For #grandseikoweek2023 an initiative started by @the.automatic.diver @grandseikofamily I am nominating one of my favourite GS the SBGA129 this model was initially released only in Japan limited edition to 369 pieces it took me a few years to find one in good condition. Kicking off the celebration of 110 years of the first Seiko wristwatch, the Laurel, Grand Seiko presents a limited edition of 500 pieces that recreates its first model, released in 1960. This reissue received a 38 x 10.9 mm titanium case and a lacquered dial using the traditional Japanese Urushi technique, in addition to gold powder indexes. The Grand Seiko Watchmaking 110th Anniversary Limited Edition SBGW295 is equipped with a 9S64 manual winding movement with a 3-day power reserve. 💰 USD 13,800 . The watch has a 43.8 mm case in Brilliant Hard Titanium, a proprietary alloy of the brand, brighter and silvered. In addition to the case material, the unique piece is distinguished by gilded and thermally blued movement elements. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Children's Heart Foundation. .
