want to kill Aegon when she finds out about him makes no sense and is based on the show.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why would Daenerys want to murder her last living relative? I know people will say, but he’s the mummers dragon but Daenerys doesn’t know that and I don’t believe that she ever will.
Now onto the main point as to why Aegon will die before he meets Daenerys. There’s two main points. 1. He is a false replica of Daenerys and 2. his arrogance allows him to be manipulated by Tyrion. Tyrion tells him plainly, trust no one. And yet he decides to go with his plan because Tyrion was capable of touching a sore spot for the young prince. His entitlement. He was raised to believe he is the next king of Westeros and it shows. Tyrion even compares him to Joffrey.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s the false Daenerys in every way. He’s an exiled prince in hiding. With an exiled knight from Westeros(Jon Connington). An army of foreigners (Golden Company). He knows many languages and he’s learned how to fish and has been taught to be a good king because he understands smallfolk. Daenerys is the exiled prince in hiding being abused and dragged along by a mad brother who believes he is the rightful king. She has an exiled knight from Westeros (Jorah and then Barristan). She has a foreign army (Dothraki and unsullied). She knows many foreign languages and understands the struggle of common folk. Daenerys earns everything she has, whereas Aegon is given it.
He was given Jon Connington someone who protected him well. He likely was never in any real danger with Illyrio and Varys running his life. Dany lived on the run her whole life. Kept by the Sealord of Braavos because he liked unique things as a souvenir. Then kicked out at 5 and moved from place to place her whole life. Dany knows multiple languages out of survival, Aegon learns them by being taught in a controlled environment. Daenerys is sold to the Dothraki as a broodmare, but from that she gains her own strength and power.
She walks into the pyre and comes out unburnt and reborn bringing dragons and magic back into the world. No one did that for her. Aegons foreign army was given to him. The same army that laughed in Viserys’ face when Dany was a child. “Black or red a dragon is a dragon” sure
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Daenerys gained the unsullied on her own after coming to terms with her own life being sold as a slave. It was her own tenacity that got her to where she is. Not a cheesemonger and a spider working in the shadows.
Tumblr media
He is a foil to her in the same way Stannis and Euron are foils for her. They’re the lies she has to slay in her house of the undying prophecy.
Tumblr media
And I know when I say that people will say that’s evidence of their meeting because she must slay him but, Stannis is also in that prophecy and I believe he’ll destroy himself. I don’t think Daenerys needs to slay every lie herself. Although I do believe Euron will be the one she slays as he is the 3rd part of the prophecy and Dany is heavily associated with 3.
Tumblr media
But finally the reason Aegon is dying before meeting Daenerys is said plainly in the text by Tyrion himself. While playing cyvasse George cleverly uses it to communicate young griffs end. In cyvasse the most powerful piece is the dragon, and the dragon is a female one.
Tumblr media
Daenerys is the dragon. His dragon is too far away to save him, he should’ve moved her to the center of the battle. But by going to Westeros without Dany she’s too far to save him.
The one who will kill him, I believe it’s Euron. People seem to discredit him but Aeron has a vision where he sees Euron on the iron throne as a tentacled monster. I believe this is him after he has summoned a kraken like Cthulhu monster.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In conclusion, it is Young Griffs, arrogance, naivety and machismo which will get him killed before he ever meets Daenerys. Thank you for reading. In my next theory I’ll be discussing how this leads to Daenerys vs Euron.

Every time I see a post about "King Jon" being the rightful ruler, it makes me root for Young Griff to be the real deal even more—just to shatter the whole fantasy of Jon being the “secret prince.” Jon is a bastard; he has no legitimate claim over either "Aegon" or Daenerys. Even if Young Griff was real, he still wouldn’t have a solid claim to the throne because Rhaegar was effectively disinherited when Aerys named Viserys as his heir. That leaves Daenerys (unfortunately for the haters) as the only legitimate Targaryen with a real claim. But despite this, people still twist the argument, saying things like, “Well, the Mad King could’ve disinherited Rhaegar and named Viserys heir, but Rhaegar’s son would still come before Daenerys.” It’s such a reach. Another take I can’t stand is“the king’s word doesn’t matter after he’s dead.” Aerys proclaimed Viserys as his heir while he was still alive. This is the same argument used against Rhaenyra’s claim...
Another take I can’t stand is“the king’s word doesn’t matter after he’s dead.” Aerys proclaimed Viserys as his heir while he was still alive. This is the same argument used against Rhaenyra’s claim…
Pre-LyannaxRhaegar running off, in AWoIaF, Yandel notes that tensions at court between Rhaegar and Aerys (and their factions) was similar to what was described for what existed b/t Rhaenyra and Alicent and their parties. This was deliberate on GRRM's part, yes, and I see people using this fact to make the case about how there would be more support for Jon or FAegon over Dany, as Rhaegar, no matter what, was the firstborn. Symbolism and foreshadowing and all that, third time the charm or whatever.
ONE, Duncan the brown-haired prince was also the firstborn of his set of siblings...he gave up the throne entirely to stay married to Jenny of Oldstones. The verbiage is "abdicated". The guy didn't just "give it up", Aegon V, his father, continued to not grant him the title of Prince of Dragonstone when Duncan continued to refuse to put Jenny aside. Before that, it's made clear Aegon didn't want him married to a "commoner", so Duncan's title was always up to Aegon's will. After he abdicated, he was called the "Prince of Dragonflies", instead as a sort of mock, but again, he lost/gave up the entire position and all its privileges and rights.
