You and that sergeant seem pretty close. Why do you like him so much? His personality is a sharp contrast to yours and I'm surprised you two get along.

"Sometimes I wonder the same thing myself. He's so outlandishly loud, and over-the-top, and he only ever wears military clothes and embarrasses both of us sometimes, and yet.. I oddly find comfort in his company. He's so jolly, and.. genuine. When he rambles passionately about something, whatever it is, I seem to get absorbed in it so easily. Like I can't get enough of it."

Realizing he's gone off for way too long, he looks away red-faced. "A-anyway, despite the odds we make good acquaintances, and I cherish.. that."

Mizuiro looked aside with a frown, clutching his bowtie in a moment of hesitation. But just before Kajuu was going to chime in the blue guy cleared his throat, straightened up, and finally spoke.

"I guess this can't be avoided." His voice was lower than usual, and a little hoarse. He cleared his throat again.

"You are correct. I unfortunately have fallen ill after a yearly visit to Earth to bring gifts to Shiro and his friends for the holidays. Not to worry, I am mostly well now, but as you can hear, my voice-" he grimaced from his voice cracking. Embarrassing. "Ugh, it's still rather weak."

Mizuiro exhaled heavily with no further response as he held the long red scarf tied in a bow closer to his face. Kajuu chimed in.

"Mars and Mercury are especially known for their hot springs and mild climate all year long and all around the globe. Since the temperature almost never reaches below 0, snow is a rarity and not something our residents are used to.

I believe I myself have only seen it snow twice in my years. It's a beautiful sight, but it's not for everyone." he smiled at Mizuiro, to which the rich guy just grunted.

After a bit of silence Kajuu added:

"I apologize, but the mansion is currently closed for visitors. We're going to ask you to leave."

Mizuiro flinched from the other's shouting and glared at them, unaware of their presence until now. He looked expectedly at Kajuu who seemed unbothered. Kajuu looked back and nodded.

"Excuse me", the butler calmly said to the grey entity. "This area is off-limits. I'm going to ask you to leave".

"Not really, no. Frankly, I grew out of celebrating it long time ago."

“Well, I, if you must know, am a very busy individual with a hereditary business to sustain, so I have to be out every now and then. Besides, I can’t keep the gates open all the time. I do need time for myself too.”
