How can I score good marks in GRE?
I prepared for GRE from home and here are some tips Before beginning your preparation, keep in your mind is that if you like as you're preparing for GRE then half the job is completed. But consider this way -you are actually increasing your vocabulary which will always be beneficial even when you secure an admission.
The very first thing to do is to have a GRE diagnostic evaluation. ETS provides two practice tests called Powerprep POWERPREP II Software for the benefit of those appearing for GRE. Download the software and try one test at the beginning of your preparation under real test conditions. By doing so you can find a rough idea about the many segments and also the topics in where you are really feeble.
Be familiar with the 3 segments in GRE Verbal, Quantitative and Analytical Writing. Each of these sections consists of different kinds of questions. Equal importance should be provided for all the three sections to score high.
Now coming to stuff to use for preparation, I will mention the books and other tools which I used for my groundwork below ETS official guide to GRE revised General Test and Official GREPractice Questions All these are the must-have books for ant test-taker.
No other publisher beats the queries coming from the people who make the test. The official manual should be your main reference for understanding the types of queries in different sections.
2.
Following the official guide these set of 8 books would be the best. Read this book review for more information. Every manhattan book comes with an access to 6 online tests which are really superb!
3. Magoosh Magoosh Online GRE Prep
When there's an internet resource that I'd recommend for GRE preparation, it'll be Magoosh. I had been a superior member (6 months) of Magoosh and it was really awesome. All the topics of GRE are broken down to sections with movie tutorials that are quite easy to manage. You can study at your own pace in your convenience. Chris Lele for the verbal section is actually an excellent instructor with filled with energy ahe he make certain that you don't ever get bored during the lessons. Their interface is user friendly and after trying questions they will exhibit your anticipated score range. Magoosh additionally have an excellent site Magoosh GRE Website - Everything you need to know about the GRE which contains tons of helpful resources such as Vocabulary Wednesday, Article of the month and so forth. If you'd like an extensive package for excelling in GRE you need just Magoosh.