His kids/line would be totally removed from any rights to the throne. Aegon V didn't want that, and he capitulated, so then Duncan got to have the girl AND be still a prince. Even if Aegon had died, Duncan married a common girl who was "crazy" and listened to short suspicious woman she claimed was a child of the forest, any kids they could have had wouldn't be popular and there'd be debate over how "legitimate" or how much "real" appropriate "blood" they'd have possibly to have rights to the throne...similar to how real-life European nobles defined a "bastard" by how the parents didn't have matching-enough statuses and not necessarily just them being unmarried (pre-1300s). That and the easy accusation of witchery and magic in that kid's "blood" or practice. This is a headcanon of mine, but I also think it's a good speculation as it brings up Westerosi perspective of class and magic.
Perhaps this means more that Duncan's choice of woman would be more why his hypothetical kids with her wouldn't be accepted or very much supported more than the fact that Aegon V persisted in not allowing Duncan to continue not being his heir...but even though Lyanna was definitly a "fit" bride for a Targ prince in character or rank, even an heir...well I already note why it would work below. Rhaegar's conduct in "kidnapping" a lord's betrothed daughter, impregnating and "spoiling" her, puts that child of Rhaelya in a similar boat to Duncan and Jenny's child, and Lyanna is a "savage" northern girl who isn't as much of a "proper" lady, either.
You might argue why Elia's marriage to Rhaegar makes no question--hypothetically if their kids had been alloowed to live--as to their kids' right to the throne despite how nonDornish Westerosi view Dornish people. It's because their marriage was Faith and state-sanctioned and arranged through the "proper" channels. No independent will involved there at all setting up the marriage on the actual couple's parts.
When you add what I say below, Aerys II having refused to acknowledge Rhaegar and his line as his heirs when those heirs don't even really exist or be a part of the succession definitely tips the scales in Dany's favor. Not FAegon either (again, below), DANY. Rhaegar inadvertedly, in another ironic layer, paved Dany's way to the throne.
TWO, Let's talk about Rhaenyra & Dany. Like Rhaenyra, Dany has actually practiced rule and had dragons. The relevant differences, however, bt Dany and Rhaenyra is that:
Rhaenyra had oaths from most lords as arranged by her father to solidify their loyalties to her so that his word does matter that much more, so yeah Dany does have a comparative vulnerability
Rhaenyra's lived in Westeros all her life and further strengthened those ties later on in a tour (proximity), people know her and she even was very popular amongst both nobles and peasants enough to have her own moniker
Dany has all the dragons or is the ONLY party with dragons in any any confrontation she'd be in, whereas Rhaenyra had dragons...but her rivals & brothers/the greens also had dragons...so Dany is better off there
A monarch's word post death does matter, but it also loses its authority the more material power the living has or can use against their intentions. This is true. That does not mean that the monarch's word doesn't give an edge to further legitmize why one should rule, esp when that person has a certain disadvantage or has an identity that tradition doesn't grant the right or ability to inherit certain leaderships, like being a woman or being a bastard. As we saw what happened with Edward III's death and William the Conqueror's claim including that of all Edward's other sons. He claimed that he had been chosen...and just like Dany, William had the arms to back up that claim. Why bother, bc he was an illegitmate scion of a relative, so he had to use something even other than arms and soldiers to legitmize why his rule be accepted.
The other possible candidates vying for the throne? I explain below why FAegon and Jon has critical issues for their abilites to amass support for themselves, passively or actively.
THREE, one issue is that ALL three people are also "foreigners" in their own way. Dany and FAegon, obvious, they grew up in Essos and were most active in Essos. Jon maybe Westerosi, but he's not only a bastard but also way more Stark in expected/traditional behavior AND he is a northerner. King's Landing and the rest of Westeros are Faith/Seven-worshipping Andal descendants with a lot of suspicion and disdain for northeners, who have been called "savage" several times througout Westerosi history. You can find many examples in F&B! And Jon is likely never leaving Ghost behind to rule anything--we saw how "southrons" saw and treated the direworlves when all the Stark kids went down with them...what more a completely white, red-eyed magical animal? He may be the closest thing to a "real" Westerosi...but he's a tree-worshipper...and the Faith wouldn't want a king who wouldn't convert as their ruler. (Dany, idk if she'd even "officially" be of the Faith I can't even see that for her, but neither do I really see her ruling Westeros nor do I see jon or FAegon doing this either bc of the possible results from the Long Night).
Not only that, he's Commander of the Night's Watch, a post most people find useless down south. Dany might be a foreign queen who devotes herself "too much" to freeing slaves as Jon works to provide shelter to the "savage" freefolk, but she has ruled as something closer to the position of a monarch they are familair with and respect. Over real (or believed-in) things and people. An entire city and not "just" a penal colony. And as to Jon, the entire Wall is understood as an unnecesaary drain of resources on the rest of the real bc it's up against creatures of fairytales. (I don't mean that the freefolk are unreal to the rest of Westeros, the city and giants and Others are.) They could think that he didn't really do much other than freeze, as they don't think there'd be much comparatively much to do. Their mistake, but one that could very well determine their outlook of the two. Now, why would I mention experience mattering bt Dany and Jon in the eyes of Westerosi lords? Because they are looking for stability and quick stability after the recent wat and the burgeoning tensions the Lannisters have fostered.
