I’m in SF with my dad and had a terrible horrible experience at the Gregangelo museum where the guide asked us to share things we wished for: what we wanted in the present, what we regretted in the past, and what we wanted in the future. I’m over here doing 4D chess about how to give a detailed and vulnerable enough answer to satisfy her while not offending or revealing to much to my dad.

At one point I said I wish I had been a more difficult child because a lot of my regrets were about not knowing who I was earlier and my dad went “well I grew up poor and had my first job working a paper route when I was 11. I learned a lot about myself. I could have put you to work!”

Cool thanks bro. Have you considered (a) this was so clearly about how I didn’t see a single butch until I was 19 (b) I also had a job when I was 11! I was mowing lawns and babysitting! (c) actually suffering doesn’t improve you. Clearly.

18. what hair products do you use?

OH DEAR LORD how do I make this not take five pages? A lot. I decided about a year and a half ago that I wanted Good Curls, and one of the main secrets to that is a million pounds of moisture and then add more moisture XD

Shower products: Shea Moisture co-wash, a Verb moisturizing conditioner, and sometimes I'll do Taraji P Henson's tingly scalp treatment which I mostly bought because she's a Hot Bitch but it's really great :3

Post shower: Leave-in conditioner (currently Verb, but I've tried a bunch of curly-hair leave-ins and haven't formed any strong opinions), Marc Anthony curl lotion, Verb's curl foam and ghost oil and occasionally salt spray.

21. something you’ve kept since childhood?

Surprisingly not much, though that's partly due to recently moving counties XD. I still have some of my High School art projects and the sterling silver coffin ring I was so proud to buy as a babby goth. XD

22. the last adventure you’ve been on?

Hm... @jadedbirch and I frequently go on Sushi Adventures, does that count? And we're about to take my parents to the Gregangelo Museum which should be WILD.

Oh!! And we went to Sam's Castle a couple weeks ago which was the cutest??? AND since I feel like musical archeology should count as an adventure we also saw a newly-revived baroque opera called Olimipa Vendicata which was beautifully performed, hella queerly staged and SO. HILARIOUS.
