Thats right boys and girls, I've made a new THSC AU that is based in the HOI4 mod, "The New Order: Last Days of Europe". Introducing the "On The Fields of Black Siberia AU" (or the "Green Scissor Black Shashka AU")!!!!!!1!1!1!1

This AU shows life in Siberian Black Army (a warlord state in post-collapse Russia that is ruled by anarchist in TNO) territory in the perspective of Vasily Shashka (my oc) and Ellio Ovelot (@yunaisky 's oc) who both explore the territory through their shenanigans, whether it's making origami, learning how to dance like a Russian soldier, "forcefully making negotiations" with a company owner about the wages of the workers, or dealing with the NKVD of Yagoda's Irkusk or the military personnel of Pasternap's Tomsk who are preparing to invade Vasily's homeland to retake lost territories.

Decided to animate Ellio (@yungaisky's silly paper voodoo guy) and Vasily (my silly anarchist soldier) hanging out in a tavern in SBA (Siberian Black Army) Territory.

Animation is based out of both the Russian warlord state "Siberian Black Army" from the HOI4 mod "TNO: Last Days of Europe" and my previous post with my drawing of the two

How Vasily Met Ellio For The First Time

(In collaboration with @yunaisky. And uhh, the stuff happening in the post is based on my TNO AU, Green Scissor Black Shashka.)

So basically, Ellio got lost travelling to Vasily's timeline and gets stranded in the outskirts of Kansk while suffering from the harsh conditions of the Siberian winter. Lucky for him, Vasily was just traveling nearby and was about to return to his cabin until he saw Ellio along the road. Initially Vasily tried to communicate Ellio in his mother tongue (Russian), but after realising he's not a local he spoke (steroytepical Russian) English and began questioning him. As soon as he saw Ellio's condition, Vasily decided to bring him to his cabin where he tends to Ellio's needs until he recovers.

Vasily: Привет? С тобой все в порядке? (Hello? are you alright?)

Ellio: *shaking and shivering because of the prolonged exposure to the Siberian outskirts*

Vasily: Вы не отсюда? (Are you not from here?), or do you speak English?

Ellio: *shakes his head*

Vasily: Oh, so you are foreigner? It does not matter, seems you been outside for too long. You look like you need to be warmed, why don't you come with me to my cabin? I have hot food and drink for you.

Eillo: .....yes

Vasily: Good good, now let's get you out of here before others can harm you.

After mounting Ellio to Makhno (his brown horse), Vasily went to his cabin where he prepared Ellio a hot serving of borscht and freshly brewed herbal tea from ingredients and things available for him. Along with a blanket that was originally owned by his babushka.

Vasily: Enjoyed the borscht and herbal tea yes? It's good for you.

Ellio: Yes, thank you so much.

Vasily: You were lucky that I found you, otherwise mother Siberia would have claimed your life in her cold embrace. So, how you come here?

Ellio: ......I have no idea.

Vasily: Oh, then you came here by chance? Anyways, may I know your name?

Ellio: Ellio... Ellio Ovelot.

Vasily: Nice to meet you Ellio, I am Vasily, Vasily Shaska. I am commanding officer of the local militia in the Siberian Black Army.

Ellio: Thank you again for the kind treatment, Vasily.

Vasily: Don't mention it comrade, you are welcome to stay in my cabin for as long as you want. You can use my bed if you wish to stay overnight. I can use some company here.

Ellio: I can use a place to stay at the moment.

"Talking After Chores"

Drew Vasily and Ellio talking about their past after being done with peeling potatoes for the commune in Kansk. Ellio talked about his time in the Toppats while holding his bunny Yuki and Vasily talked about his time in an NKVD death squad while making something out of a potato sack.

Aftermath:

Vasily made a small telogreika jacket and pants out of a potato sack and some cloth he found for Yuki.

"Minor" lore drop: after some funny dming with yungaisky, we decided to uhhh.. make Vasily Ellio's boyfriend because one, I "accidentally" made Vasily look like as if he's in a relationship with Ellio. Two, according to her it's cute for Ellio to have a boyfriend to comfort him. And three, it's accurate in the TNO lore (for Vasily) because of society in the Siberian Black Army (one of the two warlord states in Russia where LGBT are either legally protected or socially accepted).

So Ellio managed to return to his universe along with Vasily who came with him after fleeing as the Siberian Black Army (Vasily's home) collapsed from being conquered by a warlord state (that I will not mention for now), With nowhere else to go, he decided to work for the Toppats as that's the only place where he can make a living and Ellio recruiting him despite secretly despising the criminal activities they were doing to certain people. He is assigned to black market and organ harvesting duty along with other duties where he's accompanied by Ellio, Frederick, and Erick. In his free time, he would mostly spend it hanging out with Ellio from talking about their hatred towards their job to doing their hobbies such as drawing and origami.

Since I wanna add something to the art trade for the time taken for my end of the bargain, I decided to draw Ellio with bunny ears as requested

Expanded my AU a bit by formally giving prominent roles for some supporting characters who will be present in the AU from time to time.