Barring that, another issue is that Jon is and always will be a bastard because the Doctrine of Exceptionalism was about sibling marriage as a privilege of the Targs, NOT polygamy! We have no evidence whatosever that bk!Lyanna and Rhaegar even eloped! To get that Doctrine, Jaehaerys had to work hard (or devise how others would in his stead but he and his council picked the perfect people), it didn't come in a year of peaceful negotiations! It came after Maegor's decimation or severe reduction of the Faith's Militant AND Jaehaerys' later careful manupulations (and the appointment of an amicable new High Septon). There has always been an implied but obvious agreement that the Targs would never have polygamy as a royal privilege, as we see the Targs never have polygamous partners after Maegor I. (Not polyamourous, polygamous...very two different things). Likewise, Rhaegar would first have to win against Aerys and then mess with the Faith and have the rules bent for him if he ever wanted to take Lyanna as his legal second wife if he ever wanted to, or secretly married her or wanted to later...but he died way before all that.
With FAegon, the story is that the Aegon who was murdered alongside his mother & sister was literally an infant or a toddler (I foregt which) when he was killed...who is around to confirm the claim that he is who he says he is? He can only succeed if Varys manages to get rid of possible competition, destabilize the current government by subterfuge and secret blood, and/or have the peasants (who can be easily swayed if there's a promise of support and food) show support and seem like they'd get active or disobeident to their overlords and those overlord's vassals. Again, he was raised in Essos and even if he was the actual Aegon, no one with the appropriate credit (to my memory) is at hand to say he shares the exact features or enough as that baby...bc people don't look like their baby selves often. Unlike Viserys II, who was taken to Essos at 8 or so and came back in just a few short years, FAegon spent way too much time in Essos to be seen as none other than a foreigner AND there's no way to confirm his claimed identity. Nor does he even have dragons! Which all runs the risk of inspiring even more and longer dissent and chaos and division bc people (nobles) would be divided further into camps of following him to use him, those against those people and most trying to stay out of it bc they literally just got out of the War of Five Kings.
And you may be able to argue that some part of Aegon's issue is the same for Jon--who will confirm Jon's being Rhaegar's bastard through Lyanna? But that would be easier than for Jon bc Ned took Jon in and others can easily come to the conclusion that it'd be the honor-loving Ned Stark who wouldn't offer his own nephew up to even his king and best friend. A weird sort of kin-slaying some might say maybe, but idk.
Other than that, unlike Dany, Aegon was told to be dead...and this rando kid claims to be a dead baby. Dany, all the realm knew, fled Westeros as a baby with Viserys and a knight that though is not in the mortal coil anymore was also accompanied by a Pentoshi merchant at some point...everyone knows where she is and that Barristan Selmy is with her. Robert the wanted to have her and her brother killed when he took over and was angry when they got away. Later, Robert's council took the news of her existence and rise seriously and Robert wanted her dead, which means the entire realm knew about her, and obviously her awakening the dragons confirms who she is. The fact that she woke dragons up once again, even tou many at court at first and still don't believe that she has. She has the foreigner Essosi woman who leads a Dorthaki "savage" hoard thing against her, but she has the Valyrian look, the legitimacy, and the DRAGONS to prove her lineage and identity. And she has the firepower, literally, to assure a more guaranteed victory apart from her Dothraki fighters. She is a much more comfortable choice for nobles to fight or fight behind the scenes for.
So regardless of Aerys' disinheriting Rhaegar's line...she still has a very good chance of getting a lot of support and much more than either man, genuine or not. At least from here.
I am not saying that the Dance did not set a dangerous precedent for her either and that there's still a good chance of Jon passively and involuntarily inspiring people to call for his being named king enough to raise arms or at least try to take Dany out secretly to make room for him--not FAegon, bc that identity is just too much of a hangup for him. But to say she'd have very little to none supporting and wanting her to rule in comparison to these two is simply weird and misleading.

Phobias: Being kidnapped, being stuck in her swan form for the rest of her life
Style: In the enchanted forest, Odette wears lots of white dresses and corsets but generally doesn't love wearing healed shoes; she also loves necklaces and always wears at least one. Connie will tend to go for simpler outfits—jeans, sweaters or shirts, sneakers, etc. She always wears a necklace with a ring.
Speech: American accent, very soft spoken until she's captured, then her voice gets more firm; she doesn't mind swearing but will try not to do it too much, especially in front of her son

When sorcerer Rothbart kills William and turns Odette into a swan by day and traps her on Swan Lake, Derek is determined that Odette is not dead and is ready to find and rescue her. To make a long story short, Derek finally kills Rothbart with the help of Odette, and the two marry and have a child, ready to start over in Rothbart's castle. Then a curse sweeps the nation. Connie Vogel, a young mother with a fraught relationship with the boy's father, works at a record store with her best friend to make ends meet, trying to keep from people the relationship she's been having with the guy from the trailer park on the outskirts of Storybrooke. Things are not easy for Connie. Her secrets are starting to eat her up, and things only get tougher when Emma arrives in town and Connie begins to feel an itch underneath her skin.

