“I’m sure it does.” He smiles, sitting cross-legged on the meditation cushion. He was proud of them. They really were growing up so fast! … Especially considering they still had at least a few thousand years left on their life span. But that was something to think about later. For now,  he’s thinking about their story. They’re old enough to go on missions without him. Not unsupervised, of course. Not yet. 

(Give it a few more years. He was sure their knighting would be right on schedule.) 

But old enough to go out with other Knights, even some Masters. This time, it had been his old master. From the sounds of it, it seemed as though neither Obi-Wan nor his luck had changed much since Braig’s knighting. It was as reassuring as it was worrying. At least he knew that his master could handle himself. 

And, of course, there was nobody he would rather trust his padawan to.

“Now, don’t let me stop you - tell me about the gundarks. How do they connect to the paint buckets?”
