I opted for very simple in last night's set @gcma_sc ..I knew every gallery would be packed with people for the Member's Opening celebrating Andrew Wyeth's 100th birthday and the launch of "My Andy".. a book written by his Granddaughter, Victoria Wyeth with beautiful photographs she took of him during her growing up years...the exhibition of her photographs are now on view and how incredible to see the man as a Granddaddy as well as a famous artist! ...sometimes I think it best not to over shadow an exhibition with over-the-GOP decor and this was one of those occasions...the Wyeth Dynasty Exhibition @gcma_sc is incredible to view...works by NC Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth, Jamie Wyeth, Andy's younger son, Carolyn and Henrietta Wyeth, sisters of Andy and Victoria, Andy's Granddaughter...an exhibition surely not to miss if you are anywhere near @gcma_sc ! #deborahgibsondesign #greenvillecountymuseum #andrewwyeth #victoriawyeth (at Greenville County Museum of Art)

Set up looked great for last night's Members Opening, @gcma_sc..made this little pretty with Komo Loco roses from my garden..Victoria Wyeth was swamped autographing books during the book sales event....her book, "My Andy" full of photographs taken by her of her Grandfather, Andrew Wyeth is beautifully written and the photographs...such sweet documentation of her with her Grandfather!... the book is available on Amazon or in the @gcma_sc gift shop...we celebrated his 100th birthday in a very special way with the launch of this book she created and 300 of the museum's closest friends! #deborahgibsondesign #greenvillecountymuseum #victoriawyeth #kokolocorose #andrewwyeth (at Greenville County Museum of Art)