Oooookay? You said that Illyrio had “brokered” Dany’s marriage to Khal Drogo and implied that he “made a lot of money in doing so.” But this arrangement between Viserys and Khal Drogo, facilitated by Illyrio, was not conducted for short-term financial gain but as part of a long-term geopolitical strategy to destabilize Westeros and eventually install Young Griff on the throne. Illyrio is a central figure in the Blackfyre restoration conspiracy, working in tandem with Varys. He invested substantial resources into the Targaryen (or pseudo-Targaryen) cause, or more accurately, into manufacturing one. He is financing long-term regime change, not flipping Dany for quick cash. As for the marriages, those are not equivalent situations. Daenerys was married as part of a formal political alliance between two sovereign kingdoms. As the sister of a king and wife to the ruling Prince of Dorne, she held a defined political role: Princess of Dorne and a key figure in the peaceful unification of the realm. The marriage was mutually negotiated between two ruling powers, and is remembered in the historical record as a cornerstone of peaceful integration. Dany's marriage to Drogo, on the other hand, was purely transactional. Viserys was an exiled and powerless claimant with no kingdom, court, army, or formal authority. Dany had no agency in the arrangement and was presented to Drogo without consent or protection. Her function was not political but instrumental. She was a commodity in a transaction intended to secure military support, reduced to an object in a power exchange. She was a slavewife by Dothraki standards, with no initial support system in his khalasar. The transaction failed to secure its intended outcome, and Viserys died without achieving anything. Dany emerged with power because she survived and adapted, not because of the marriage itself. So, one was a political alliance between equals, and the other was a desperate attempt that treated Dany as a commodity. Daenerys was positioned as a diplomatic actor within a structured political system rather than leaving her isolated or powerless in a foreign court with no real influence. Also, we don’t actually know much about Daenerys. What we have are historical fragments: her legacy, yes (the Water Gardens and the children, peace with Dorne), but not a developed narrative presence. There is no textual evidence that she was miserable in her marriage or spent years weeping after Daemon. The tragic romance appears less grounded in her lived experience than in the political mythology that surrounded Daemon. Associating him with a lost love helped elevate him beyond the status of a failed usurper, reframing him as the rightful Targaryen king, wronged not only in blood and crown, but in love as well. Here, Daenerys functions more as a narrative device used to legitimize Daemon’s rebellion by emotionalizing it. And until F&B ii provides more, she remains a silent figure in Daemon’s political arc.
Why’s this message so heated, I feel like Bloodraven is accusing me of spreading Blackfyre propaganda through the weirwood net.
I mentioned Illyrio’s brokerage because it’s one of several ways in which the text establishes a link between Dany’s marriage and slavery, a reading with which you clearly agree! The relevant passage:
It was a truly magnificent gift, though she knew that Illyrio could afford to be lavish. He had collected a fortune in horses and slaves for his part in selling her to Khal Drogo.
(AGOT, Daenerys II)
I also never stated that her marriage to Drogo is an exact equivalent to Daenerys’s marriage to Maron, just that they bear certain similarities however superficial; for instance I highly doubt it’s an accident that both Daeneryses in question were sisters to the king (Viserys’s claim is disputed to say the least, of course, but Dany insists on his being styled posthumously as Viserys III) who married them off in service of an endeavor to reclaim his kingdom and add Dorne to his kingdom, respectively (and the former is clearly unsuccessful while the latter is not).
I do think you’re overestimating the amount of agency possessed by Daeron’s sister, though. Or perhaps I have a dimmer view of Westerosi arranged marriages than you do. On the other hand I never said that she was miserable either, just that she’s clearly positioned as an archetypal dutiful wife. “Archetypal” being the operative word because I never presumed to know her thoughts on the matter, only the ways in which her (few) actions are presented.

So you think you find a post with accurate commentary:
Tumblr media
Yes, this is true. Exactly zero members of House Martell and zero Dornish characters have any animosity toward House Targaryen. They rightly blame Tywin and Gregor Clegane for what happened to Elia. They also avidly support Targaryen Restoration, eagerly trying to marry Arianne to Viserys and then trying to marry Quentyn to Dany. They even speak positively of Rhaegar, who did not abuse nor abandon Elia. House Martell are among the Targ loyalists in Westeros.
Sadly they didn't stop there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In short, this person, like the rest of the fanon crowd, did not read any of the chapters Aegon is featured in. They also don't seem to have read the books in general since we know that Rhaegar was anything but indifferent and scornful toward his son who he believed was a hero out of prophecy and gave him a king's name since he saw Aegon as the future king. Plus, anyone who has actually read Tyrion and JonCon's ADWD chapters where Aegon appears will know that Aegon is 100000000000% in as a Targaryen.
Aegon claims Rhaegar as his father by name and mentions Elia (not by name) in passing as part of his own supposed backstory. Aegon even asks for info about Rhaegar, but not about Elia.
He's also all in for the Targcest as he wants to marry Aunty Dany.
He refers to himself as a dragon and hopes to ride one.
He's also misogynistic toward women in power, which is very unDornish of him, but a reflection of non-Dornish Westerosi values.
