Once you two are outside and the music starts, he wakes up a bit more

You both know all the words to every song and you’re hyping each other especially with the colab songs

Vouging and busting out the good moves (maybe you’ve got some Madonna in there too yes YES)

Definition of dance like no one is watching

You’re having such a great time and don’t even realize how late it gets

He’s cookin a lil midnight snack in his pjs

MC wakes up from the good smell and comes in to kitchen and wraps her arms around his back

Food forgotten (he turns off the stove don’t worry)

There’s no music but you’ve got each other and you’re holding each other close

He’s in his pajamas pacing on the phone

After he hangs up you take him by the hand back to the bedroom

so here are my own hopes dreams for the upcoming (possibly v) route.

we get to meet v before everything happens. before mint eye, before rfa, before rika. the mc and v fall in love & begin a romantic relationship, v may meet rika (and as a result, yoosung too) like he does otherwise considering his job, but they wouldn’t get into a relationship since v’s already in one (unless he’s an ass, but let’s hope not). you get to be friends with jumin, hang out with v and him, things are gr8.

then you and v meet saeyoung at church, rescue the twins, and the rfa is later formed under a different name. they hold charity parties like the original rfa, but the proceeds go to organisations that help children in abusive households.

Zen:

It was almost time for bed and you were finishing up your nightly routine in the hallway bathroom while Zen had long finished his routine in the bedroom’s bathroom bc of course he needed to hog one bathroom all to himself 

When he assumed that you were almost done, a playful thought came to his mind,

“What if I hide behind the bedroom door and scare MC??”

That’s gr8 Zen, you go do that this won’t end badly at all

So he shut off all the lights in the house and waited behind the door

It took a few minutes, but he finally heard the door creak open and your confused voice echoing throughout the house

“Zen? Did you go to bed already? Helloooo?”

When there was no response, you just shrugged and made your way to the bedroom to join your boyfriend, “Hm, guess he’s already asleep.”

The footsteps became closer and closer and before you could step into the room, Zen leaped out, lightly grabbing your shoulders for further scare points

“BOO!”

He heard you yelp loudly but soon felt your shoulders slip away from his grasp, and soft gasping noises filling the air

Zen immediately flipped on the light switch only to find that you’ve fallen on your butt to the floor crying

Regret is the first emotion to fill his system

You feel yourself being enveloped in his arms and a constant flow of “I’m sorry’s” in your ear

Despite knowing that it was him and his attempts to soothe you, you just couldn’t stop crying for some reason

Eventually Zen picked you up and carried you over to the bed, climbing in as you cuddled up to his chest

In hindsight, watching a horror movie at 3 am wasn’t a good idea because now you were terrified of anything and everything

Based on the ship opinions, what do you think about Saeran X MC?

short answer: PLEASE CHERITZ

long answer: PRETTY PLEASE CHERITZ? WITH A CHERRY [exaggerated wink] ON TOP?

slightly longer answer: saeran x mc has the potential to be a profound dynamic if executed properly in a future route. rn the only saeran x mc action we get are from bad endings (such as the christmas route) or unrequited pining (like in v’s route), neither of which are gr8 for obvious reasons lmao. but in light of the fact a saeran route does not currently exist, i can’t exactly make a conclusive judgement on what i think of the pairing overall.

that said, despite what the fandom sometimes suggests, i do think having a person like mc in saeran’s life would do him A LOT of good. rika has turned saeran against pretty much everyone who cares about him, which means he isn’t going to listen to them when they try to help him. and before anyone says “but what about the secret endings!” keep in mind that it takes saeyoung weeks, if not months, to get anywhere with saeran, because rika’s manipulation was so thorough. not to mention saeran nearly kills saeyoung during this period of time (and did in fact kill v) which uhhhhhhh yeah that’s not really ideal.

but you know whose image rika hasn’t tainted? mc’s. mc is an outsider, neither mint eye or rfa, and in a way she is proof that rika’s doctrine is wrong. saeran is under the belief that he is unloveable, that “the light” doesn’t want him, and that mint eye is his sanctuary. so then, what happens when good, kind mc accepts him? listens to him? understands his anguish and wants to help him in REAL way – not by coddling his more needy tendencies, but by being patient, shedding light on the truth of his situation, and offering to help him get out together? now, i’m not saying mc’s empathy is going to magically “fix” saeran’s mental state – his recovery process is going to be a lengthy ordeal regardless of who’s involved – but under the right circumstances, with enough proof and trust, mc’s influence may be enough to convince him to leave willingly. 

also as a quick side note how fucking great would it be if there was a confrontation moment where rika realizes that mc’s continued influence over saeran could make him turn away from mint eye and subsequently she tries to “get rid of her” but saeran catches her and is faced with the truth that mc’s right / rika’s been systematically severing every bond saeran holds dear and that’s his tipping point? imagine rika screaming at saeran to do what she says, to drug mc or something worse, only to be met with a flat “…no” and then saeran RUNS AWAY with mc in tow. IT WOULD BE A CATHARTIC AND EXHILARATING EXPERIENCE I NEED IT IN MY LIFE IMMEDIATELY CHERITZ P L E A S E
