Stop Pretending That You’re a Movie Star

You know that song by Harpo? “Movie Star”? This argument between Taylor Armstrong and Heather Dubrow kind of reminds me of that song.

“I think it's time for you, my friend, to stop pretending that you are a movie star, movie star. You think you are a movie star…”

You know, someone acts like they’re James Dean after been in one commercial. And that’s kind of how Taylor acts with Heather right now.

And she hasn’t even filmed it yet!

She acted so offended that Heather didn’t take the offer of a part in the movie serious. 

But it sounds so outlandish for me to just show up to a set and expect to get the role.

That would be mortifying, and I think that that’s why Taylor acts the way she does. She’s embarrassed.

And as Heather said, that’s more her own issue rather than an issue between them. And why would Taylor want her in the movie if she’s that upset with her?

But I’m dying of the silliness of this little feud. This is such a typical and old school RHOBH and RHOC feud. It’s light-hearted, it’s petty, it’s silly.

Remember Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi feuding about the FoxFive News Job?! That was so silly, I loved it!

Real Housewives has gotten too dark and toxic with their drama and storylines lately, and it’s refreshing to see them fighting over something as trivial as a hypothetical movie role.

But it seemed like Taylor and Tamra Judge were mocking Heather’s acting career, and that’s not nice.

Tamra threw Taylor under the bus when she said that Taylor hadn’t been impressed by her resumé on IMDb, and conveniently leave out her own mockery.

As Heather pointed out, she put her acting career on pause to raise a family, and she felt like Taylor’s ridicule was anti-female.

Gosh, Heather gives such a scolding, and I’m here for it every time! And Taylor deserved it.

But it seemed like Tamra threw a rock and hide her hand. If Heather truly did something shitty to her, then she probably deserved it.