Tyrion considers Aegon’s temperament as proof of his Targness. He also uses the lure of emulating Aegon I to manipulate the current Aegon into doing what he wants, which works bc Aegon is proud of his Targ heritage.
Seriously though...
Aegon mentioning Elia:
“That was not me. I told you. That was some tanner’s son from Pisswater Bend whose mother died birthing him. His father sold him to Lord Varys for a jug of Arbor gold. He had other sons but had never tasted Arbor gold. Varys gave the Pisswater boy to my lady mother and carried me away.” -- Tyion VI, ADWD
Aegon mentioning Rhaegar:
“Your father knew the dangers of being overbold.”
“Did you know my true father?”
“Well, I saw him twice or thrice, but I was only ten when Robert killed him, and mine own sire had me hidden underneath a rock. No, I cannot claim I knew Prince Rhaegar. Not as your false father did. Lord Connington was the prince’s dearest friend, was he not?”
Young Griff pushed a lock of blue hair out of his eyes. “They were squires together at King’s Landing.” -- Tyrion VI, ADWD
----
And then Prince Aegon spoke. “Then put your hopes on me,” he said. “Daenerys is Prince Rhaegar’s sister, but I am Rhaegar’s son. I am the only dragon that you need.” -- The Lost Lord, ADWD
The difference in how he talks about his parents couldn't be more different. This makes sense because he was raised by Rhaegar-loving and Elia-hating JonCon. Had Aegon been real and raised by the Martells, he likely would have cared about both of his parents and felt connected to both Houses he's descended from.
As someone who wastes a considerable amount of time on the content Aegon is featured in, I have to wonder why these people fixate on him. It reminds me of how Stansas use Jon while knowing exactly nothing about Jon Snow. They take the somewhat outward trappings of the character -- able bodied king candidate -- and project inaccurate ideas onto him. They should hate Jon bc he is sexist against women like their fav and has more sympathy for the grown man who married her than he does for his 12-year-old sister. Similarly, fanon!Elia stans should take issue with the fact that Aegon focuses considerably more on his father and being a Targ than he does on his "mother" who supposedly worked to save his life. As an actual Elia fan, I know I consider Aegon's apathy toward his "mother" to be a flaw of his.

Sonic Crack Ships
So lately I've been going through a Sonic phase though its mostly a Tails phase if im being honest with myself. I've been trying to watch all the Sonic media and read all the Sonic comics that I can while playing a few Sonic games here and there. So my messed up brain came up with this stupid idea. What if I put every version of every canon Sonic characters from all Sonic media into multiple rounds of the hunger games simulator until only ones left. So I did that and even though I literally did it yesterday I already forgot who won I just remember it was something stupid. I also did it with all the diffrent canon and AU versions of Tails I could find and the winner was actually Tails from Sonic Boom. But anyways im getting off track where im going with this is that today while I was doing nothing lying in bed my brain came up with an even more messed up idea. What if I put all the Sonic characters not including the humans into a random wheel picker on Google to form a bunch of crack ships. So I did it for every character on the wheel. I now have a list. And I have decided to post this list because I find it funny. And I dare people to draw a couple from this list together or make a short cute crack story about one of these ships. And if you do please send a link to me. Ill die laughing if anyone does this. Sorry if I misspelled some names. P.S. I tried to put pictures on here for each character but I couldn't figure out how. I already have a part 2 for this in the works with even more characters.

10 things I think will happen in the final GOT books
10. Not all the main characters will ever meet
9. I think Cersei will sit on the iron throne for a short time
8. The long night will be the final battle
7. Jamie will kill Cersei (goes with number 2)
6. The magic that had disappeared when the dragons died is brought back, and then dragon eggs that are hundreds of years old will start hatching (possibly the rumoured dragon eggs Vermax laid in Winterfell)
5. Arya will be the one to put an end to Lady Stoneheart
4. Jon will become a version of the knight king - but not like the one on the show
3. If young griff really is a Targaryen, there will be another dance of dragons
2. Dorne will get revenge on House Lannister by using Myrcella
1. Daenerys will sacrifice herself during the long night, but her dragons will survive

In his early fifties, Doran is a cautious, pensive, and subtle man. He is prone to think long on the matters before him, weighing every word and every action. Doran has been focused for years on getting revenge for the murder of his sister, Elia, and her two young children during the Sack of King's Landing during Robert's Rebellion in 283 AC. Canon. Song Era.
Prince Quentyn Martell. Prince Quentyn Nymeros Martell, better known simply as Quentyn Martell, is a knight from House Martell. He is the second child and eldest son of Doran Martell, Prince of Dorne, and Lady Mellario of Norvos. He is cautious by nature and filled with doubts, fears, and insecurities. Quentyn does not want to be remembered as a failure, and cannot bear the thought of his father's disappointment, nor does he want friends to die for nothing. After his injuries by the fires of the dragon, Quentyn is in bad shape but survives, having spend weeks being treated, AU. Canon. Song Era.
Prince Raeonor Qoherys . Raeonor seeks revenge for the exile of his house and will offer money to anyone that will take it for them to travel back and regain Harrenhal, as he proclaims that the castle was cursed by his family's blood, carrying dragon blood, the blood magic is strong to this day. OC. Song Era.