Vasily's (Military) Companions:

1. Artyom Chekov

A rifleman and sharpshooter of Vasily's milita

Vasily's second in command to the Kansk Militsiya should he be absent

A former paper manufacturer before the war

Despite having a boy name, Artyom is actually a girl

Provides Ellio paper for his needs through his old connections as a paper manufacturer

2. Boris Baladin

An assault soldier of Vasily's milita

Childhood and family friend of Vasily, knew him in Kansk during the 1940s

Boris is Ukrainian who was born into a family of Ukrainian dissidents of the Russian Empire who were exiled to Siberia

Boris and Vasily actually served in the military together back in Irkusk (Presidentium of the Supreme Soviet) during the 1950s although Boris enlisted in the army and Vasily recruited into the NKVD

Boris lost an eye during the Siberian War where he was hit by an artillery shrapnel

Boris would have been purged and executed by the NKVD but managed to defect along with Vasily and a couple of military personnel

3. Ivan Devin

A skirmisher of Vasily's milita

He's the militia's cook and (to some extent) medic

He was a former combat medic for Tomsk (Central Siberian Republic) as a republican soldier

He would cook good food for the militiamen, he would also give some recipes to Vasily for Ellio to enjoy

Besides the AK-47, he also brings an axe to not only chop wood, but also chop enemies

4. Dmitry Dmitriev

A machine gunner of Vasily's milita

Operates a Maxim machine gun, would often go crazy when given a shitton of ammunition for the machine gun

Is a silly goofball who should not be trusted with operating a machine gun

A former worker at a weapons manufacturer and soldier of the Central Siberian Republic, thus his knowledge of guns

He's actually gay, thus he doodled his helmet to show his pride towards his preference (he doodled a symbol of the gay gender over a Soviet red star)

Vasily's troops were so impressed with Ellio's skill in origami when he showed Ellio's creation of an origami of him in his horse that they requested to Vasily if Ellio can teach them how to do origami. The troops had fun with making origami, Vasily joined in the fun and decided to make a swan origami and showed it to Ellio.

Did a "little" conceptualization of the possible design of my AU's Ellio Ovelot

1. Default Wear: The suit that Ellio wears by default with an additional black armband for Vasily's troops and other anarchist to recognise him as friendly.

2. Field "Summer" Wear: A modified NKVD Squad uniform that was originally owned by Vasily when he still served as an NKVD personnel in Irkusk, now given to Ellio to not only make him blend in with Vasily's troops as his companion, but to also make him comfortable with the environment of Siberia and to avoid being mistaken for something the SBA or the Council frowns upon. All NKVD badges, designs, and attachments are removed and replaced with pieces of black cloth. A black armband with a skull, an opened scissor, and the word "НОЖНИЦЫ" (SCISSORS) along with Ellio's modified bracelet/bowtie are included to avoid being mistaken for one of the NKVD personnel from Irkusk.

3. Field "Summer" Wear with Cap: Similar to the Field "Summer" Wear but the tophat is replaced with a modified NKVD personnel cap which was owned by Vasily. Replicates Ellio's tophat but the Soviet and NKVD emblem is replaced with a homemade mini scissor.

4. Winter Wear: Also similar to the Field "Summer" Wear but with a modified NKVD winter jacket included that was once owned by Vasily. All of the NKVD badges are removed and replaced with a black cloth for recognition. Black armband and a Cossack hat are also included. Very useful for the harsh winters of Siberia.

"Dark Is The Night"

Ellio had trouble going to sleep, since Vasily does not have sleeping pills (let alone the entire land occupied by the Siberian Black Army) he decided to play Tjomnaja Noch (Dark is the night) using an accordion to try to make him sleep through music.

Bio and Reference for Vasily "Shashka", my Anarchist OC from the TNO-verse

Name: Vasily Shashka (Real Name: Vasily Vasilovich Akan)

Age: 23 yrs/o

Place of Orgin: Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Former territory of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet (now controlled by the Siberian Black Army)

Likes: Anarchism, the people, vodka, dancing, drawing, singing, playing the accordion, horse riding, close friends

Dislikes: Tyranny, oppression, fascism, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet, Genrikh Yagoda (rasin looking tyrant), enemies and threats to the people and his close friends, sand

Info: Vasily is a soldier and member of the Siberian Black Army (a warlord state located in Western Russia that are made up of anarchist who sought to free the people from tyranny and oppression) along with also being a member of the Siberian Anarchist Council (which he helps in making decisions for the state). He also leads a group of soldiers called the "Kansk Militsiya" (apart of Army 1) which makes him responsible for the security of the commune.

Past: Vasily was born to a family who holds military and cultural traditions in Kansk, his paternal side were cavalry and navy men back from the reign of Tsar Alexander all the way to the time of Bukharin while his maternal side were skilled and professional artists, compossers, and dancers. After the Fall of the Soviet Union and the estabishment of Yagoda's remant state, Vasily joined up the military at the young age of 18 (due to family connections) in hopes of pursuing a military career. During the Siberian War, Vasily would begin to hate Yagoda's government due to not only to the tyranny they imposed, but also the execution of most of his family members (especially his beloved mother) by the NKVD. When the locals and military personnel from Tomsk revolted in Bratsk, him and several of his friends would defect to the newly established Siberian Black Army and would swear to fight for the freedom of the people.

Favorite Food: Russian and homemade food

Ellio Ovelot - For some reason, he became friends with a vodoo guy who has abilities using only a paper and a scissor. Despite that and the deteriorating state of Ellio, Vasily would still become good friends with him and would even have fun together to a point that some of the troops refer to him as "Vasiliy's Yablochko". He would also comfort Ellio to the best of his ability.

Riding In The Outskirts Of Kansk

Vasily was ordered to have the Kansk Militsiya deal with a disturbance on a village in the ouskirts of the commune. Vasily also decided to bring Ellio along the mission and had him ride in his horse "Makhno" as he does not want to leave him in the city alone.