Princess Meleya Qoherys. A priestess and a practiciener of R'hallor, Meleya believes only she can undue the curse placed on Harrenhal and every family that was taken down. Unlike her brother, she possesses the Valyrian features, except her eyes remain a shade of clear pink red, most say it's due to the magic she uses. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Anastacia, recording artist/singer-songwriter Ben Anderson (great to have worked with you), Rita Arya, Bill Black, Kyle Chandler, Dolores Costello, Elvira a.k.a. Parker, Joseph D. Pistone, John Ritter, Rita Rudner, The Supremes 1964 “Baby Love” single, Ty Tabor (King’s X), Michiyo Tsujimura 辻村みちよ, Fee Waybill (The Tubes—keep up the good work), and one of America’s best-known cultural ambassadors, Luke the Drifter a.k.a. The Hillbilly Shakespeare a.k.a. Mr. Lovesick Blues a.k.a. Timber Snake, singer-songwriter Hank Williams. He learned guitar from African-American blues musician Rufus Payne (a.k.a. Tee Tot), and that, along with the music of Roy Acuff and Ernest Tubb, influenced Hank’s style.
Chronic back pain, alcoholism, and pill addiction took a toll on Hank’s heart and he died young and tragically, but in his short but hugely influential career he released 55 Top 10 singles with 12 #1 records. He’s cited as one of the essential pioneers of contemporary country music, but his reach extended into mainstream pop, rock’n’roll, and even jazz, as his songs (now considered to be American standards) were covered by hit-makers of the day—and still are.
A 78 of Hank’s “Lovesick Blues” turned up in my house when I was kid, and on TV I watched the biopic film I SAW THE LIGHT, a song that has always been with me. In recent years I started performing regularly in assisted living homes, and my set includes Hank’s “Hey Good Lookin’” (along with “Jambalaya”). He wrote and recorded "Hey, Good Lookin'" in 1951 (it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2001). The song has been covered by countless artists and was a precursor to the genre known as Rockabilly. Hank was friendly with musician Jimmy Dickens. Having told Jimmy that he needed a hit record if he was going to become a star, Hank said he’d write it and penned "Hey Good Lookin'" in only 20 minutes while on a plane with Jimmy and entertainer Minnie Pearl. A week later Hank recorded it himself, jokingly telling Jimmy, "That song's too good for you!" Here’s my cover of it (recorded by Chris von Sneidern). Meanwhile, HB HW and thank you for crafting so many great songs. https://johnnyjblairsingeratlarge.bandcamp.com/track/hey-good-lookin

I was reading your posts about Jon and D may have sex and then reading your latest ask made me wonder, do you think Jon will agree to marry Dany as part of convincing her he’s team Targaryen and then cheat on her with Sansa? There’s debate about what Jace and Sara foreshadow. Jonerys fans say it’s about them. But imo it’s part of the Targaryen falling for a Stark woman idea. I wondered if Jace was written to not only build that pattern in for Rhaegar and Lyanna but then Jon and Sansa and part of that would be having a wife or being betrothed and betraying them. That seems dark for Jon, but you mentioned him lying and being deceitful so I wanted your take
Hi, anon. Thanks for the ask.
Political Jon actually would make Dany more sympathetic to the readers but I don't think JD will ever marry. That would mean that Jon will not be betraying his short fling but his nominal wife. Dany will not marry some bastard of the North and we could argue that Jon will be King in the North when he meets Dany but he won't stay as one since Bran and Rickon will be coming home. So JD marriage can only work if Aegon marries his auntie but it will too late by then because RLJ reveal will both expose Dany and Jon's true desires.
For Dany, it will be that she's a power hungry hypocrite who previously said she will give up the crown for love and the IT is only her duty. She's already usurped Viserys and Young Griff by this time and the readers don't care because the former was a monster while the latter is only a pretender. There is justification for the killing. Then we have Jon who she will once again usurp even though Jon is what she claimed she always wanted- her love and the rightful King. WORDS ARE WIND.WIND AND WORDS.
For Jon, it will be that he will be justified in deceiving Dany. She is an egoistic tyrant whom her needs he needed to cater to. I don't know if you've read my meta about heroes and sacrifices. TLDR: Dany's hero moment with the Unsullied was done for the greater good but she did it with deceit and trickery never intending to give a dragon in exchange. The readers don't seem to care cause they were monsters. PolJon willl be a hero and he will do it for the greater good but also with deceit and trickery. Nobody should care cause Dany is a monster.

Emeria Stark: The Silver Wolf
Emeria Stark, the younger twin sister of Robb Stark, was a vibrant and fun-loving child from an early age. Growing up in the majestic Winterfell, she enjoyed exploring the vast grounds, climbing trees, and engaging in playful escapades with her siblings. Despite her lively nature, Emeria often struggled with feelings of inadequacy. She felt overshadowed by her siblings, especially her elder sister Sansa, who seemed to excel at the traditional activities expected of a noble lady, like sewing and courtly etiquette.
Emeria, on the other hand, was more interested in adventure and had little interest in the conventional pursuits of a lady. She would often find herself tangled in thread and making a mess of her sewing projects, which only added to her sense of not being good enough. These feelings of shame and self-doubt burdened her, making her believe that she could never live up to the expectations placed upon her as a Stark lady.
When the time came for her sisters, Arya and Sansa, to travel to King's Landing, Emeria couldn't bear the thought of being left behind in Winterfell. Yearning for an adventure of her own and hoping to escape the constant reminder of her perceived failures, she convinced her father, Eddard Stark, to allow her to join them. Ned, seeing the determination in his daughter's eyes, agreed to her request, though he reminded her to be careful and true to her Stark values.
In King's Landing, Emeria found herself feeling both overwhelmed and intrigued by the bustling city. Among the crowded streets, she encountered a boy named Gendry Waters, a blacksmith's apprentice. Gendry's down-to-earth nature and easy friendship became a bright spot in her otherwise tumultuous life at the royal court. They shared secrets, laughter, and dreams, forming a bond that transcended the rigid social barriers that typically separated nobility from commoners.
However, their newfound friendship was short-lived, as tragedy struck the Stark family. Emeria's beloved father, Ned Stark, was unjustly executed by the Lannisters, plunging her world into darkness. To make matters worse, Gendry was taken away from her, and she felt like she had lost everything that mattered.
Fueled by grief, anger, and a desperate desire for justice, Emeria made the daring decision to run away from King's Landing, vowing to avenge her father and find Gendry. Her journey took her to unfamiliar lands, where she encountered a young man named Young Griff, who introduced himself as "Aegon Targaryen," the long-lost heir to the Iron Throne.
Young Griff revealed that he sought to reclaim his birthright and was assembling supporters to aid him in his cause. Intrigued by his determination and touched by his offer to help find Gendry, Emeria struck a bargain with him. She pledged her allegiance to his cause, agreeing to support his claim to the Iron Throne, in exchange for his help in seeking justice for her father and finding her lost friend.
As Emeria and Young Griff embarked on this quest together, they faced numerous challenges, forging an unbreakable bond along the way. The journey tested Emeria's strength, resilience, and belief in herself. With every step, she learned to accept her flaws, realizing that she was enough, not as a perfect lady, but as a courageous and compassionate individual capable of making a difference in the world.

Who are your favorite characters from asoiaf?
Ahh thanks for the question dear anon so I will start with the still living characters who are still alive in the current timeline i.e. 300 after aegon's conquest. I'll try to keep it a bit short......
The hound Sandor I liked him from the beginning because of his honest way about the whole situation, it's a dark cruel world (for Sansa) for everyone else, plus his story with his brother and the look is just so interesting, he is a knight but like his world something dark horrible who doesn't shy away from violence and murder. I am curious to see how his story will continue
Catelyn Stark/Lady Stoneheart I really liked her in the book, a woman who makes things happen herself, who does things, tries to protect her family and is driven even beyond death to get revenge for her son. The new "undead" design with their own banners and pendants is just so cool to have this magic aspect, another great contrast to the dragons that there are not only magical creatures but also forces that bring maltreated corpses back to life driven by strong emotions.
(Viserys iii i know a very controversial character but in my eyes a boy who has not only lost everything but has been dropped by the world, who has been told nothing but lies and let it be haunted by the coin of gods curse of the dragons. But i would have liked to have gotten more of him a crazy targayren duo with dragons…well he is dead but i still liked him. ps : I'm not a big fan of Daenerys I'm sorry she's the hope of the dragon house besides maybe young griff or jon but I just don't like her some chapters are really good but I don't know I don't warm up to her)
Let's continue with controversial father son duo Roose and Ramasay Bolton the cute leech lord and his psycho son. I'm a fan of Roose and Walda as well as Ramasay and Reek/Theon I know I see the pitchforks already but I have to say for me these two are the darkest of the darkest Westeros has ever produced in a time where anyone and I mean anyone could have been the last day. Roose played strategically and Ramsay knows he has a real hand up to a point (because of his blood) yet they are both too blind to realize it's not Arya Stark.
But back to good characters House Mormont (and I'm not talking about Jorah) I like that image of the house warrior women with bears and axes I'm in plus Maege and her daughters are just so cool I'm looking forward to more of them plus I'm excited for hopefully more interaction with Alysane and Asha Greyjoy.
And to Asha the good/cool child of Balonand rightful heir in my eyes (sorry Theon) in the beginning I found her a bit mhh yeah okay she's just Theon's sister but as she became more and more the main character and is and was and is better than Theon I liked her. Besides, a female captain is always good.
And lastly my two favorite sisters Wynafryd and Wylla who I believe both killed their betrotheds also in the style of their house with dyed hair (house manderly is an underrated house anyway) and like the north they are also under the sign of their actual lord and king from house Stark and want revenge.
Oh and before i forget the sand snakes the coolest bastad kids with the best dad there is (dorn is generally one of the best places besides the vale of arryn i think) but most of all i love his third daughter Tyene not only does she stand out from her sisters with her looks but her way with poison is just so cool and a special connection to her father as her other sisters all use hand strong weapons.

Except the war wasn't over Lyanna, outside of Robert and the North - it's likely that no one else on the rebels side gave a shit about Lyanna.
What happened is that Aerys executed the Lord of Wintefell and his hire. He executed three of the men as well; including the only heir to house Arryn. Then he ravened the Lord of the Vale - aka the uncle of one of the men he executed - and DEMANDED that he behead his two former wards. Aka the new Lord of Winterfell and the Lord of Storms End. Jon Arryn refused, and that's when the Rebellion started. That was what the war was about. Lyanna was just Robert's battle cry.
All of this happened because of Rhaegar's actions in the Riverlands shorting before what was supposed to be Brandon Stark's wedding to Catelyn Tully.
That is why Brandon Stark with four companions rode south to King's Landing. Can we blame a brother going to the one place he could easily assume the CROWN PRINCE would be at. A man, whom he believed - by all accounts. ABDUCTED his sister?
Can we blame him for demanding justice? He thought his baby sister was in danger, and bookwise she might have been - we don't know because GRRM might never really tell us what happened. It's all fanon assumption. The show marriage was because the show runners were too lazy and too cheap to bring in Young Griff after they fucked up with the Dornish plot.
And they had to legitimize Jon somehow.
---
It's more likely that Rhaegar wasn't thinking of love at all.
By the time Aegon was born he was fully convinced it was his duty to sire the Prince That Was Promised and he believed that Aegon was that Prince. And that the dragon needed three heads, the books says as much in Dany's visions in the House of the Undying.
Viserys, was her first thought the next time she paused, but a second glance told her otherwise. The man had her brother’s hair, but he was taller, and his eyes were a dark indigo rather than lilac. “Aegon,” he said to a woman nursing a newborn babe in a great wooden bed. “What better name for a king?” “Will you make a song for him?” the woman asked. “He has a song,” the man replied. “He is the prince that was promised, and his is the song of ice and fire.” He looked up when he said it and his eyes met Dany’s, and it seemed as if he saw her standing there beyond the door. “There must be one more,” he said, though whether he was speaking to her or the woman in the bed she could not say. “The dragon has three heads.” He went to the window seat, picked up a harp, and ran his fingers lightly over its silvery strings. Sweet sadness filled the room as man and wife and babe faded like the morning mist, only the music lingering behind to speed her on her way.
At this point in the vision's scene - it's likely that Rhaegar and Elia have already been told that Elia either can't or shouldn't have more children. As Aegon's birth nearly killed her. We take it as her being barren, but given the medical knowledge at the time we can't confirm either way.
As we know the three heads of the Targaryen sigil represents Aegon i and his sister wives : Visenya and Rhaenys. The pact of Ice and Fire was an alliance between Houses Targaryen and Stark that made during the Dance, it never tied into the PTWP prophecy.
So it's my assumption is that Rhaegar is simply meshing three things together; the PTWP prophecy, the pact of Ice and Fire, and Targaryen symbolism.
Aka, he believes that his son is the PTWP, that his son's Song is tied to the Pact of Ice and Fire and that he already had two of the three heads of the Dragon. And he believes, at this point, that it is his duty to sire them. So it's a fair assumption that he is seeking to sire a Visenya (which we know, in Targaryen history, always fails with heartbreaking results.)
With this information and the likely fact that Lyanna was the Knight of the Laughing Tree; I believe these things along with the Maester's warning against impregnating Elia again, are what drove Rhaegar to doing what he did in the Riverlands before the wedding.
No one would have thought twice if Rhaegar took a mistress, no one would have blinked if he forced Eiia to take Lyanna on as a Lady in Waiting just so he could have access to her. Even if she was still slated to wed his own cousin. Sure Robert would have been pissy, the Starks would as well, but alas with him as Crown Prince - no isn't an answer he'd likely take.
But he did what he did, prompting others into action which lead to the executions of five men and the demands of others; upon which the refusal sparked a rebellion.
IMO, Rhaegar was neither the worst of men nor the best of men especially by Westorii standards; he simply was a flawed man with good intentions and a prophecy that he believed he had to help fulfill. Likely short sighted, but in a way willing to pay the price that would come out of securing the prophecy against whatever threat that was looming in the distant future. He just didn't realize how great of a price that would end up being.
Yes; the actions of other people started the war that we know as Robert's Rebellion; Rhaegar is not faultless. He did what he did; and people reacted accordingly to it. He could not have predicted the fall out, no, but he should have had enough sense to know there would have been fallout.
Just as we all know the blood of Elia and her babies are on Tywin's hands. No one has ever denied that. But Rhaegar isn't faultless here either. He left them open, and Tywin wanted his blood on the throne. However. Tywin would have never made that move otherwise. Remember, he and the Westerlands sat out until one side won.

An event from ASOIAF that I think about a lot is the r*pe and murder of Elia Martell and her children. People try to justify Rhaegar’s actions by saying that it was for prophecy. But honestly fuck prophecy. He did nothing to protect Elia and their children. He just left them to be with a minor for over a year. If Rhaegar really cared about his children and prophecy, he would’ve just knocked up a woman from the north because Rhaegar, himself, already had first men blood. I believe that there still would’ve been an event with Daenerys hatching dragons without Rhaegar trying to “fulfill prophecy”.
I also believe that Rhaegar manipulated Lyanna into the marriage. HOWEVER, why would you ever want to be the other woman? Like I get she was young, naive, and didn’t like Robert, but get over it. I knew, at 16, how wrong it is to be the other woman and how wrong it is to cheat. So honestly, I hate both Rhaegar and Lyanna.
